One of my favorite breweries for road tripping from the SW metro. They've always got interesting infusions and do some of the best stouts in the state. They're really thick so could be a meal! They've also got solid lighter beers, if that's more your thing, but I'm a sucker for anything barrel aged. Completely dog friendly, comfy couches in addition to their tables, and tons of USB outlets if you want to get some work done. Lots of windows to let in natural light so is a very welcoming space. They also have a back area for hosting events if you're in the market. There are always food trucks or events so you can usually find an excuse to go. The staff are fantastic. Always helpful, friendly, and put up with my constant questions. The great selection of N/A and THC beverages if you're not drinking alcohol so the is always something for everyone. I've got a beer token to use so I'll be back sooner than later, for sure.

The merch! Great Tin Tackers! And for sure a very tasty IPA.

Heading back from Fargo ND, Drekker Brewfest and stopped in Lupulin teeing in Big Lake MN. It was recommended by some great new friends we made at the brewfest and they were right. The beer, Fashion Mullet IPA was delicious and they have a great selection of merch. This is what breweries need to do, too many don't put enough attention on the merch. The beers great but it was the merch that we spent more on today. The place oils like a great hang out, music, TVs and a food truck with a really nice selection. If you are heading on I-94 give them a try!

A very refreshing beer, the Doppelbock!

Lupulin Brewing was a brewery I had my sights on to try for a little while now. I am glad to have had the opportunity to try two of their beers, both different styles to get a broader view as to how the beer tastes. The first one was a Bock beer simply called Dopplebock. This was a pretty good beer with it's malty and toffee flavors combination kind of reminds one of toasted bread. But my favorite out of the two has to go to their New England IPA called Hooey. This is one of the better New England IPA'S that I have had in a while. The hops gave it a juicy flavor along with a very noticeable citrus aspect. The combination of the hoppiness, bitterness and citrus made for a very enjoyable and well made New England IPA!

I stopped in Saturday morning at open for a beer. It was nice to chat up friendly and knowledgeable beertender David before the masses embarked. Despite it's 9% ABV I opted for the Coffee Stop Assault Vehicle 2022. It was delicious and a great sipping beer as I talked. I like the big, spacious tap room and the walls of floor to ceiling windows. Appreciate the lounge-type area in the NE corner. What a great mural when you first enter the building! Also in the room off to the left when you enter. The bar stools are comfy, thanks Lupulin. Lupulin has a great variety.... beer, N/A, THC, sodas and edibles. Next week is their Big Beer week; they will be releasing... 40 beers throughout the week! That's impressively crazy. Parking is really easy in their shared lot and the brewery is easy to spot from highway 10. It seems more and more breweries display growlers. I like it..since there always tend to be a few that are closed or a few you've forgot about...makes for good beertender discussion. I'd be remiss if I didn't include a couple of Mad Props from a couple past visits!! One July afternoon I miscalculated so I arrived about 15 minutes before open. I toggled between opening my door and running the a/c to keep cool. A couple other parties arrived....lined up. Why?! So annoying, nothing is going on, just a regular day. The beertender poked his head out "hey, she'll be in first.. she's been here the longest!" Yes, thank you!! The other.. several months ago I came in w a BOGO Hop Passport. I was poured one beer and slid a Free Pour card for the other! Unprompted and much appreciated as I really wasn't in the mood for two beers today as this wasn't my only stop. Thank you Lupulin for always providing excellent service!

Went to Lupulin with a buddy and was able to try out quite a few of their beer offerings! The beer was very tasty, and they had a wide selection both to enjoy, and to take home. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating, and willing to offer suggestions on beers to try. The space was great for us, but offered many great seating options for small-large groups, and plenty of room for dogs.

This place is a bit of a drive from the Twin Cities so regrettably, my husband and I don't get to visit often/spontaneously. Due to some new Big Beer Week beer releases, we finally made the trip yesterday with our dog in tow (it's a dog-friendly taproom and there's a patio!) There are couches, armchairs, and coffee tables which were a nice change from just high top tables, regular tables, and chairs but there are those too as well as bar seating with plenty of purse hooks (!) and USB and regular outlets. There's TVs, bar games (and from pictures, it looks like pinball and arcade games as well, I didn't explore,) pull-tabs for a good cause, and windows that look into the brewing area. They hold events and host food tricks and have an event space that they rent out. The staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. We ordered a few stouts with infusions which came in either 5oz or 10oz pours which is great because they were boozy/high ABV, definitely some of the better stouts I've had, each had different flavor(s) without them being artificial or overwhelming. There are N/A beverages and other types of beer if stouts aren't your thing or if it's 80° outside. There's also to-go beers, we ended up purchasing a four-pack of cans of Church Basement Pancake Breakfast stout since it was so good. We will definitely head back sooner than later!

Cool spot just outside of the cities. The tropical fun pants is their claim to fame but also have other great craft beers as well. They even do beer slushies! They have a nice patio as well and typically have a food truck.

There are many things that make a brewery great far beyond the beer. Lupulin not only has exceptional beer, they have created the gold standard in taproom experience. Even though located at the end of a strip mall in an outer suburb of Minneapolis, the space transforms you. While the taproom isn't huge there is plenty of seating as well as a cool little private space with comfy chairs and couches, gorgeous log bar and sweet patio with a custom made fire pit. The beer! Wow! The flagships are delicious and most importantly consistent. Every Sunday they feature their "BrAdam" infusions, always fun and sometimes wild and funky creations. Whether IPAs are your style, stouts, lagers, or even sours you will not be disappointed. Some of my favorites are the Hooey, Blissful Ignorance and the CPB and that's just to name a few from the year round selections. Another thing that makes this place one of my top stops for craft beer is their Wednesday evening run club. As an admirer of craft beer and running it's awesome that I can enjoy the two things simultaneously! Every Wednesday at 6:00pm show up for a 30 minute run and get a FREE pint for your hard work. All ages and skill levels are welcome and encouraged. It's a pleasure to run beside Aaron, Head Brewer, and then tip a beer with him afterwards. Super cool.

Went to Lupulin on Friday to listen to my favorite local band (Grunge Unplugged), and found my new favorite Hazy IPA. I usually like to try several beers when visiting a new brewery, but went 5 rounds with the "8 Count"! Excellent beer. Venue was also awesome for live music. Looking forward to going back.

First time here and very impressed! Families and babies met me but oh well. Hope someone was sober driving the precious ones home. Rant over. Sampled these: Belgium Blonde: super good. 2 Nuts Amber Brown Ale: good. Imperial Hazelnut Truffle Porter good. Operation Cohoperation: this is the joint effort of Brent the brewer who was at Disgrunted in Perham and who is opening Drastic Measures in Wadena. Also very good. The beertenders were so nice. Lupulin is named after a gland in hops. They trade growlers or will fill. They have mostly run out of shelf space. I traded my Red Wing Brewery one for theirs and got a growler of Belgium Blonde. The atmosphere was very nice and they had a gas fireplace in the wall. Very nice place. They seem like they are successful and doing well. Will definitely return and they allow dogs and babies.

I've been wanting to check out this brewery for a while now and glad I finally had the chance. I probably would have driven right by it if I didn't follow my gps. There is plenty of parking. You walk inside and it's clean and modern and I like that they have the menu both on a board and on a tv. They also had a beer special BOGO on a stout which you don't usually see at breweries in the cities. I love all the growlers from local breweries that they have behind the bar. Also there is a BBQ food truck outside or at least it was there when we went. The bartender was really nice and let us sample a few beers and gave descriptions and recommendations. Also you can choose the size flight you want and the beers are $3. Not crazy about the price as it seems steep considering you can usually get a flight for $10 and try 4 beers. The brewing area is exposed and cool to look at. Also there is an outside seating area with a fire pit. I was a bit disappointed that it was 9pm and still not lit. I wonder when they light the pit. They could also use some more seating outside because there is plenty of room for it. I enjoyed the apricot blonde and the sexy hops was also good. Overall a great brewery to check out and I look forward to going back!

Solid spot for unique beers and one offs if your lucky. Very cool merchandise and stickers for you to take back home.

Parking: they have plenty of private parking. You stand in a line and stand 6 feet apart. You wait in line, for your turn to order some beers. They give you a number and you have the reservations for 90 minutes.

And if you are needing to do some crafts, Crafts Direct is right next door! Snoop Dog P.O.G A Wheat beer kettle soured with additions of Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava. A lot of P.O.G. character providing sweetness and citrus to go along with a mild tartness. A fuller body than some kettle sours, but it makes me feel more like I'm drinking a cocktail - which I'm digging. Hay-Z (99 problems - but a beer ain't one) A Hazy IPA with Idaho Gem, Sabro, and Citra hops. Very smooth with mild bitterness. Juicy and citrusy with notes of orange, coconut, and pineapple. Maybe it was the sour, but between these two beers I wanted to grab my Hawaiian shirt and sit on a beach. Ledge 'N' Dairy Coffee A bit different from the theme of the first two beers, but just as enjoyable. A Sweet Stout infused with coffee. The base sweet stout provides good balance to the roasty-bitterness of the coffee addition. Reminiscent of a mocha from a coffee shop! Pull Up Quick I returned to the warmer weather vibes with this Witbier. Hints of orange and coriander with a light straw color. Light bodied and delicious!
