this is so embarrassing but I've literally been coming to their happy hour at least once a week. Everything on the menu is $8 which is unheard of in sf for actual plates of food and a nice cocktail. The food is solid, nothing mind blowing but for $8, I am more than happy. You can't go wrong with any of the food orders. The star of the show is 100% the cocktails. They are cute, flavors are thoughtful and balanced, and strong like 2 of them and I'm feeling it. The girls who work here are always very friendly, the ambiance is such a vibe. The music can be a bit loud but I haven't had an issue with being able to hear my friends. Could not recommend this spot more!!

I know Bergerac holds many memories for locals like us but Bella is a perfect rebrand. Immaculate vibes all around - easily the newest hot lounge spot in SF, it's only a matter of time before it's packed out every night. Truly feels like you're walking into an Amalfi coast getaway. The star is truly their happy hour from 5-7pm. Food isn't standard bad food, but a GOOD italian mix. Range of appetizers and pizzas if you're feeling hungry hungry. I come on Thursdays for Dr. G! The music is afro house/afrobeats which this city definitely needs. Perfect for dates, groups, there's comfortable seating for all amounts of people! Drinks alone are amazing -- mocktails good as well! Sydney is the best server, so attentive, has the best recommendations and her hospitality is unmatched to other lounges and bars we frequent. I seek no other friendly face whenever I'm here!

If you are looking for the perfect evening out in San Francisco, look no further. The vibe here is perfectly dialed in--disco ball spinning, house music off the decks, amazing food and drinks. You can just tell that a lot of thought went into curating not just the menu but the entire experience. Bella also sits right below Audio, a powerhouse of a club that you absolutely need to check out as well if you haven't already. The menu here has really great shareable options and everything we tried was a hit. The panini el pollo (with probably the best aioli I've had) and pizzette marinara were my standouts. The complimentary fusilli fritti is so yummy and seasoned so well. All the drinks we had were incredible, but I highly recommend the sole mio and bacio di lamponi, my absolute favorites which I'll be thinking about for a while. The great energy and the timeless feel of the place really adds to the whole experience. Everyone was so welcoming too, which made our time that much more special. Definitely recommend stopping by whether it's a date night, girls' night, or just a fun evening out. Bella is the move.

Got here a little after 9 on a Saturday night and it was quiet until about 10 when there was eventually a huge group of young people on the dj'd dance floor and hanging around with drinks. Cute atmosphere and house music-esque dj who doesn't take requests if you were wondering (all good, but it would be nice!). Got the traveler for a gin cocktail which was mostly gin and a bit too strong for me even though I am a gin lover. The Pinot noir which I got after was much better.

The best happy hour deal I've seen in the city! Really cool vibe and good drinks and appetizers. The service was a little slow but we got there close to open with a lot of other people so I think they just needed time to catch up. I'll definitely be back again to try out more of the menu or stay longer for the DJ set!

    *Happy Hour* Tuesday - Friday, 5 pm - 7 pm...EVERYTHING is $8!

Let's be forreal now... These days, there's nothing *happy* about most happy hour "deals". - Reduced food portions. - Deals limited to the bar only. - Discount only applies if you pay with cash. One trendy resto I've been to charges $21 for a gin & tonic during HH. Not to mention, after a couple of cocktails, your budget goes out the door and you're ready to throw down $300 for that tomahawk! J/k! And, then there's Bella (same owner as Audio and Palm House). A thoughtful happy hour made for this economy. On Tuesday - Friday from 5 pm- 7 pm, EVERYTHING on the menu is $8....signature cocktails and food (small plates). Outside of HH, it's $15 which is still affordable. They even give you free cheese snacks for the drunchies. D R I N K S * Bella's: Tito's vodka w/ dry vermouth, lemon twist (HH-$8/Reg-$15) Their take on a Vesper, smooth and hella stiff, not too sweet. They even give you a side car so it's 1.5 martini. F O O D * Zucchine Fritte: Fried zucchini, pecorino, mint, lemon, pesto aioli (HH-$8/Reg/$15) * Shrimp Cocktail Classico w/ calabrian chili, cherry tomato, horseradish, basil, chive (HH-$8/Reg/$15) * Insalata BLT w/ smoked beets, tomato, pickled onion, frisée (HH-$8/Reg/$15) Best item? The Insalata BLT. Not something I would usually order esp in this wintry weather but this came highly recommended by our server. The beets were flavorful with a smoky nuance akin to bacon. The puffed crackers were a great vessel that gave a nice crunchy texture contrast. S E R V I C E Warm hospitality (we were the only ones there at the time). Brenda, our server and bartender was kind, personable, and attentive. Even offered water to TT and Biscotti. Owner made rounds to check in and thanked us for coming as we were leaving. A M B I A N C E Dark and moody with vintage touches, lounge seating, three tables, and bar seating. Great sound system (Audio nightclub is above) bumping house music. Overall, happy to see Bergerac rebrand to a budget-friendly spot to get your drank on. This is going to be my new go-to spot for HH!

Pandan Vieux Carré ($22) By far my favorite cocktail of the night - very well balanced, spirit forward but also bright and silky. A5 Wagyu & Black Truffle Old Fashioned ($25) This was also fantastic, rich and buttery old fashioned with truffle accents. The A5 Wagyu is sourced from the Niku Steakhouse local butcher shop! Ube Cheesecake ($19) Wonderful dessert cocktail to finish the night. We didn't have time to try the Escape Room connected to the Speakeasy, but we'll be back! There are two rooms, one in the front with a puzzle theme, and another in the back with a Middle Earth (Lord of the Rings) vibe. Staff was friendly and took time to explain the clever menu to us!

Lore's Wonderland escape room was a fun and delightfully whimsical experience. **This review is…read moremainly for the escape room, as we did not order any additional drinks outside of the escape room.** THE SPACE // Lore Speakeasy and Escape Room has cool themed decor everywhere, from the dimly-lit speakeasy/bar room in front, to the Middle Earth/Lord of the Rings-themed board game room, to the individual bathrooms, and of course the escape room's multiple Alice in Wonderland-themed rooms. Clearly a lot of effort went into building these rooms and evoking a certain vibe for each. THE ESCAPE ROOM // The puzzles in the escape room varied in difficulty - some required us to think a bit more, some required our observational skills to work harder, and others required a light level of physical skill/movement. We were perplexed a few times but never got stuck for too long, as the White Rabbit (played by Phoenix, the live actor/puzzle master) would jump in occasionally to provide clues over the speaker or in person. It took us about 1 hr 20 min to finish the entire escape room; I thought the pacing was good. THE [ESCAPE ROOM] DRINKS // Lore's escape room experience comes with "a flight of themed cocktails or mocktails, including "potion"-style drinks that are integrated into the experience as you progress", per the website. We got to choose one cocktail/mocktail option (Korean Cold Noodles) from a list on the website, and the other two drinks are pre-selected to supposedly fit into the Wonderland theme, with the flavors described online as "berry" and "peach". You can get both cocktail and mocktails for your party, in case some people want alcohol and others don't. We all enjoyed the flavor of the Korean Cold Noodles cocktail, which was refreshing and surprisingly a bit minty in the mocktail version. However, we didn't like the two other two pre-selected themed drinks as much. The "berry" drink gave us cherry cough syrup vibes, and the cocktail version of it was quite strong. The "peach" mocktail drink reminded me of canned fruit syrup; we also were missing the two cocktail versions, though we decided not to ask for them as the mocktail version already was less than impressive. One other missed expectation here was the size of the drinks that we received in the escape room. We were expecting full-sized cocktails, like what they serve in the speakeasy in front. Instead, we found out that the drinks are served in small "vials". Given the size of the drinks in the escape room, combined with us not even enjoying two out of the three drinks, I would preferred to go through the escape room without the drinks at all, and likely pay a bit less for the escape room then. OVERALL // I'd still recommend the escape room as a good one-time experience with a date/friends/family. Just don't expect too much from the included themed drinks! The speakeasy drinks on the main menu do sound unique/tasty, so I might come back again to try those sometime.

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

With the prices they charge, they should already be able to do that, though. I read an article about this fee with many different names and I would rather pay a bit higher of a price and know the employees were taken care of than be surprised by this fee later. Two sandwich breakfasts, a mocha and a danish on top of tax and their healthy sf fee was $63. Steep for the quality we got. Won't be back.
