The store is set up as multiple stalls for different vendors, but everything is located in the same room. There are a lot of pieces in the hundreds, but it's really easy to find beautiful things for less than $50. I bought a great hand-painted serving bowl and pitcher. Evolution home has a large selection of vintage clothing, designer bags, home decor, and furniture. Would highly recommend checking this store out. Only downside is the parking. There is limited availability in the front of the store, and even so, the spot required us to 8 point turn to get out because someone parked really close behind us.

They have tons and tons of clothing racks! I found some real gems in including a 100% linen shirt and three pairs of shorts. Each item is priced differently and the items are sorted by category and size. These thrift stores give you a 20% off coupon if you donate something. They also have 25% discount days on Mondays and Thursdays, so those days are pretty busy.

They have mediocre art priced as high as $89.99. They treat the art like it is junk; it is crammed on the shelves and it is stacked haphazardly on the floor. The bric-a-brac is not much better. While they offer a diverse array of tchotchkes they too are exorbitantly overpriced and they are crammed together on the shelves, and have a junky appearance. I commiserated with a customer who wanted to buy a small night light with Blessed mother and the Christ child. it was made in China and I would estimate the value to be around $5; they had it priced at $29.99. They were selling a small Willow tree angel for $14.99; you can get a new one at the Hallmark store in its box for that price or less. I also went into the aisle where they had random picture frames. The aisle was crammed with picture frames which were haphazardly arranged. visually it was unappealing and the art frames on the lower shelf were stacked in a way that they were inaccessible.So here is the dilemma; this is a junky thrift shop that is trying to pretend that it is a boutique and it is not happening. I am all in favor of supporting charity thrift stores but this store is unfairly pricing these donated goods such that the people who depend on thrift shopping to add special things or necessities cannot afford them. My Mom was visiting and wanted to visit some local antique stores nearby. There's not much…read more "antique" that I'm aware of or could find in the metro DC area so this ended up on the very short list of places to visit. We came here first and were blown away by how neat, clean, and well decorated the store was. The first item I was drawn to was a beautifully hand painted egg in excellent condition - for something like $13. I couldn't think of anyone it would have been a good gift for, but wish I did! It was gorgeous and definitely a piece someone would cherish. They had numerous such type items. My Mom found some fabrics and other items she loved so much she was willing to get them and schlep them all the way back to Hawaii in her luggage. She also enjoyed looking at all the jewelry in the cases and talking with the helpful volunteers. The only off note for me was while talking to one of the volunteers, they made it a point to let me know they didn't accept all donations. Twice. I almost laughed out loud in her face the second time. Don't assume because I'm in shorts and a T-shirt that I'm not aware of the niche the store is attempting to maintain, or that I don't have items to donate that they would make money off of. *But* they are volunteers and they were super nice to my Mom so they get a pass for it. I'll be bringing other friends who love this kind of shopping by in the future. Being the first store we visited made the others pale in comparison. Definitely a winner!

I woke up in the mood to go on a thrifting adventure and decided to see what establishments were in…read moremy neighborhood and discovered that The Bargain Loft was less than a mile away. Tucked away in an industrial park, the store is quaint yet extremely well put together and merchandised ... it really made shopping fun because the way they had everything arranged literally caught your attention and drew you in. Oh and the entire store was 50% off so it made discovering treasures even that much more exciting. I purchased a unique pair of boho wedge sandals and tons of bracelets and a necklace ... all for $15!!!! I didn't take any pics which is so unlike me, but that just tells you how much fun I had and I'll definitely be back!
