Such a beautiful salon! I had such a lovely experience. I was having breakfast with my mother next door at le pain and she told me about this salon we decided of to get pedicures afterwards. The girls at the desk had been very friendly they offered my mother and I drinks. Just look at how cute their coffee station is! Overall experience was 10/10 the technicians took their time and it was so calming. I almost fell asleep in the couch chairs! Amateur Hour? I haven't been to this nail salon in years but was in a bind, so thought I'd give it another shot. Now I remember why I never went back. My manicure looks like it was done by a toddler. Cuticles were left dry and jagged, nails cut and filed unevenly & the paint job was atrocious. I would've done a better job if I did it myself. To charge as much as you do for a BASIC manicure, it's laughable. For my pedicure, another tech wanted to use a file on me that was not disposable & clearly used many times. So in a time where sanitation should be at its highest, she was going to scrub my feet with a file that she used to file dead skin off of someone else's? YUCK. I showed my nails to the front desk - which the girl was lovely, but got a measly 10% off. This should've been free. She did offer to have another tech re-do my nails at no charge, but there's a bad taste in my mouth & won't ever go back. Also, its extremely rude of the two techs to speak in their language the entire time, for obvious reasons. Get it together bellacures. While your at it, maybe repair all the rips and stains on your chairs and stools. read more

Definitely not worth the $80 + tip for a gel mani regular pedi! Extremely overpriced. I don't mind paying a little extra than your average mani pedi if it's really worth every penny and actually lasts. This place is almost a third more expensive than any other nail salon yet the quality of the nails is terrible. I had a gel mani done on Friday (5 days ago) and already the paint is chipping. Usually a gel mani is supposed to last at least 2 weeks. Sometimes my gel manis last even longer! Long story short, this place has a good vibe but because they get so busy at times this may be sacrificing the quality of the work. Maybe it's the quality of the gel polish, not so sure. FYI I didn't contact them regarding this issue, which I assume they would've offered to fix it, but honestly when I'm paying this kind of $, I wouldn't expect to have to go through the inconvenience of coming back and wasting time to have it fixed. In this place there is racism, because I went in work clothes and I did not give the appearance that I had money, the workers did not even want to provide me with samples of the different colors and they did not leave my nails properly, I had that bad experience and I wanted to get up and that they wouldn't do the work anymore but in the end I let someone finish doing my nails and even though they didn't do them well, they knew I was very upset, they They charged $45.00 for the pedicure with regular polish and for the acrylic nails $95.00 in total they charged me $150.00 I think it is the most unpleasant place expensive and very bad work. If -5 stars was an option that would be my rating. My boss loves this place because she goes to a specific person... I came for a regular manicure and pedicure and I'm super upset that I did not receive the same care. I paid the overpriced amount I was charged for the two services but I can't believe the laziness of the woman who did my nails. I was watching the woman next to me do my boss' nails so I noticed that my technician skipped the "base coat" step. I asked if they do a base coat and she said she forgot. She spent hardly any time cleaning up my cuticles and she rushed through the polish application. A different technician fixed one of my nails because the paint looked so bad but the end result when I left the salon was less than impressive. The receptionist didn't seem to concerned with my dissatisfaction. The polish fading and cracked more each day that went by. This place came recommended by a friend. But the experience was subpar. 1. Customer Service - the two highschool or college gals working the desk are incredibly rude. They were on their phones looking at social media. It was my first time there so, I had an appointment and was waiting to be called next. They didn't tell me that you just grab a couch. The two girls also kept calling me by the wrong name. When I went to checkout, I asked if there was a trash can behind them to throw away the cushions that separate your toes when getting a pedicure, and they pointed to the trash can behind them and said "you can throw it away here" ???? 2. This place is just...ugh. My nails look fine, I'll give them that. It's by no means a bad final product. Nice, but not flawless. And the overall experience misses the mark considering their price point. I have been getting gel manicures for nearly 10 years, so I've been to my fair share of nail salons at all different price points. For $125 out the door for a gel mani and regular pedi + tip (20%), I expect a top notch experience. I actually just moved to the area, and that was around what I paid at my old salon that I frequented for nearly 5 years...this place didn't hold a candle to the experience I would get there. - I really hate that they do both services at the same time. It's not relaxing, it makes you feel like you're being rushed through an assembly line. Several times throughout the service I was contorted into awkward positions trying to make sure both techs could do what they needed to do. - I asked them to match my nail color to my toe color and they failed at that very simple request. Details are important when you're at such a high price point. This annoyed me. - During the pedicure, I was asked if I wanted a salt or sugar scrub. I picked the sugar scrub and was then told at checkout that it was an extra cost. Seriously? Your pedicure doesn't include a scrub? Never mind that -- why was I not asked if I wanted to upgrade/pay extra for a scrub? Did NOT appreciate that. I probably would have added it. Just be up front about it. The handful of positives worth mentioning: friendly young ladies at the front desk, ability to make your appointment online and TONS of open availability. Update: the manager reached out almost immediately to schedule a time to redo my nails, which I really appreciate. The tech, Alice, was super sweet and did a really great job. I'll definitely come back as long she's she's there. I keep coming back to this place hoping for a better manicure (since it's so conveniently located near my house) but my gel manicures are worse every time I come. I was also hoping maybe trying a few different technicians would help, but no luck. After my manicure yesterday my nails looks so bad I'm embarrassed for anyone to see them. I think a child could have done a better job. The technician tried to give me a square shape even though I asked her not to. She also commented that my nails look like "baby nail." Then she got distracted and wasn't looking while she was filing off my previous gels and started filing my skin instead. The polish is uneven and all over my cuticles. I first want to say I do like my nails although I think more time could've been taken on them. I'm not sure her name, but the nail tech I got was a bit messy and careless, she did a really good job in the end though. She added too much gel base for the gel x which ended up burning my skin, and she even ripped off a nail without warning me which hurt (not enough for me to complain though). They were applied a little crooked on one hand too. I never even chose the colors I wanted, and she acted annoyed when I asked for a deeper shade. I do think she saw my inspo and knew exactly what to do though. She was very nice and I appreciated her, but overall I didn't feel too attended to. The end result is very pretty if a bit sloppy, but I'm happy with it and she did a great job. The place had a nice vibe and good music, I would totally recommend for simple mannies and if you want gel x with a design just make sure your tech was on board! read more

I came to Team Bellacures with the hope that they could fix a Gel X-gel mani situation for me and was so impressed with the service I received. Back story short, I went to another salon in the area (first mistake) and got my gel-x done and then asked for olive green GEL french tips (second mistake ). I knew that as this girl from the other salon was painting the green that it wasn't the color i wanted but she assured me it would darken with each cure. Ultimately she was wrong and I left the salon hating my nails. So today I called and spoke to Alexis and explained my situation- she was so friendly on the phone and I could tell she really wanted to help me- I wasn't even sure it would even be possible to remove the gel color without ruining the gel-x but she told me to come by and they'd do what they could to help. I arrived and was greeted by Alexis & Christine. They were SO wonderful and helpful- they basically asked what felt like every technician in the salon if they thought it could be done. Even when a few of them said no, Alexis and Christine really stood by and tried again and again- they were even helping me pick a darker color in the event we just had to paint over the green tips. Finally a lovely tech- I feel so awful that I didn't catch her name- agreed and did a phenomenal job removing the awful green color and making them a beautiful neutral "bubble bath"- she even took extra care to adjust the shape of a few wonky nails. I left the salon SO happy. While my nail tech was wonderful and deserves her own five stars- this review is only made possible by the pure support and dedication of Alexis & Christine!! Was here 10 minutes already WITH an appointment and the woman who is supposed to be doing my nails is MIA. Way to treat potential new clients. I literally left the nail salon (Chez Nail Salon) I went to for 5 years because they pulled that crap on me and I was a loyal client. The woman who did my nails at Bel finally showed up after 15 minutes and she did a terrible job. She literally cut into my fingers. I've been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for nearly 10 years. Accidental cuts happen-- BUT ALL 10 FINGERS?! By the time she used alcohol on my hands I was working hard not to scream. My fingers literally burn. NEVER AGAIN. Amy does a magnificent job with my nails every single time. She pays attention to the small details and makes sure that my hands are immaculate. This was my 3rd visit to Bellacures in Studio City. The first 2 visits were wonderful with Julie and Ton. However, I am unhappy with the gel removal and regular manicure from V on Tuesday, 12/7/2021 V was very rough filing my nails and removing the gel polish. I asked V to be gentle because she was squeezing my fingers too hard. My nail beds are still tender. Furthermore, the polish application was very sloppy, as you will see in the attached photos. V used her finger often to remove excess polish instead of the brush with polish remover on it. I did not say anything to the receptionist to avoid a confrontation. She spent an ample amount of time ensuring my nails were the desired shape-- square round which is extremely difficult for nail techs to achieve. I don't like super round nor square nails-- somewhere in between is ideal and I got that at Bellacures. Overall the quality was great. Through the pandemic they always made me feel comfortable and the technicians were always super accommodating with opening the door to air out the salon. My gels always last 2-3 weeks and Kaitlyn is the only one who can ever get my ingrown out. This place is cute and the manicures are solid but not exceptional. They charge SO much money. Their prices are 2-3 times more than the standard salons nearby, I can only imagine for the aesthetics of the salon. They try to up charge you for EVERY thing. Massage, callous scrubbing - these are STANDARD for a $30 pedicure and they are charging double that, then wanting you to pay extra for these things. If I am paying for a $150 mani/pedi it should be a lux experience, no add ons required. A cute salon won't keep people coming back. read more

I went to bellacures studio city in need of a good pamper session. My nail salon that I used to go to made me feel like I was going to a chop shop and would rush my services faster and faster each time. I walked into bellacures and it felt airy and clean, and didn't smell like nail polish and acrylic powder which I really enjoyed. They had a large selection of gel polishes and service add ons, but I didn't feel pressured to upgrade my services. I had Amy for a gel mani, and Yvonne for a pedicure and both were incredible. I can tell the difference in quality of service and products they that they use as my cuticles felt hydrated and my heels were not dried out from the normal callus solution. I had a laser treatment at Skin Laundry and the nurse told me about Bellacures so after treatment, I walked down the street seconds away, and luckily they could fit me in for a gel pedicure with milky scrub, special creams, and paraffin wax. It's a super warm, comfy, friendly, and welcoming place. John did my pedicure and it was heavenly and my feet look and feel heavenly. Days later I had my acrylic gel fills by Evonne, who is a nail genius. They are truly a work of art. I'm so happy with the shape and her work is incredible. Well worth the price! I went for a mani/pedi and had one woman working on my hands and the other on my feet. The whole experience was very rushed and not relaxing at all considering it is supposed to be a relaxing spa-like place. I was not warned from the beginning by the woman doing my nails that I should take my jewelry off because she was going to lotion up my hands and lower arms. So she proceeded to get lotion in all of my rings and bracelets and then roughly massaged it all in crunching all my bracelets together. In addition, she used her lotioned up hand to remove my watch for me and then threw it on my lap. I made a comment that I should have taken everything off before she got lotion on them and she said, "Don't worry, we will wipe with a hot towel." At that point it didn't matter because the hot towel wasn't going to get the lotion out of all the crevices. I also noticed that they try to up-charge you on everything. During my pedicure she asked if I wanted my callous removed and I assumed she meant scrubbed, as places usually include that in the price, but she then said it would be $15 extra. Overall, my mani and pedi look nice, but I won't be going back. I think that getting your nails done is an expensive treat and therefore, the service should be nice and relaxing, not rushed. read more

I've been looking for a place that doesn't rush my nails and actually paints the whole nail. I ended up coming in and getting a gelicure manicure which is $50 bucks, and is a little more pricier than my old nail salon, however I had to post a review because Im on the third week with no chips or peels. I throughly enjoyed my mani-pedi. They actually shaped my nails exactly as I asked. CoVid19 precautious were great! Masks and temp. They asked me to wash my hands before I checked in. Then they gloved up and physically picked up the color I chose. The salon was clean, bright and airy. The chairs...plump n comfy. Everyone was friendly and CoVid19 masked/gloved.
