Do Not Waste Your Time or Money This place is a disaster. My wife and I went on a casual dinner date and left frustrated, hungry, and utterly shocked by the level of incompetence. I ordered a hamburger that was so ridiculously salty it was completely inedible. My wife confirmed it--this was not a minor seasoning error; it was a culinary fail of epic proportions. The service was worse. After dropping off our food, the waitress vanished entirely, leaving us ignored for an extended period. When she finally returned, she asked how things were and, predictably, had zero interest in correcting the problem until I specifically complained. The manager arrived and proceeded to lecture me about not complaining immediately, essentially blaming the customer while the inedible burger remained on the bill. When I refused to pay for a meal I couldn't eat, the manager threatened to call the police. That's right--an inedible burger and zero accountability escalated to police threats. I did not back down, rather I accepted her offer to bring the authorities into the situation. Turns out that was just an unprofessional game of chicken. Eventually she reluctantly adjusted the bill to charge only for the fries I ate while maintaining an obnoxious, rude attitude throughout. This is not a restaurant--it's a hostile obstacle course where customers are punished for expecting basic competence. Avoid at all costs. There are countless places that can serve edible food without turning a dinner into a confrontationalal ordeal with incompetent, rude, and completely unprofessional staff. My friend hosted a party at beef o bradys and the spread was great! They had a ton of different options for food and drinks. The food was tasty. I am not sure what goes into hosting an event, but the room seemed too small for our group so I am not sure where the miscommunication was there but we made it work. When it came time for bingo, we had to sit in the main area because the speakers were not loud enough to reach out room, which was fine. Overall, I would return for a fun night of bingo but not sure I would host a large party. read more

We visited this location on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy at all. We had fast service and they were very accommodating to us wanting to try a variety of foods. We tried the boneless wings, onion rings, Fries chicken tenders, grilled shrimp and Hamburger steak. They offered us extra wing sauces to try and they were all good!! The chicken tenders were nice and fresh. We sat in the patio which was nice. Could use a nice extra decorations outside and maybe some music outside. A solid 3 stars. GOOD: The food was great. The customer service was good. The prices are reasonable. And there's plenty of parking. The last time I visited was 5 or 6 years ago. There is a big improvement in the food and the service. BAD: My experience was completely ruined by several customers that were inconsiderate idiots. The entire ongoing spectacle made me want to leave as soon as possible. They were all regulars because the bartender, the wait staff, and the manager on-duty all knew their names and were chatting with them. There were a couple of normal (sober) families and senior citizen couples that wandered in while I was eating. I felt sorry for them. Several people were already extremely drunk when I arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon. They were talking loud, engaging in horseplay, shadow boxing, and generally making a spectacle of themselves. One particular young woman kept yelling at her boyfriend and another dude: "You're an idiot". Then she did hand-stands next to the bar for drinks. It was like being at the zoo and watching a trained seal barking & doing tricks for fish. Ridiculous! My table was near the door to the front patio and it was non-stop traffic, right behind my back, going back & forth to smoke cigarettes. The patio is little more than a smoking lounge. I don't have a problem with smoking. But it looks pretty tacky with all of these people standing around smoking heaters right in front of the business and the main entrance. Management should get a handle on the goofball drunk customers. If they can't control themselves, they should be 86'd. I'd normally rate this place as 4 stars. The location is next to main thoroughfares. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I'm a fan of their food but have not eaten at this Beef O'bradys before. Their menu is identical to other locations, I ordered the chef salad. It appeared wonderful, plenty of the chef stuff, but the salad part was truly lacking. Surprising, because if they were trying to cut costs, lettue wouldn't have been where they cut! My friend ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, it was great! Huge piece of chicken breast, lots of sauce, good amount of fries. Messy, tho! Should be served with plenty of wipes! I've been to Beef O'Brady's 2-3 times. The food's been average. On my latest excursion, I had their grilled chicken salad, and have to say that they skimped on the chicken. They do offer some lunch combo specials and a 2 for $20 special that look pretty good. It's your very average bar and grill (which feels more like a bar than a grill), nothing tremendous or special. This is a decent diner with a big bar area. It honestly can't decide if it wants to be a bar or not. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a mushroom beef melt sand which here late one night after everywhere else's kitchens has closed. Fancy and decent resteraunt except the management is really bad and I mean HORRIBLE!! We have been seated and we asked for a appetizer. We waited 20 minutes for the appetizer and realized that one of the waiters brought out our appetizer to someone else. 10 minutes after we find out, our food has been brought out and we asked that our appetizer has been sent to someone else and the waiter said, "Oh, I'm sorry" and leaves. We had to pay for the appetizer that someone else had received for free. It's really too bad because we live so close, but I just don't think we will go back. My first ever visit there provided me with a pink hamburger, though I'd ordered well done. Second and third visits were not bad. We went tonight, arriving prior to the rush about 5:25, and ordered our food about 10 minutes later. We waited over an hour. Watching other tables sit, eat, and leave. Still no food. I would say it took about 45 minutes for our server to approach us and ask what we'd ordered to try and figure out the problem. After that, we waited a good 20 or more minutes for the food still. I'm pretty sure our order just didn't get put in at first. I know they were busy, and the servers were often seen RUNNING (well, jogging, maybe) so I know it wasn't all her fault. But they were obviously understaffed for a busy mealtime. People next to us had the same problem. Other patrons even noticed how long we'd waited and commented to us. They did take some off of the bill, but neglected to take off the $5 coupon I'd given them. When I questioned it, the server said she'd have to get a manager to re-print our bill to look at it to see whether the coupon had come off. (Where was the copy we'd just handed over - to compare totals?) She ended up handing me a $5 bill. That worked I suppose. All in all, this visit to a restaurant 2 miles from home took over 2 hours. Considering that we sat right down and ordered almost right away, that's one long wait. The food itself was okay, though our bacon cheeseburger came out as a plain hamburger, and with unmelted cheese after we asked for it. Took a while to get a beer, too. I lived in Franny town for 14 years, lived only a few block to the north and ate here from day one(even before day one when it was Billy's). It was a good place for date night with my wife. Time marches on and my family and I moved away three years ago. We were on our way through last night (Saturday night) and the place was only 1/3 full and we were seated right away. The old "good" wait staff was gone. The new staff just didn't seem to care about their job. The app we ordered was just thrown down on the table, we didn't get plates for it or pop refills for that matter. Once we had our food it seems like they forgot about us. Several months ago we stopped in here. Being new to the area, it was our first "new" place to try up here. I was pleasantly surprised. THEN.... We stopped at the andover location a different evening after swimming at the Y and was very dissatisfied with the service and food was sub par. Okay, it must just be that location. So, looking for a place to eat on a wednesday evening, we go back here. They had a pizza and wing special. $10's for pizzas and $.75 wings. First of all, the pizza was TERRIBLE! A frozen jack's pizza is 3 times better than what they serve. The burger we ordered was dry and blah. Even the macaroni and cheese childrens meal was cold and embarassing. The service was poor. Now to the wings. I ordered 12 wings in two different sauces, the sauces themselves were decent but, I have seen bigger wings on a dragonfly that what I was served! These things make buffalo wild wings wings look like dinosaur parts. I would have been humiliated to serve any of this so called food to anyone. It's unfortunate that a place can even get away with serving trash like they did. Honestly, the only positive thing about this place is that there is a mcdonalds next door and we all had someplace to get something to eat before we got home.
