I was contacted by Yanna, the store manager, after publishing my prior post. She offered a complimentary mani pedi to remedy my complaints. I have to say, their customer service is top notch. I really felt like they took care of my concerns. Yes, I will definitely go back. Original post: I'm so disappointed with my service today. They rushed and didn't do a wholesome job. My nails are not even, not all the cuticles were taken off... This was my last time giving them a try. Their services keep on dropping and for their price point, I expect a lot more. I will not come back. read more

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. I have seen multiple nail techs and have been beyond satisfied the customer service has always top notch. The manager Yanna is fabulous, she does her job well. The salon just runs so smooth and calm when she's there. I really really love this place, even though the price is slightly higher it's definitely worth it. read more

I used to go to pure nails, but they recently closed down. I decided to give them a try and walked in after getting my juice from next door. I took a brochure and said I will try them next time. I called in on a Friday afternoon hoping to get my nails done for a event and luckily was able to get in! They took care of me so well! The front desk girls were pleasant, offered to help me pick my color for my event, offered me water, and then I sat in a big comfy chair while getting my nails done. The manicurists did such a good job massaging me that I ended up adding extra time, and fell asleep. The manicure was $25 dollars plus an extra $10 dollars for a 10 minute massage, and with tip all around ran me $45 dollars. It definitely is more pricey than my previous nail salon, however I have to say Im on my 7th day of a regular manicure and I have very minimal chips! You get what you pay for, can't wait to come back for a mani and pedi! read more

I had a pedicure today in Studio City. It was fabulous! Great massage! Added an extra service which felt great! Appreciate the cleanliness and friendly manicurist! read more

I visited this establishment with my bestie for a regular Mani and pedi! I emphasize regular since I am an avid gel mani and pedi type of girl! To start off with staff, they need to train their staff on customer service! This place blows in that department! Essentially I ended up paying $110 for French mani and pedi for them to put less nail polish on my nails than a regular manicure and on top of it to do a sloppy job! The icing on the top was the nail technician gave me attitude when I asked her to fix the sloppy work especially for the price I paid!! This is definitely a BUYER BEWARE establishment!! read more

This is the best nail experience I have had in a long time! Everyone is so kind and respectful! The measures they are taking to keep everyone safe is beyond anything I have seen! They take your temperature when you come in. If your temperature is a little high they ask you to wait outside for a few minutes to try again (allowing you time to cool off from your walk). As soon as your temperature is in the appropriate range, they ask you to wash your hands. Everyone is masked and spaced appropriately. You don't touch colors anymore to avoid extra hands touching things. Everything is sanitized and wiped down, including the pillows and chairs with a blue light wand. I will be back and tell everyone I know about my experience! Such a great place! read more

Hands down best nail salon I've been too. Service is top notch. Ultra professional very courteous. Everyone is so warm from the second you enter. Made an appointment for my wife and myself for a mani and pedi and when we arrived ultra warm invite and nice smile from the receptionist. The lady help my wife and I were so nice, amazing massage. They did such a nice and clean job. Price was very reasonable specially for the service. Will be back for sure. Thanks Ladies :) read more

There are about two dozen nail salons closer to where I live but I keep coming back to Bellacures. No one else has been able to earn my loyalty. You can't beat the quality of the products they use and their staff is all super sweet and friendly. It's better than a trip to the spa for me. I often splurge on a pedicure with a scrub and hot towel wrap. It's the best! read more

Just had a lovely holiday daughter/mother pampering experience here. We had made an appointment for 3pm (which is a perfect time since the salon wasn't busy and you can find street parking). We were greeted and had time to pick our colors. The two technicians that did my daughter's hands were very friendly, professional and meticulous and even offered her extras. She ended up doing a blueberry hand scrub. My technicians again were patient, took their time and very meticulous. I got gels and a special pedicure that included a 10 minute massage and lots of lotions and potions. Amy was my pedicurist and I will definitely be booking her again. Overall my daughter and I had a nice little break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and we left with some fabulous nails for the holiday. read more

I have been coming here now for a year and love it. The prices are high but between the high quality polishes- and ample choices, very professional, helpful and friendly staff, I find it worth it. Well, after hearing good things about this place I was excited to get a pedicure. I just left. The girl that did my pedicure finished my pedicure in 25 minutes. She barley pushed my cuticles, cut & cleaned my toes. She asked if I wanted callus and I said no, but I'll do paraffin. Paraffin went on my feet for 5 minutes (usually 10-15 minutes), cleaned the wax up and painted my nails. I actually even said that was the fasted pedicure ever. My husband said how long do they usually take and I told him at least 45 minutes. My husband got a mani and his mani took longer. He got a scrub (the girl asked him). After all done he said why don't you get a scrub and I was done. Then my girl says would you like one? I said no, you're done. Anyways, I told the girls up front and they just said sorry. read more

My coworker was raving about this place. I came in and had Pure do both my hands and feet. She worked quick, but not too quickly. I picked a nice red color, the woman at the front desk helped me select the essie "twisted" bottles as she said because the formula helps the polish stay on longer. I thought it was just something they were saying to make me feel better as regular polish doesn't normally last on my nails more than 24 hours, but to surprise it lasted for 4 almost 5 days which is a record! The services were pampering even though I didn't upsell. Over all it was a great experience, the prices are slightly higher than other salons I've visited, but I guess you get what you pay for. 5 stars from me! read more

The manicures are SUCH poor quality. Absolutely disappointed. Also, they didn't use ANY sunscreen before putting my hands inside the tanning machines. My fingers are all tanned. And my nails are all chipped within an hour of it. I had to keep giving instructions for her to do it the right way. She kept redoing it - my manicure took an hour. They charged me $50 for my gel manicure. I was never told that removal would cost an extra $15. Also, the clean up was unbelievably subpar and mediocre. I do regular gel manicures and I usually pay less than half the price for insanely good quality manicures. We wanted to try something new. Unfortunately, I'm not coming back here and neither are any of my girlfriends (they saw my nails and decided never to visit here). My nails and both hands look HORRIBLE. I have to redo. I'm weeping. Wish I could request my money back. Complete rip-off. Stay away. read more

I drove all the way out there to get a birthday mani/pedi. I showed the receptionist the gift card I had received some time back for a pedicure, and she said for me to give it to my manicurist when I was done. The mani/pedi was fine. I like that they use new files and tools for each customer. But I find their use of individual packets of lotion and scrubs completely wasteful. Seeing as how whatever isn't used (which can be a lot) is simply thrown away after. When I was finished, I went to pay, and they wouldn't accept my gift card. Apparently, since they changed their system, they couldn't find it. I was then told that I would have to go to their website in order for me to get assistance. I did that. They asked for more information. I gave it to them, but haven't received any further correspondence from them. I wish the receptionist would've told me before I preceded with the service that they wouldn't accept the gift card (which by law, they should have). I would've gone somewhere else. $73 + tip for a mani/pedi is excessive. I could've gone to my usual spot, sat in a massage chair and could've gotten more service for half the money. If I could, I would've given 0 stars. read more

I just moved into the area, and decided to go get my nails done once and OMG I wish I found this place before. Most of the nail salons I've visited in Ventura are filthy and have those nasty germ spa baths. So I searched online for a hygienic nail salon, and came across Bellacures. I went one morning after going to PLATEFIT to workout and came in for a pedicure. I felt super bad coming in for a treatment after a workout, but I'm on tight schedule. The girl who did my pedicure actually rubbed my feet for more than 2 seconds like other nail salons would've, and I ended up signing myself up for 20 more minutes (at a dollar a minute, why not?). Will definitely do that after my platefit classes because it worked out perfectly! Thanks Bellacures, you're the bestest! read more

went yesterday for a nail appointment, scheduled a dip powder fill + design. everyone was very friendly and the woman who did my nails was very nice. but unfortunately my appointment was not what i expected at all and the communication at this salon is not very good. the woman who did my nails had no idea what i booked the appointment for and ended up doing her own thing and just put gel on my nails, while she was doing so i told her i was supposed to get a dip fill and she said "no one said that so i put gel" and at this point the gel was on my nails and it was too late but they knew that's what i booked it for. then i showed her the design i wanted and asked if she could do that, she said "yes" and my nails honestly turned out so so messy, she should've said no if she couldn't do it. it turned out to be very expensive ($110) and not worth it at all and honestly would like a refund. :( read more

I have been getting manicures for over 30 years. This is the first time that I spent $80 on a manicure/pedicure and the manicure lasted exactly 48 hours. I got the manicure on Thursday night and by Saturday night the nail polish began to peel off. By Sunday, it was peeling off on every finger. I called Bellacures on Monday to tell them what happened. I asked for them to simply reapply the polish on my nails. The girl who answered the phone said she would talk to her manager. Well, it has been three days and I have heard nothing. Do not waste your money at this ridiculously overpriced nail salon that rushes the manicure application and provides a sub par service. read more

6/5/17 OUTSTANDING!!! I have had hundreds of mani/pedis over the years at salons around the US and abroad. This particular salon was like being at a spa! They have all new very comfy furniture, the salon was immaculate & the people that work here are consistently nice & their services are outstanding! I met the salon manager today, Yanna, and can tell you that she truly cares about every single client and will go above & beyond to ensure you have the best possible experience. Even the music here today was total Zen, which contributed to the spa like experience. I also loved the new TV on the back wall telling the clients about the variety of services! I was only scheduled to have a regular mani/pedi today, however, after seeing the different treatments on that screen, I wound up getting a few more luxurious treatments (see below for details!) For my pedicure today, a lovely woman by the name of Pure was my pedicure technician. My pedicure services were so relaxing and included: the best callous removal i've experienced at a nail salon, followed by an orange mango salt scrub, followed by mint clay mask, followed by paraffin wax and a 10 minute massage. I highly recommend Pure.. she is as special as her name! For my mani, another lovely woman by the name of Tran did my manicure. Very relaxing mani followed by an walnut creamy scrub, followed by mint clay mask, followed by paraffin wax and a 10 minute massage. I am so happy to be living back in The Shoaks again and am thrilled to have been referred to this nail salon/spa! I highly recommend this salon! 5/27/17 2nd visit.. excellent service, people here are super nice my previous review about the furniture etc, was just bad timing. 5/15/17 this was my first visit to bellacures.. i loved making my appointment on line! i had nancy for my pedi & lee for my mani.. they were both excellent!!! read more

I'm sad I even have to write this review but as my mom is STILL dealing with an infection from our appointment here in February I just have to. She got a pedicure and the technician was so rough that my mom was in such pain she couldn't speak. She went to the doctor, took antibiotics, and had to have a procedure done last week. Our experience was really negative and when I just asked to file a nail that was uneven I was told "your nail is uneven because your finger is crooked". I've never heard that one before and my nails have never been so crooked as they we were after leaving Bellacures. They were so grown out just a couple of days after that I had to go get them done again a week after. They were really in a rush even though they weren't full and no one was waiting. Overall, just not a great day at Bellacures. read more

They don't have the fancy spas for your feet. If you get a pedicure they put your feet in a tub of water placed on the ground in front of your chair. Seems a little expensive ($45) to put my feet in a tub. The basic manicure is $25 and is fine. Staff were nice and they take walk-ins. Pros: - good service - services are done well Cons: - small parking lot - pricey read more

I love this shop. I was a Pasadena customer and when it closed I decided to try the Studio City location. This is our favorite place to come for mani/pedis. The shop is very clean, I know the Nail implements are always sterilized. I also love the comfortable chairs instead of the spa chairs. I ALWAYS make my appointment with Tony. He is wonderful and does a perfect job. I know it takes more time but he does both, my mani & pedi. He really is great! I would follow him anywhere. read more

$100 bucks for a gel mani that chips three days later isn't worth it to me. Johnny the technician was nice but didn't know how to do a basic French tip. How dissappointing. Toes are chipped too. I wouldn't mind if I was washing a lot of dishes but I was on a trip relaxing and nails were chipping. read more

I have been getting the quick dry nail polish which is $10 additional. I went in today and for the second time in a row, my nails are covered in dots. I usually do neutral and my last manicure didn't bother me as much, but when I pointed it out to the receptionist she asked me condescendingly what she expects them to do. I would have appreciated deducted the extra $10 as I now have a manicure I am embarrassed about and looks like crap! I also feel like the chairs are dirty they gross me out. read more

I went to Bellacures with my mother the other day. I wanted a gel mani and regular pedi and my mom wanted a regular mani pedi. It seemed like a nice place once we walked in with its modern decor. It looked pleasant. They used an old nail polish bottle for my mother's nails because they did not have her desired color. My mother had her lady come back to fix her pedicure after it was not painted properly and nail polish was not cleaned off the edges of her nails. Even after the lady corrected it, it still did not look great. The top coat was not applied evenly and you can distinctly see the area of the nails that were not covered by the top coat. Our nails were painted unevenly. Because the nail polish was old, bubbles and dust spots are apparent because we chose light polish colors. This was totally not worth the amount we paid ($135.00). We usually go elsewhere for a fraction of the price and come home satisfied. The employees were nice but we were hoping for better results. Come to this morning, my pedicure has chipped on both big toe nails and I am truly disappointed. I wish I could upload photos because I would. My gel manicure is fine, but I usually get it done for $30 rather than $50 at Bellacures. It do not think we will be returning to this place. Our phone number linked to the account is (818)2819009. These photos were taken the day after we got our nails done. read more

I went here as my regular manicurist elsewhere was sick. While they are clean, they up charge you for everything!!! I was desperate as I was going to the east coast for a wedding. The manicurist scrubbed my heal so hard it was raw and I hobbled for a week while I was away. I was in extreme pain. I also don't like that all the manicurists talk to each other and not to you. I took my girlfriend to get some relaxing time in. She had her niece with her and all of the technicians were super helpful while she was getting her nails done. I was grabbing a juice next door when i noticed the nail salon next door. I thought at first ill check it out to get my mom a gift card for the holidays, but i loved the atmosphere and vibe. The chairs are large, and for being a larger dude its hard to go to the nail salons with the uncomfortable tub chairs. I asked if they had any time available and got a mani/ pedi. The technicians were nice. Being a guy i have hands that are dry AF! They suggested some sort of monthly concoction that they have, i agreed. I stumbled on this nail salon on the way out of my Dry Bar appointment several weeks ago. It looked nice, so I thought I would treat myself to an impromptu manicure. No such luck, they were booked all day. (on a tuesday afternoon?!) Anyway, I took a card and the next time I made an appointment at Dry Bar I decided to call them and make a mani/pedi appointment. Once again, they were not able to get me in at the time I wanted. (even though it was 4 days out!) I thought that was really weird, as most nail salons can take you on a walk-in basis, but I figured it must mean that this place is really great! On my 3rd attempt I was able to secure an appointment. Whoot-hoo! Well, the excitement ended there. I went in for my appointment, was greeted by an unenthusiastic employee and led to a chair. They preformed a standard mani/pedi. Nothing special. The cost was slightly more than my local nail spa and slightly more attractive ambiance. I would say overall, this place is not worth an extra drive or the inconvenience of waiting for an appointment. Its not bad, but its not great. Next... read more

Just went to Bellacures last night. Here are my thoughts on the place. THE BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH: I purchased a Bellacures gift certificate for 175.00 from Gilt City LA to use for my party. The certificate was good for 10 people for a basic pedicure. The normal price for a basic pedicure is 25.00. I ended up having 15 guests with the 5 extra people were to be charged at the 25.00 price. I was sent an email that stated that I would have to pay for all 15 if I reserved that many. Two girls from my party were unable to attend last minute so we ended up with only 13. I'm fine with honoring contract terms but I wish they had given me something extra for not having had two people show up. I paid 50.00 for those two guests which seems like a lot, considering no sevice was rendered. Bellacures would have had the same number of techincians there to do the pedis and no one from the street walked in the entire time my party was there. Good thing I did not pay an extra 100.00 to "reserve" the salon exclusively. Takehome, if you plan to have an event there, guarantee less than your number to not be liable for something you don't use. Additionally there is a 20% mandatory cash only gratuity at the full service price with all parties so each technician got 5.00 per head that night for the 13 pedis given. THE PEDICURES: The pedicures were ok, for 25.00 you get about a 30 minute pedi which was so so at best. I guess I was expecting more at such a price point. If anything the pedi was basic, you get a cutdown, file, little scrub, short massage and polish. More like an express pedi at high end spas. Most nail shops give you an hour pedi for less than 25.00 with hot towels and a longer scrub/massage. Bellacures has those but will charge you extra. Also, no spa tubs here, you get your pedi in a little footbath that is lined. At best the 25.00 pedi is adequate but nothing to write home about. THE FACILITY: Brand new and very clean. Nicely decorated and the staff is polite. The chairs are super comfy but the foot bath pedi tub was just a bowl of water. No massage chairs or spa pedi tubs. The have an excellent selection of Essie nail polishes in a well organized display stand. Parking available on the back area after 4 pm otherwise its street parking or valet. OVERALL: Glad I got a the Gilt City LA certificate but I would not go back. The staff was helpful with the party details and helping set up the food and drinks but unless I wanted to throw a party, I would not come here on a regular basis. BTW, I am a real customer and I seriously believe that Bianca A who gave the review with 5 stars works for Bellacures or is the manager for the Studio City location. read more
