It's rare that I get to go out dancing, being a mom, but when I do, it's such a treat. The last 2…read moretimes I've been to Molly Magees' I have had the luck of dancing to the Vietnamese DJ who takes every request with, "I got you." He really turns it up, and I really get to dance. The last time I went there, I brought some friends and had the unfortunate lesson that DJs are rotated in. So we would not have the Vietnamese DJ. Instead, we had a DJ named Jose Melendez. At the beginning of the night, I requested 90's Hip Hop. He said, "This is 90's Hip Hop." I said, "I've never heard this song before." He said rudely, "That's not my problem." We were the only people on the dance floor for most of the night. The music was terrible and eventually, it became a chore to dance. We were dancing to excercise but spent the night making fun of the music by dancing as terribly as possible. What is the point of DJing if you're only going to play music that empties your dance floor? Hope we never see this DJ again. He was rude his music stunk.

We decided on AC Lounge and Gin Bar, and we were so happy we did!! Our martinis were so so delicious, my only complain was there were no bleu cheese stuffed olives haha. The amount of seating was amazing both indoors and outdoors! The service was perfect. As mentioned it was Super Bowl Sunday so there were plenty of happy fans, even still service was fast and friendly AND my friend and I could hear each other perfectly due to the amount of space and seating. This would be a good date spot.

At first I was skeptical since this was a bar inside a hotel and the reviews were scarce. Showed up to the hotel and couldn't really find the bar so had to ask the front desk. Our bartender Fernando was cool though. Made us some good drinks and yes, as a gin bar, they did have some good gin selections. As a home bartender, I've made some of these drinks. I didn't think the Romos Gin Fizz was what I expected as what I made was quite different. I never made the Last Word as I don't have green Chartreuse. The Last Word was more complex than I had anticipated probably because of the green Chartreuse. Fernando used Starbucks coffee in the espresso martini. The coffee was good, but unfortunately overpowered the gin. If we had known, we probably would have asked for a stronger gin. The negroni was good, but not really my kind of drink. I started to like it a bit after some ice melted and the bitter taste was not as dominant. We were the only customers at the bar from 9:30 to 11pm. Appreciated the space all to ourselves and Fernando's drinks and company.

While the interior is standard and the pub food is mostly decent but nothing to write home about, the venue truly shines with its massive outdoor patio setup featuring plenty of big-screen TVs, a full bar, pool tables, and an unexpected full-size sand volleyball court. Drink prices are quite reasonable for Silicon Valley, and the bartenders keep the 30 available draft taps flowing quickly even during packed events like the Super Bowl. It may not be a high-end dining destination, but it is a fun, no-frills, highly energetic neighborhood watering hole perfect for catching a game with a group of friends. Tip: Garlic Fries are not good. Thanks

The term dive bar is thrown around a lot. Everyone can claim to be a dive bar. But the fact is that…read morefew places earn that reputation. What makes Final Score great isn't its pool table, dart boards, dart boards or lotto machine. It isn't the familiar selection of the same drinks behind the same bar that you're used to seeing block after block in any city. What makes Final Score a diamond in the rough is what makes legendary dive bars great. The people. The bartenders are lovely. They're kind. They're warm. And that's the difference: Warmth. From my time frequenting the Score, I have been honored in getting to know the current evening staff: Tosh who tends the bar Monday through Wednesday, Eryn who holds it down Thursday and Friday. And Alexis, who you'll come to love if you spend weekends at this joint. Back to the review. You want a bar? This is a bar. You want to watch shit on tv? They have 7. You want to shoot pool? There are league nights sometimes so better bring your A-game. Miss the punk rock of your high school days? It's on the juke-box and Eryn will probably sing along with you. Alexis is beautiful and is quick witted and smart. Eryn is beautiful and is sweet and spunky. Tosh is beautiful and is loyal and understanding. And that's just the staff. Wait until you get to know the regulars. What more do you need, seriously?

Absolutely outrageous pricing; the worst part is, they originally served us 14 wings instead of the 21 we ordered, and still had the gall to charge us $64 for them. The drink service was also incredibly slow. We waited 15-20 minutes for our first round of two beers. The wings themselves were also subpar; other local places or even Wingstop are miles better. I remarked on wanting to try their Irish pub entrees sometime, but that won't be happening after this visit. Our waitress did comp us two drinks for the service. However, when she brought us the receipt only one was comped, and she only comped the second after we pointed it out.
