It took forever to get drinks refilled. I asked 25 minutes before we left and never got another. Once we finished eating our waitress didn't come back to the table. We had to ask others for drinks and the check. We originally went to play bingo. It was fun but didn't start on time and went all the way to 10pm.

The menu has a nice variety of options listing hot and cold appetizers, main entrees, sides and desserts. They specialize in Uzbek Cuisine which is quite different in some areas, but also similar to other cuisines with certain dishes. There are a variety of dumpling entrees and also fried dough/fried pocket items. One of the favorites among my family is the fried pelmeni which are small, beef filled dried delights. Perfectly fried, bite sized and packed with flavor. They are served with sour cream and a sweet chili sauce, but you don't really need any dipping sauce because they are so good on their own. Another appetizer we love is the cheburek, a beef filled fried pastry similar to something like an empanada. For entrees, I've had the Uzbek plov several times. Rice with carrots raisins and lamb. The lamb is tender and perfectly seasoned. It is one of those dishes that I am stuffed but can't stop eating because it is so delicious. The pelmeni soup is another highlight. Perfect for a cold day or to give you an ultimate comfort food meal. Service is usually pretty attentive (although if you end up in the extra room it will be on the slower side but still good). There is street parking right in front of the restaurant, but if there isn't space, there is also a municipal lot about a block away. The one down side is that if they are busy, it can take quite awhile to get food. But the wait is worth it! If you are looking to try something new and different, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

And both of our side salads were drenched with dressing and must've sat in the back for at least 20 min. to the point the lettuce was soggy. I don't know if this was just an for the kitchen staff but food wise was not the best especially for a $45 bill!

Anna told us that everyone needed to have their ID scanned. We had absolutely no issue with that and were happy to comply. The issue was that no one communicated when we were seated that a member of our party arriving later could potentially be prevented from joining us. What was most frustrating was Anna's response when we tried to explain the situation. She seemed completely disinterested in understanding what had happened or finding a reasonable solution, and appeared far more focused on managing the football event than addressing the experience of customers who were already seated inside. Had someone simply told us when we arrived, "Your entire party needs to be here before the event starts or they may not be allowed in," we would have made other arrangements and had our family dinner elsewhere. I understand needing crowd-control and ID policies during a major event. What I don't understand is seating a family for dinner without communicating those restrictions, then refusing to allow the final member of that already-seated party to join them and showing little interest in addressing the situation when it became a problem. A really disappointing way to handle what should have been a straightforward family dinner.
