Although it is on the pricier side- I've had a regular pedicure last a month from this place.. so it's worth the price. Lastly-their pedicures includes a timed massage!! I normally don't leave reviews but for the amount of money that people who get their nails done spend, respectfully I have to. I went to get my nails done here on Thursday (7/30/2021), I came in after a month long vacation where I could not get my nails redone so my dip powder was very grown out. But it had also only been 3.5 weeks so it didn't look too bad considering how long dip powder lasts. My nail technician instead of soaking my nails off proceeded to use a large cuticle nipper to rip off the hardened powder. I asked why she wasn't soaking it and she did not stop and said since it's been on so long this was the way to take it off. During the process she also ripped off the length of one my nails and then charged to fix it. My nails looked terrible afterwards. So much so I wish I would have stopped her to finishing soaking the rest. Just ripped layers of nails and all of that. Horrible. I also left with cuticle pain on about 6 of my fingers. Needless to say, today is Monday (8/3/21) and my powder has already chipped on 3 nails. What a waste of money to have not only had my nails ruined to the point of being confined to powder until they grow out, but also for it not even last a week. A disappointment. My nail tech was a nice woman, but she was not skilled in the removal and application process for powder. Not ok, and a very uncomfortable experience. read more

I've been to Bellacures three times. It's one of this year's great discoveries! What I like: It's easy to schedule (with online account) and get in when it's convenient. (Most of) the manicurists are very nice. The gals at the front desk do a great job managing it all - activity in the salon, scheduling, email responses (usually within 5 mins), etc. It's a busy salon, but I haven't seen anyone - including myself - have to wait. I like the big, comfy chairs (more than the typical spa chairs you find in a lot of salons). The music is good and not too soft/loud. The location is great. I use the free valet parking available. It's located right next to several great places to eat, shop, and get more services. Lastly, it's not a salon just for the ladies. You'll see a fair share of men, kids, and teenagers coming through. read more

Once I got there, after they started working on my nails, the technician all were confused trying to figure out how to do it and ended up doing a horrible work. Well, this is the place that finally drew me to write my first yelp review. Considering the price, this is the worst experience I've ever had with my nails. I came in with the expectation that this would be some super relaxing and peaceful experience. It was an ordinary, busy nail salon without the massage chairs and especially hurried and rude staff. I didn't even get the full extent of the services I paid for, nor the nail tech that I had requested for my appointment -- and either the staff didn't notice or they just hoped that I wouldn't. I didn't say anything at the time because I was trying to be optimistic and the techs already seemed so busy and unhappy to be there. Also, the massages were about a minute long. By the end of my appointment I felt so tense and upset with everything. The nails themselves are subpar. Nothing amazing. My manicurist made one of my nails so short that the nail bed is exposed slightly. The whole experience was incredibly dysphoric. read more

I had been going here for years for a gel mani every other week. The manicures do feel rushed but I was always okay with that because the polish stayed on well and I didn't have much time to spare anyway. But after a while Kaitlyn started using the electric filing drill to remove my gels. I looked at one of my nails during one service and saw that the nail looked damaged. It looked almost like a bruise underneath the nail. I mentioned it to Kaitlyn and she just blew it off and said oh it's fine. I knew something was wrong so went to another salon to have the gels removed the next time (and i must mention this place was about half the price of bellacures). The technicians were horrified and told me not to put polish on them but to see my dermatologist to get medicine. I went 2 days later to my derm and she said my nails were horribly damaged and I probably got fungus b/c of the damage caused by the removal tools. I had to get a topical solution which costs $$$$ to put on my nails for the last 4 months and finally my nails are repaired. I will never step foot in a bellacures again. Don't be fooled by the interior of the salon or the prices. That does not indicate a good or clean manicure. Please beware. read more

They were very sweet and did a good job. My manicurist Nancy was good and professional. A bit rushed with the job but the nails were done well. Ton was my pedicurist and she was very gentle with my callous treatment and super sweet and nice. At the end of the session I messed up a toenail and she fixed it with no complaints :) Parking is atrocious at this location but that's fine! Only thing is I also would have liked to know that the callous treatment would be an extra charge, but I was given a discount because of that. read more

I went back recently for a callous removal pedi and 10 minute extra massage. my favorite tech had quit so I saw someone else who did in comparison an incomplete job. I was shocked at checkout to learn the bill was $80. They never bothered to tell me the prices had been raised and man were they raised. The prior $1 per minute for extra massage is now $2 per minute. When I went to tip my tech I told her I hoped the techs had gotten raises as a result of the price increases. She rolled her eyes, laughed and said that no raises were given. Found a new salon which I am much happier with, prior tech from bellacures who opened her own nail salon. read more

I typically go to a salon by my home that I love but they had no available appointments so I thought I would try this place. very rude service. the two nail techs doing my mani and pedi were talking badly about another customer when I sat down. one of them was sweet but the other was quite rude. she nicked my skin and kept pulling my hand aggressively. she seemed really frustrated for no apparent reason and snapped at me. on top of it, my gel manicure and regular pedicure was $100 for really subpar, unimpressive work. nothing special and really not worth the price for a bad service. do not recommend coming here! read more

There are plenty of places in LA to get manicures, but this is definitely one of the better ones. It's spacious and comfortable with extra large comfy chairs instead of the standard uncomfortable ones. They have tons of colors to choose from in both fan-favorites: Essie and OPI, several rows of "gellicures" to choose from and even offer a child-friendly polish for those with little girls (or boys) who want their nails done. I will say that the nail technicians are hit or miss, which is why I can't give 5 stars, but there are more good than bad and if you're unhappy they'll switch you out for a different girl. You just have to find the ones you like best and remember to ask for them. I've learned that the hard way. The girls behind the desk are sweet and helpful and parking is easy, plenty of street parking and the occasional free valet. I get the gel manicures more often than not and they usually last for a solid two weeks if not a little longer. They're also located right next to a Pressed Juicery which is handy if you're on a cleanse and if you're in LA there's a good chance you *are.* read more

I wish I would have seen before that this place has a 3 star reviews, this way I could have save my self from a terrible and humiliating experience that I had to go through at this dishonest business! I walked in on Saturday and asked to get a gel manicure with a dip clear powder. The girl at the front desk told me that it will cost me 55$ for the gel manicure and $65 for the dip powder !!! Given the fact that in the past three years I've been going to a near by location ( In fact a block away!!) and paying total of $55 for this exact service I was a little shocked and told her that is a complete ripe off. The girl seems to be annoyed so she called another girl which explained to me that this are the prices and that there is nothing that she can do about it. Stupid enough, I have decided to take her advise and to do only the dip powder for $65 in order to save few bucks . 10 Minutes after I was seating and waiting for my treatment to start - the 2 girls came back and told me that they think that it's not a good idea for me to stay since they have a feeling that I'm going to give them an attitude. It was already 15 min after my appointment time and since I really needed to get my nails done, I have decided to swallow my pride and to tell her that I will stay and pay whatever she suggested. Wait! did I mention that at this point she realized she 'forgot' to tell me that the gel removal would be an additional $20??? Yes.. I stayed. Unfortunately!!! The technician was very kind (even though she spilled by accident acetone on my leather pants...) I have asked her to fix my 2 broken nails and she told me of course it would be an additional $10 I said ok. An hour later I realized that my nails looked horrible! Super thick snd definitely not the result I was expecting- especially when paying this amount! I wasn't happy ( well who would have been??) at this point I got yelled off in front of all the clients and humiliated by a 20 years old girl who zero respect to clients. Never in my 53 years old I was treated like that as a client and as a human being! I asked to pay so can leave - she end up charging me $160!!! Not sure where this price came from and what was the reason she over charged me. After the botched gel manicure I received the day before my wedding, Bellacures reached out to me in an effort to fix it. I am so glad they did, because I went back and got a perfect, beautiful new manicure done just in time for the holidays. I think hopefully the results after my first visit were just an anomaly. I didn't like the chairs that were dirty however the salon finally was revamped with new plush chairs, planters on the wall, and a new huge arrangement of polishes. I came here because I needed a pedicure and my main salon was closed. I don't understand how you charge $30 for a pedicure and put my feet in a plastic bucket. It's dirty in there, the floors had garbage laying everywhere. No one helped me to put on the foam sandals, I had to find them myself. As soon as my pedicure was over I was ignored. I love Bellacures. Lynn does wonders, she always does a great pedicure and massage. This place has gotten much nicer over the last year. They now have a flat screen tv which is nice if I wanna watch tv while getting my treatment. They also have recently remodeled the store and constantly continuing to better the store. They have new packets for their manicure and pedicures which I personally like worrying about hygienic cleanliness. It's definitely a little on the pricer side, but they are worth every penny! She ended up getting gel on her nails, and I got some sort of crazy pedicure with a ton of scrubs and massage. I used to go to pure nails, but they recently closed down. I decided to give them a try and walked in after getting my juice from next door. I took a brochure and said I will try them next time. I called in on a Friday afternoon hoping to get my nails done for a event and luckily was able to get in! They took care of me so well! The front desk girls were pleasant, offered to help me pick my color for my event, offered me water, and then I sat in a big comfy chair while getting my nails done. The manicurists did such a good job massaging me that I ended up adding extra time, and fell asleep. The manicure was $25 dollars plus an extra $10 dollars for a 10 minute massage, and with tip all around ran me $45 dollars. It definitely is more pricey than my previous nail salon, however I have to say Im on my 7th day of a regular manicure and I have very minimal chips! I visited this establishment with my bestie for a regular Mani and pedi! I emphasize regular since I am an avid gel mani and pedi type of girl! To start off with staff, they need to train their staff on customer service! This place blows in that department! Essentially I ended up paying $110 for French mani and pedi for them to put less nail polish on my nails than a regular manicure and on top of it to do a sloppy job! The icing on the top was the nail technician gave me attitude when I asked her to fix the sloppy work especially for the price I paid!! This is definitely a BUYER BEWARE establishment!! read more
