Every order is served on a little tray with chopped onion and cilantro on the side along with a little cup of charro beans. I've had the trompo (al pastor), barbacoa, and carne asada, and they were all incredible and VERY generous on the meat. Elote was decent and (as a fun fact) they have a self serve sauce and cheeto/takis dust area that you can top it off with. The restaurant is directly connected to a dessert shop with an expansive dessert menu and freezers full of $1.50 paletas (I suggest the rice flavor - kind of like a horchata on a stick).

My husband and I visited for dinner on a Friday night and it was pretty packed! There was no line to order at the counter, but many of the tables were already taken (though we did manage to get a table for the two of us). We tried a variety of items on the extensive menu, and my favorites were definitely the trompo tacos and the quesabirria tacos! The carne asada taco was good but I personally always prefer trompo / al pastor, and the volcanes was interesting to try. Unfortunately, the chicken taco was very bland and flavorless. Furthermore, the other thing that makes me hesitate to return is the fact that there was quite a bit of fat on the meat in the tacos, which made it more difficult to fully enjoy.

The menu has so many tasty offerings and the food was delicious. However, the prices are, in my opinion, steep for street size food. My Mahi Mahi taco was delicious, but it was small. I was still hungry and could have easily ordered a second or even third taco BUT at $11 for one taco that was too steep for lunch. Instead, Dani and I PAID to split chips + salsa - not free, but a paid appetizer. Our server was so quiet we had trouble hearing him and he mostly left us to ourselves, occasionally dropping by to fill waters. Dream Tacos has excellent food, but the portion sizes and cost are far too steep for this area and for being a taco joint. Sadly, I don't think they will last at these ptoces in this location.

Today, we had the pleasure of dining at Bella Green. The atmosphere was inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made us feel right at home. I decided to try the hand-pulled chicken tacos. These tacos were a symphony of flavors - the roasted all-natural zaatar-crusted chicken was succulent and perfectly complemented by the sautéed red onions, yellow and red peppers, avocado, queso fresco, cilantro, and a spicy peach chipotle sauce. I had the spicy fish tacos last time, which I actually prefer. Next up was the Spicy Vixen(not that spicy so don't worry). The Akaushi Wagyu meatballs were incredibly tender, paired beautifully with mushrooms, mozzarella, and ricotta. The house-made garlic marinara sauce was rich and flavorful, topped off with a honey-habanero sauce that added the perfect kick. Overall, our experience at Bella Green was great. The combination of high-quality ingredients, chef-earned them a spot on our list of favorite dining destinations. We can't wait for our next visit! read more

For a place that seemed more health conscious, I was surprised they wouldn't have a more nutritious plant-based option. The salad was not filling and although light and sweet, was also a bit sour. We also tried the Power Green juice which was too sour and heavy on lemon for most of our tastes. The sandwiches (steak and curry) were good at least but had small portions. At least the food came out quickly, and service was good. Overall I was quite disappointed in the visit for what we paid for ($52), not only from how unsatisfying the food tasted but also the limited plant protein options.

I have been a fan of True Food for a LONG time, but this most recent visit left me disappointed. The menu still offers many "healthy" options, but while the princes have gone up (to their credit everyone is raising prices) what really gets me is the portions have become so much smaller. My $25 Tuna Poke bowl was delicious, but was the size of an appetizer. I was still so hungry when I was done. I would have ordered a side or additional appetizer to fill me up but between my bowl and $15 margarita I was already looking at a bill close to $50! At the end of the day I give them 3.5 stars because the food is good, the food is fresh and they offer good gluten free | vegan | dairy free options. However, the drinks are weak and are mostly ice, the cost for the portions is so high and you'll likely leave hungry but spent over $50/person after all is said and done. I would eat at True Food again, but I probably wouldn't choose it as my first option.
