She continued to explain that once we woman pass the age of 13, we "grow more into our figure". After being embarrassed, my friends left the store and told us what happened. My friends and I are in our 20's and are not children. This is an extremely disappointing experience and we have never seen this bad of customer service. You guys should really look into that.

I love this place! Finally, a neighborhood bra store for us ladies in NOVA that don't want to conquer the mall or order our special sizes online. Finding a size 30C can be difficult, but here they had plenty of options in basic styles and in pretty colors. I feel bad for all my friends who still think that Victoria's Secret does bra fittings and has quality products. After finding Belle Mode, I will never shop anywhere else! The staff here is amazing, they really bend over backwards to help solve fashion fixes and get their customers exactly what they need. This store has introduced me to so many unique, handy products that I had no clue existed and I always leave learning something new from the ladies working there. The small shop/boutique ambiance is something you can't find many places in the DC area, but this is one. I've been back countless times to shop their new styles of jewelry, pjs, & negligee - they never disappoint. Their stuff is so stylish and soft and all has great prices! What more can a girl ask for? I visited Belle Mode due to a referral from a friend. She knows how hard it is for me to find my size anywhere else and said that she had a fantastic experience when she visited. Well the store lived up to its expectations and after an hour of one on one service I was able to leave with several bras in my size that are so cute and several that are very functional. The girl working was very nice and seemed knowledgeable about bras and knew exactly what would fit me. She spent a significant amount of time with me and made me feel very comfortable. I've shopped at many bra stores in my life and this was the first one that I was impressed with the low prices. She explained to me that their mark up on most merchandise is less than the suggested one which is amazing! With the economy today, you can really appreciate saving that $15 some odd dollars per bra! I've been shopping Belle Mode since the store opened a few years ago in Fairfax Corner. Now, every undergarment, piece of lingerie, hosiery and nightgown I own is from the boutique. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. The staff is terrific and solutions-oriented; product quality and selection are top-notch; and I'm a firm supporter of small business. I'm so glad I found this place! They have soooo many fun items to choose from. I was especially pleased to be greeted by the owner who really knows her stuff! She gave me a custom fitting and I have been coming back and back. They have a mix in priced items so anyone can find something that fits their style and pocket. I went into this lingerie shop after eating across the street at Ozzie's. I was surprised to find that they carried much more than lingerie. They had pajamas, robes, jewelry, yoga wear, and candles. I see the positive reviews here are years old, so here's an update: NTY management is just as or even more snobby now, the prices are even higher -- not just because of time passing but also likely the expensive location -- and they don't even have cool clothes any more.

Once I took the dress home, I noticed the dress was missing over 30 sequins in very visible places because they had been glued on. When I tried to return it within three hours of buying it, despite the website stating that she will accept returns, the seller was very rude and refused to accept the return. She stated that returns were only for online orders, which is stated nowhere on her website. She should not have a written return policy that is a misrepresentation of her actual policy. She offered to replace "some of the missing beads," which is a terrible offer. Why would I accept a partial repair for a $2,000 dress when her workmanship was of poor quality in the first place? The sequins would just fall off again! She also told me that I should have checked for the missing sequins myself! The seller is saying if she sells you a defective product, it's YOUR problem and you assume the risk, which is a horrible business practice. When you pay thousands of dollars for a dress, you expect it to be of good quality. She offered at most a $400 refund, which is unacceptable. She also accused me of trying to make a profit because I was unhappy with another dress I had purchased from a different owner, which honestly made no logical sense as I was just trying to receive a refund for a dress I had barely worn and purchased a few hours before. I highly recommend that you avoid shopping here. The dresses might look nice on first glance, but are made cheaply.
