BEER ME!!! Excellent local brewery in St Cloud - and dog friendly!!! (I'm making a point of noting this in reviews for other dog owners who are ridiculous like us and want to take them everywhere. You're welcome.) Of course we ordered flights. Of course it was a little too much beer. Of course we didn't care. The only thing that could have been better would have been a little food stand inside the very large brewery (or a partnership with a food truck or two) because really it was quite a bit of beer on an empty stomach. This brewery had a friendly feeling the minute we walked through the door. There was live music playing and people sitting at tables and the bar socializing. We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender got our order quickly. The drinks were good so we decided to try a few more. The coffee and vanilla stout was my favorite with the peanut butter Nitro stout as a very close second. My husband really liked the mango cream. We also met some friendly dogs. read more

Loved everything about this spot! well, except the parking lot right in front of the brewery. Be like the locals & park in the street OR bicycle in! Great customer service found here: our beer tender offered a samples of the Nice'd Raspberry Hard Tea AND a Sweet Miss before we ordered a pint. We had a flight of 9 brews for $18. It was a groupon I believe. I thought the Coconut sweet miss was the most interesting and Oktoberfest was also smooth. I loved the ambiance here, we played some table games, we got some snacks then realized we could order food.We spent almost 2 hours here when we only meant for it to be a quick stop. read more

Hey, been here twice in two years, not for any other reason but that I live in California. We visit with a family that live in town and we vacation at a lake about 2 hours away. He loves it here, so we grab a couple of pints as they fill his growlers to take to the lake. He introduced me the the owners, the brew dudes and other staff all of which were super nice. 8 out of 10 local craft breweries are wonderful in themselves, no different here...good fresh brew. Is it in my top 5, no but thats me. If I lived here maybe my style would be different. Last words...I'll be back next year. read more

Beaver Island Brewing offers a great selection of locally produced beers that are also available in many local restaurants. The Ripple is a kolsch style German beer for lighter beer fans. Their Sweet Mississippi Stout is for darker beer fans. You can also get a flight if you have a hard time deciding. They're all good. The bar area has a view into the brewing area. You can order food from any of the restaurants nearby and bring it in or have it delivered. The ambiance of the place is simple, rustic, wood and brick. If you really like one of the beers, you can order a growler to bring home. Local restaurants have also been incorporating Beaver Island's beers into some of their dishes. I had a cheesecake recently that featured the stout and it was divine. This is a great place to hang out with friends and have a drink. For food, there's Quarks American Bento across the street, Chinese and pizza in the same complex, Chipotle next door. read more

I stopped in here after having dinner at a local pub. I thought I would try them out. Unfortunately they were closing in less than an hour but that did give me time to try their IPA, and it was delicious. They were also running there Tuesday night special -buy a beer get the second one for a penny! So as you can imagine, I had to have two. I've been here a couple times and am never disappointed. They have a great selection of beers and they staff working is incredibly friendly. The attender gave me some recommendations of a couple beers to sample before we ordered. My only complaint is I wish they were open later as they close at 10 and that seems so early on the weekend! read more

I've been more than pleased every time I've been in the brewery. Since moving from Denver, where I could walk to multiple breweries, I was anxious to give this place a shot! They have a good number of beers on tap, they tend to have a few more IPAs and Stouts than many other breweries I've been to, but with that said I've never had a bad beer. My favorites are the Ripple, Blueberry Ripple and Revival- Spanish Orange! The staff is incredible bubbly and charismatic, it's evident they have a passion for and love their jobs! Let's keep the positivity train rolling into the station. Saint Cloud has officially reached capacity as far as eateries are concerned. They're at maximum capacity for places that sell anything you put in your mouth; in order to succeed in this market, you have to be special, and when I saw this brewery being built a handful of years ago, I was excited, but I was also nervous because I have witnessed so many preceding establishments fail, and here we are a few years later and they continue to provide an excellent, truly quality product to the community. These beers are great. Please go try them. They have a great selection of quality brews that all deserve ones attention. I don't care about food for this review this one's all about the beer. Now, I know you're all waiting for it, what's the complaint? There has to be one right?? Well there is, why are your hours of operation so damn silly? I feel like I'm back in statistics class solving quadratic formulas trying to determine whenever you people are actually open for business. My complaint is petty. Stopped at a restaurant/bar tonight after a movie and asked for the darkest brew they had. The bar tender suggested a mug of "Sweet Mississippi". WOW! Amazing! Had the Crosby Pilsner Mash, very nice, heavier than I associate with a pilsner. One of the staff treated us to a new concotion, Blueberry Ripple. Ripple is their standard, blueberry is infused with a process I won't divulge hear. Go try it and ask them yourself. read more
