Bellacures in Studio City is by far the best nail salon in the city. I've been to the one on Robertson and in Brentwood and this one is by far my favorite. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I always see Amy and she's gotten my nails so much stronger. Every time I leave, my nails are perfect and last a much longer time. read more

I go into my appt waiting about 20min after my appt time for someone to start on my full set. Kim started my full set, after she puts on my nails I notice that one of my nails is completely crooked it's slanting to the left and I ask her if she can file it to make it even she tells me that it's just my finger, that's how my finger is!! I tell her that it's not my finger it's not like that and if she can please fix it. She fixes it and then they charge me 5 extra dollars for something she messed up on in the first place! And it's still slants!! I've gotten a better full set done else where for half the price. In my opinion it's not worth it here. read more

Recently went here for the first time. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The chairs weren't the traditional kind, these were uber comfy almost sink in and fall asleep type chairs! (Apparently some people have lol)! I had a pedicure by Bobbi (sp?) and she did a fantastic job! She is very sweet, and very thorough. I couldn't resist getting a ten minute neck and should massage by Tu (sp?). Omg he is amazing. If he does full hour I want to sign up! I was very happy with my first experience and it will indeed not be my last. The parking is very congested being it is smack in the middle of cafe's and juicers but there is a valet , you just gotta be careful with impatient Ventura Blvd drivers. read more

This place has giant armchairs which is a bit weird but ok. Has a bright uplifting ambiance and is a large open space so it doesn't feel stuffy and cramped like some of these places do. Mani-Pedi was very fast, would have preferred a longer massage on the feet/lower legs. read more

I've never had a better manicure and pedicure before. I was driving being new to LA I saw this shop called Bellacures a mom in my mommy and me class had told me about it and I was so happy to find it. The technicians were so sweet and so gentle. The choices of colors were probably the best I've seen and I get gels they look so good and you would never know that they are gels. I would highly recommend Bellacures even when you check in and out everyone is so wonderful and the place is so clean too. Yay Bellacures it's starting to feel like home. read more

Yeeaahhh I don't think I will come to this place again. Two stars is still a bit much for this place. I went here on a whim, had a hair appointment and just decided to give Bellacures a try. Well, I go in and the prices are INSANE! I just decided to get a normal pedicure ($30), the $30 includes a nail trim, cleaning and the polish. If you want to have the foot scrub (something that's included in every single pedicure I have ever gotten at other establishments)is an extra $15. Long story short, I ended up paying $45 for a SIMPLE pedicure and when I got home I realized that the nails weren't trimmed evenly. So yeah, won't be coming back and don't recommend this place considering the fact that everywhere else I can get a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for $55, including all the moisturizers, scrubs, and everything else for no extra cost. read more

I had actually gone to Bellacures for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was VERY impressed with my manicure! Being on a budget, it's rare that I treat myself to a professional mani, but decided to splurge. I thought it was one of the best mani's I'd ever had, and it lasted more than a week, so I was quite happy. And it looks so much better than what I do at home, that I do plan to go back. So, when I was getting ready to write this review, and I read all the others, I was really surprised to see the less than stellar comments. All I can say is that my experience was great. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM THEM! I got two gift cards (from different people) and when I went to use them the receptionist told me the system was new and they could not find them, that I'd have to email info@bellacures.com. I did and first they told me that the gift cards had already been used (but there is no way that they could have because I had them in my wallet since I received them), when I asked them when and where they were used they had no idea. On top of that the woman I emailed with told me they should have been able to use use them with their new system, while the receptionist wouldn't even try. I feel like I got the run around, and differing information. Also, the place stunk like weird Vietnamese food and was ridiculously over priced. I could have paid the same at Happy Nails and at least had a massage chair! read more

Have been a client for over five years and generally like coming here! Convenience is a factor, as it's only five minutes from my apartment. Also I'm super OCD so I appreciate the sanitation, etc. The technicians generally do a great job, unless things are insanely busy. The only complaint I have is the attitude of the reception desk. They are generous with clients but often rude to the technicians. How this is acceptable to the owner is beyond me. Omg. no!!!! Just NO!! How does this place have 4 stars? How does it even have any? First time and last time visitor. Went today at 3pm with my daughter for mani and pedi for both. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that I called to make an appointment and they had them avail. The 4 people working on me and my daughter were some of the most unfriendly humans I've encountered in LA. only one of them (the guy doing my nails) spoke English. The others - not at all. The guy doing my mani filed so hard he cut me. (See pics) the lady doing my pedi did such a bad polish job I have multiple nails half polished. They only want to sell sell sell and try to get you to buy services like scrubs and massage and are relentless is their pursuit in trying to con you into it. I did agree to a callus removal which they charge an extra $15 which is absurd. The chairs - while somewhat comfortable and totally impractical for short girls. In order for my feet to be in the water I had to sit at the very edge of the chair as they are quite deep which is not at all relaxing. With a basic pedi I got no massage whatsoever. Neither did my daughter who was laughed at by ladies and mocked when she nicely asked them to be gentle. Poor thing is 11 and almost cried having her services the ladies were so rude. I don't say this often. Or ever really. I hated this place and everything about it. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. It's awful. Overpriced. Unfriendly and the people working there are unqualified. read more

Terrible experience. Went in for a gel mani & regular pedi, they applied the wrong color to my friend's nails twice, didn't listen to the shape that I wanted, didn't trim my cuticles so a day after getting them done it looks like I already have a grow-out line. Their callous remover treatment was an extra $15 and consisted of treatments that would have been included in any other salon's pedicure (ie. exfoliating). They put the wrong top coat on my friend's nails after she requested a matte top coat several times, and my top coat doesn't cover the full nail in some spots. To top it off, this is the most expensive mani/pedi I've ever had and I've never been more dissatisfied with the results. read more

I went to Bellacures because i got a gift certificate to the salon. My first impression was great. It was so clean and roomy. The chairs are so comfy and big that both my 2 year old daughter and i fit perfectly inside. All the staff is very friendly and speak perfect English and the receptionist is very sweet and friendly. All the tools are prepacked and sterile, they even use a new nail file for every client. Nothing is reused. I have now been a regular customer at Bellacures, ever since my first visit i have not gone anywhere else. My nails always look perfect, the nail polish is new and fresh and does not chip after a day ( not like the diluted polish u get at other salons). The salon is always clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. I love it so much that i drive all the way from Northridge to get my nails done. read more
