I bought my car from Bell Honda and loved it, but I had a bad experience at Bell Honda Service Center. First, the services they charge are super overpriced. I had a coupon, and I had to remind the person helping me, Daisy, three times to add it on before she finally did. Additionally, I was told they would order me a Lyft and call me once it was here, and I waited about 40 minutes at their center before I realized they probably never called it in the first place. Daisy did forget to order it, and I did have to wait another 20 minutes before the Lyft got there. She was very apologetic about it though, which I appreciated. I did remember while in the Lyft that I had to get my home keys off of my keychain that I gave to Daisy, so I had to go back. I talked to the desk in the service center because Daisy was with another customer. They were very unhelpful and said we would just have to wait for Daisy to get them from the tech she gave them to, and they made no effort to talk to someone to find my keys, even though the Lyft was waiting and I am a paying customer. Luckily, Daisy was done soon and she got them for me, but it was very off putting that they had my keys and supposedly only one person could find them. Anyways, they found a lot wrong with my vehicle during the inspection even though I maintain it pretty well, and in total wanted $1500 for repairs plus $1300 (!) for new tires. I decided to get a second opinion. The next service center I went to not only found that my headlights and license plate lights were out, which Bell Honda should have found but didn't, they also found only some of the same issues Bell Honda did. Bell Honda wanted $64 to replace my air filter, the new place did it for $10. They wanted $350 to replace my hoses and perform coolant fluid exchange whereas the new place could do it for $100. They wanted $750 to replace my compliance bushings but the new place said it was just barely showing signs of wear and tear and did not need replacement. The other service place also didn't find anything wrong with my alignment, which I agree with as I have not noticed anything off, but Bell Honda supposedly did find something wrong and wanted to charge me for it. Bell Honda also wanted $1300 for tires which is pretty outrageous. Additionally, Bell Honda said they would put my good tires on the front but didn't, as the new service center told me they had to do it themselves. Honestly, I wouldn't waste your time or money. There are places with better staff and cheaper rates. This place only seems to give you attention when they want your money and provide terrible service otherwise. read more

I decided to service my Mazda over at Bell Honda because it was the closest dealership to me, moving forward I will continue any service I may need with Honda specifically because of the treatment I received from my service advisor. Faith Williamson was diligent in explaining everything that I needed done with my vehicle and I felt that I was taken care of more than adequately. Not only did I feel that her judgment and knowledge was of high standards, but she was able to explain to me everything that was wrong and right with my car in a way that was easily palatable for someone who has zero knowledge of cars. I purchased a vehicle almost two years ago. Since my purchase I get bi-monthly to monthly calls to trade my car in for another vehicle. It's like I am part of the new hire training to be called. I have begged and gotten nasty and asked you all to stop. I threatened to come in screaming to have you all leave me alone. Love my vehicle but I am not happy with this. It's incredibly unfortunate that the sales and service side don't communicate at all. I went in today to get my Zantek done. Which was something that is added on when purchasing the car from them. Got there and the service people said due to the rock chips they advised against it because it will fade the paint. Sent me over to finance to speak with them about getting a refund. They said they didn't deal with that. Sent me to the sales team. The guy that helped me there gave a completely different answer. Sent me back to service and told me they were going to detail my car inside and out, service had no clue about this. Took photos of my car because if it damages my paint I will contact my lawyer. Seems like a recurring issue at this dealership. Only positive of this entire trip - Kayla and one other gentleman from service were very helpful and empathetic. I first tried calling the Honda dealership closest to me and the person I spoke with in the service department was extremely rude and acted as if I was bothering him by trying to schedule an appointment. So, next on my list was Bell Honda. I spoke with Brenden Dearie a service advisor, and my experience was like night and day compared to the first dealership. Brenden got me scheduled right away and handled everything professionally and efficiently. When I picked up my car, there was a new issue caused by the first repair which required me to bring it back for a follow up appointment. Even though this was an inconvenience, Brenden handled it perfectly and got me setup with a free rental car for the rest of the day. I get it that unforeseen things can happen and I judge businesses on how they handle and correct the issue, and Brenden took care of everything like a complete pro. That being said, my service appointment with Bell Honda went as planned, was ready as promised, and the staff were helpful - an improvement over most. They also offered a shuttle service which made life MUCH easier as I live alone and getting someone to give me a ride is a challenge. I was nervous because the reviews aren't stellar, but they were the only dealership with the color combo we wanted. Daniel Conway was our sales guy and he was dry nice and walked us through the car front and back. Knew every detail. It's our first Honda and he did a great job getting us up to date. After a lot of back and forth we finally agreed on a deal and Jake in Finance wrapped us up. Jake me be the nicest guy I've ever met. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is it did take a lot of negotiating to get to a price I was happy with. But we did get there and I'm very happy about that. I would like to thank Trish for being patient and understanding! We had a A/C issue and due to warranty company always giving her the run around making the work and process take longer then expected that's why it took them so long to fix my vehicle! I dropped off my van 7-10-2018 after 7 or 8 a.m and I got my van back today 7-17-2018 at around 5:00 p.m. Trish was patient and allowed me to express and vent and also listened to my husband as you can see the frustration fro leaving our van Tuesday and yet no answers by Friday can be overwhelming. But I was patient because my A/C needed to be fixed ahhh driving with no A/c is brutal. But Friday came and yet no answers Trish listened to my concerns about being without a vehicle and the importance of it due to my work and family coming into town! (I haven't seen my lil sis in over 7years so I really needed my van back) but what good is a Van with No a/c it's not safe for me to drive my girls in a Hot car. And I am a caregiver certainly unsafe to drive my client in. Trish patiently listened and got us the rental because warranty covers! And we were good to go! -I was so frustrated and honestly regretted even buying a vehicle from Bell Honda but after this experience (yes as annoying as it is- Honda couldn't help warranty issues and them procrastinating) I will be looking for a Car for myself in the coming year and will definitely keep This Honda dealership in mind because of the service department with Trish. I tried to hold off writing my review as long as I could to give the dealership ample time to fix my issue. Basically I bought a lemon and the dealership will not take responsibility. When I purchased my car on New Year's Eve at closing the very next day I came back because it was oil in my driveway. Of course the service department was closed so I had to come back on Monday and they took the time to look at my vehicle and they let me know that there was nothing wrong maybe the oil pan was leaving some drips, but after I got my first oil change if there were further issues they would take responsibility and rectify the issues. Fast forward two months later after my first oil change the service department says my car is leaking oil and you can guess that no one is taking responsibility and I'm stuck with the bill. I would also like to mention that there were other issues including the fact that I had to get new brakes on a car that I just purchased as well as I had to pay $700 to fix the system that's connected to the windshield wiper fluid because the service light wouldn't go off. All these things I mentioned after purchasing the car while I was covered under my 30 day warranty in which the dealership would not take responsibility for. While I except responsibility for purchasing the car and not having it looked at by a trusted mechanic I don't take responsibility for the dealership being shady and pushy along with being passive aggressive. I feel like I was trying to mistreated and I wouldn't suggest as dealership to my worst enemy. Trust me, I know that I really could've taken other steps so that I wasn't had by the dealership, and for that all I can do is offer my suggestion to steer clear of this place. Many car salesman are shady but here there was lack of experience and customer service and as a woman purchasing a car they treat you as if you're an educated and they try to pacify you in the end to leave you stuck. First they tried to add an increase of 25% to the cost of the vehicle in dealer incentives that were of zero value to us. Paint protection on a used car that we had to come back to the dealer which is 50 miles away every 6 month? No thanks for the inconvenience. Having to do the normal waste of time negotiating they took most of the incentives off but still wouldn't honor the price we built on line that included tax, title, license and doc fees. After talking to someone online about buying a Honda CRV, they finally convinced me to drive 28 miles to their dealership. Promising me a $25 gas card just to test drive a car. When I got there the person who I was supposed to meet up with had gone home for the day (must not have wanted the sale) and the price of the car had gone up $3000. I went through 3 "sales managers" by that time it was 9:30pm (I had arrived at 6:30pm). They would not honor what their internet sales manager promised and told me to write down my address to mail me my gas card. It's been 4 weeks now and STILL NO GAS CARD. If I could give zero stars I would. My car's A/C quit working in August of 2023, the hottest summer in history, with excessive heat warnings of temperatures over 110 degrees. I took it in to Bell Honda on August 7 for my 7:20 am appointment. They said the diagnostics would be a 24 hour turn around. So Tuesday morning I called and they told me I had two leaks, one was in the shaft seal and one was in the discharge hose. I got a call later from them with the bad news that discharge hoses were on backorder and could take 3 MONTHS to get and the A/C wouldn't work without it! They claimed they searched everywhere for the part including after-market parts. I then called Arrowhead Honda and they had the part in stock and told me it would take 3 hours to replace the shaft seal and discharge hose and fill with Freon. So I called Bell Honda back to tell them I would take the car to Arrowhead Honda and they told me that they already filled it with Freon and the new shaft seal was due in on Wednesday and without the shaft seal the Freon would all leak out and they couldn't get paid on my extended warranty for the $300 worth of Freon unless they replaced the shaft seal. So then I was told that I couldn't get the car until Thursday afternoon. Of course they refused to provide me with a loaner. I called on Thursday and was told that they had good news for me. The discharge hose miraculously became available and they could do the whole job and have the car ready to go Friday afternoon. For what Arrowhead Honda quoted as a 3 hour job, Bell Honda had my car for 5 days! I was afraid to make a fuss for fear they would vandalize my car. They had it for 5 days for what Arrowhead Honda said was a 3 hour repair job. The mileage in on their paperwork was 37,568 and after I drove the car home the actual mileage was 37,421 so they just made up numbers! I thought the mileage when I brought it in was more like 35,000. I'm wondering if the reason they kept it for 5 days and made up lies about why it was taking so long is because someone was using my car. Also when I got the car back it was dirty. I commented on that and was told "we don't wash cars anymore". The car looked like it was either left out in the rain or was driven in the rain but there was no rain in Phoenix that week. We have worked with Josh in service before, and he is great, servicing our cars that aren't even Hondas, so when it was time for another vehicle, we decided to give them a shot. JJ was REALLY great to work with, and I didn't even need the novocaine. The whole car buying experience was great and didn't take 7-8 hours. We were pleasantly surprised by the professional and friendly manner in which we were treated by the sales associate Fred. We called Bell Honda inquiring if they had a 2021 Honda CR-V hybrid on the lot. Fred said there was one available and he would have it ready for us to test drive when we arrived. About 10 minutes later, we met with Fred and he accompanied us on the test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all of our questions. We were also interested in the Toyota Rav-4 hybrid and he was able to give us some information about it as well. We told him we would like to test drive that before making our final decision. He directed us to the nearby Toyota dealership and gave us the name of who to ask for when we got there. After test driving the Rav-4, we decided we preferred the CR-V hybrid. We returned to Bell Honda to ask what we could get on our trade-in vehicles. Fred then found out that the CR-V that we test drove had been taken out for another test drive and sold while we are at the Toyota dealership. He promptly checked and discovered that the "twin" to the one we test drove would be arriving in a few days. In the finance department, we met with Robert and that was pretty streamlined and effortless. Like Fred, he was very knowledgeable and professional. In summary, we feel like we got a great deal on the brand new CR-V hybrid that was in transit, and Fred made us an awesome deal on our trade-ins. I'm cool with it, bout to give him my card to put a deposit down. the dealer calls and says with tax it like 62k I'm like huh? i told them there's no way its 8k in taxes. there like will call you back, come to find out there's some extras on the Honda pilot that the dealer try's to sell people like roof rails,zantek ultimate, window&clear bra appearance package, protection package, bunch of stuff that nobody wants. So im like take it off, i don't want it and they didn't make me aware of it in the 1st place.
