I love coming to Bella Marie nails. All of the nail techs go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide great service. Thanks to Hannah and Lisa for always doing an amazing job on my nails. They hold up for about 3 weeks. Heidi and Nancy always do my pedicures. The massages on my legs and feet are unbelievable. I've been coming here since about 2015 and will always come back, I only get my nails done 2-3 times a year at most but always have the best experience coming in, the lady's are always very nice and have always given me the best medi/pedi experience no matter what time of day or how busy they are. I don't usually write reviews but I'm seriously disappointed in this place! Went in to get dip on my nails and everything went smooth. Four days later one of my nails gets a crack, then the next day one other nail chips, the next day another one cracks.... so now it's been about a week and my nails haven't lasted. I got back in to get them fixed.. she ends up putting a different top coat on them and puts my hands under UV light.. well three days later that top layer is coming off on about four nails and made them look dented... so a week after i got them redone. Another nail chips in the corner... I've gotten my nails at numerous places but this was the worst. I've had nails last me a month!! I'm a pretty passive person and things don't normally bother me but the service I received at Bella nails today was SO bad, I felt compelled to write this. If it helps just one person, I'll be happy All of these issues could have been corrected or avoided if they cared about me as a customer. 1. When I put my feet in the pedicure tub, the water was ice cold. I informed the technician and she acted like I was lying! She finally felt it and said "yes, it's cold" and began scooping it out and putting it in the tub next to me...where a lady was sitting getting a polish change on her nails!! Water splashed on the lady getting the polish change. I told her sorry several times and she didn't seem to mind but it bothered me that she got splashed. The water she added to my tub next, was still cold! Never did get warm water. 2. I work in law enforcement and requested she do a thin blue line on my big toenail. She asked me if I liked cops and I said yes and she laughed at me. I thought about getting up and leaving right then but I was soaking the powder off my nails so I stayed. Also, to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she wasn't laughing at me at all, you never know. It made me very uncomfortable though! 3. the acetone on me twice while the nails were soaking. Thank goodness it didn't damage my shirt! After the first time I was like YIKES, let's be careful, and she just glared at me. 4. When she used the machine to get the powder/dip off my nails, it was flying everywhere - in my ear, mouth, eyes and hit my arms. Crazy! 5. I still had residue of dip on my hands and it got on my leg and she didn't do anything about it when I showed her. 6. Shellac Is missing on some parts of my toes. 7. She hurt the cuticle on my big toe on the side and it's still swollen some. She made it bleed! 8. When it came to my nails, she cut me 4 times and 3 nails bled. She didn't say she was sorry or act like she cared one bit! 9. My nails are very bumpy some of the dip is uneven. My nails aren't the same shape and she didn't remove all of the cuticles. Some of the nails are very ugly on the sides. I've been here before and have never been treated this way. It was an awful experience!! I'll never go back. Hopefully, if you do, you'll be treated better! read more

There seems to be several others who had the same experience I did. When you spend 3 hours getting your nails done and end up in tears it's not worth it. There's a reason why they don't allow google reviews for this place. So, I recently just moved to the jersey village area and I needed to find a new place to get my nails done. This place was close and seemed to have some good reviews so I decided to try it out. I came in on a Thursday morning at 9:00 am to get a pedicure, eyebrows and full set. When I walked in they were very helpful, very nice. I was sat down and within 15 min my pedicure was done. I was horrified and confused at how the service I received was "complete". My nails were cut unevenly, nail polish was both on my nail and toe. No massage like most places do. No scrub for my feet. It was just a mess. Next, my full set was absolutely HORRIBLE. This is where it got bad. I had to ask the technician 3 times to redo them because she kept telling me I was done and they really really looked awful. Half the nail had no polish in it. None of the nails were the same shape. Not to mention her horrible attitude. I finally was IN TEARS. I was so unhappy with how I was treated. I was there for 3 hours and spent $80 on service that was unacceptable and unprofessional. It's sad that this place allows their employees to give half ass service and is okay with leaving their customers literally crying. Never once did they apologize. Instead they all sat in the back and talked about me like I couldn't see them and understand what they were saying. I must say the manager did fix my nails after repeatedly telling me she wouldn't. I was not leaving with my nails how they were. Unacceptable. I will never be returning to this nail salon and I hope you all take my advice and do the same. read more

I went one day to try them out for a refill on a full set with shellac & it was the worst experience ever. The nail tech rushed the whole time, she was in such a hurry to finish that she cut me twice with the machine that files your nails. She also missed several spots of acrylic & polish & just did an overall horrible job at polishing my nails. My nails were also all different shapes & sizes. I will never go back again. Besides that, the UV light machine is super dirty & the nail files were so disgusting & very used. They are more expensive than most places near by so go spend your money somewhere else. read more

This place is TERRIBLE! She rushed through all of my services(Mani, Wax and Pedi). Refused to listen to me when I kept trying to tell her how I wanted my nails done. She just kept saying "I know , I know, I know!" But she didn't know and she did them all wrong. I had my legs waxed and she did it all wrong and left so much hair behind, I still had to shave my legs. The UV dryer was filthy and disgusting and I had to ask her to wash my hands as they didn't tell me do, which is the norm. She hurt me while filing my finger and toe nails,then , they told me $25 for my daughters nails. When we checked out, they charged me $35 for her nails,(she is 10), saying that this thin silver line they drew on top ,which they never asked me to do or told me anything while they were doing it was $10 extra. I left feeling practically violated, treated rudely and completely unsatisfied. I will NEVER go back! read more

The nail technician cut a chunk of my big toe skin. It's been 5 days and it still hurts! I would put a picture but she also managed to cut my toe nails too short, they look ugly! As for my shellac, the 1st shellac started peeling off after the second day and the majority started chipping off by the 5th. Just moved to the Jersey Village area and wanted to find a new spot to get my nails done. Belle Mare Nails was the closest place that seemed to have the better reviews. Of course there's always some negative ones but I always like to give the benefit of the doubt, so I went in and received a mani/pedi. Let me start of by saying they were very welcoming and helpful even though there was a strong language barrier. I was introduced to the lady who was going to take care of me, unfortunately I did not catch her name. She started on my pedicure and 10 minuets later she was done, with polish and all. I was surprised to look down and see what an awful job she had done. My toe nails were cut unevenly, hardly filled, and the paint job was horrendous. It was so terrible I wanted to leave without getting the manicure. But again, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt so I let her do my manicure. I was going to do a shellac mani but because she did an equally terrible job on my nails as she did on my toes, I decided to do just regular polish. It's sad that this place allows their employees to give half ass manis/pedis and be okay with their customers leaving upset. I will never return to this place and I hope you all will take my advice and do the same. For those who do decide to visit Belle Mara Nails, I hope your experience is 100 times better and good luck!
