Fred's bar has a black exterior with a neon 'OPEN' sign, potted plants, and an American flag outside. The sign on the roof displays the name 'Fred's.'

Came to this place and I was visiting a friend around the area. This bar is very standard. Owner is friendly. They have good draft beer. Also you could smoke out front or outback they have a patio where the locals hang out. Pool table is decent. I haven't tried the food but it seems like it's real deal for a price. I would definitely come back here when I'm around Palo Alto .

Six people are standing together in a bar with a dark interior, bar counter, and patrons seated in the background. The lighting is low.

Met my friends. And co worker at Fred's. Great time with karaoke. Girls did a great job singing.

Polish Hot dog - A hot dog topped with chopped onions, sliced pickles, and ketchup, served in a bun, likely from a casual eatery.

What does a cocktail cost at Fred's? You never know. Everytime I go and order my standard cocktail the price is different. What gives?

The last great dive standing in the area. Nice people. Nice decor. Food truck in back. After the nut house closed this is the one.

The best dive bars, in my opinion, have to have "an authentic, unpretentious atmosphere featuring cheap drinks, a loyal, eclectic crowd, and a "no-nonsense" demeanor, often with classic entertainment like a jukebox, pool table, or dart boards" (quoted google). Thats Beefys! 2nd of all, the bartenders are super fun and do a great job, ESPECIALLY LYCA! She was the whole reason I went in there in the 1st place!!! I love her! 3rd, I'll tell you what... when I went to karaoke night, I was BLOWN AWAY! The singing was overall much better than other karaoke bars I have been to, but what made it even more awesome was the positivity from everyone in the entire place! I have never been to a dive bar that was SOOO full of such great juju and optimistic vibes! The environment has all kinds of dope vintage signs and cool crap! They even have old school Nintendos and s&#t up in there!!!! But all those awesome things aside, the owners are TOP notch and really bring everything full circle for me! Their love and compassion for their patrons is so genuine making the entire establishment and anyone who is there just a big ass, dope ass, sick ass family that I'm stoked and proud to be a part of! Love you guys so much!!!!

Funny to think how in Silicon Valley a place doesn't accept credit. Lol I'm only doing three stars instead of the normal four since they only accept cash and I didn't know beforehand. Everything was actually fine at this particular location. They were a lot of people playing darts and it seems like all the regulars of Sunnyville came out here. Lol we weren't a part of the group, but it was very clicky once the regular saw each other. Lol I don't know if I'll come here again, but my friend had a lot of fun singing karaoke. They did not have any food, but there was a Chinese dumpling spot next-door but sadly it closed so we went down the street to get some fried chicken at Dave's hot chicken. Check out my review for that.

It's got that classic dive vibe--unpretentious, relaxed, and easy to settle into--but what really stood out was how clean the space was. Sometimes dive bars can feel a little too gritty, but this place strikes a great balance between character and comfort. The staff was super kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. They were quick with drinks and genuinely friendly without being over the top. We lucked out and came on a karaoke night, which was such a fun surprise. The energy picked up in the best way, and it felt like everyone was just there to have a good time. Bonus points for the slight discount if you pay in cash--always appreciated. If you're looking for a laid-back, no-frills spot with good vibes and occasional karaoke fun, Le Banc is definitely worth checking out.

The lighting, music, and overall vibe were enjoyable, and the setup made it feel like a comfortable spot to hang out. The drinks were decent too. I had a very bad experience with the Lady bartender. The drinks were fine, but her attitude made the visit extremely uncomfortable. This review is an HONEST personal experience. I will never go back there again. It's better to go to other bars with good service and treat people equally. Good customer satisfaction is very important.

If you're into bar trivia, it's definitely a solid spot for that. That said, the service left a bit of a sour note for us. When our group first arrived, we hadn't ordered immediately since we were still getting settled, and we were told pretty bluntly that we needed to order or leave. I completely understand that it's a business and especially on a busy trivia night they need tables turning and drinks flowing--but the way it was communicated felt impatient and a bit rude. Once things got going, the atmosphere was fun and upbeat, but the initial interaction made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the night. Overall: great trivia, lively vibe--but customer service could use a little more warmth, especially with groups just getting situated.

More of an homage to bars of yesterday. I participated in a fundraiser at Amandine recently, handpicked by a board member because of the ambiance & overall relationship to the local community. Small bar with nice seating at bar or booths with chairs. Everything is well-maintained and clean. Lighting is perfect with fun accents on walls & tables. Lots of nearby street & lot parking. In fact, many of the customers are locals. Bathroom - just one. Darn. Otherwise, it's clean & spacious.
