Quiet place on a Monday (no surprise haha). We stopped on our way home from a mn road trip! Cool, industrial space, well set up! 8 tables or so and bar seats. The FRIENDLIEST staff. And, SO MANY BEERS. Y'ALL, I'M TALKING 40+ ON TAP. And THEY'RE GOOD! Fun flavors like lemon bacon (???) and pickle! Traditional Amber's, ipas and cream ales for the purist. Seltzers and ciders too! They have a great pizza deal ($22/2 beers and 'za). Easy parking. I would be a regular, no doubt, if we were local. STOP HERE!!! read more

We stopped at Starry Eyed Brewery on our way up north to the cabin, and it made for a great break from the drive. The brewery has a large indoor and outdoor space, and we especially appreciated that it's dog friendly, so we were able to bring our pup inside with us. Outside, there was plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs, along with lots of shaded tables to relax. Their beer menu was extensive--almost too many options to choose from! They definitely lean into unique flavors, with offerings like a pickle margarita beer and a mango wheat that made for a fun tasting experience. While none of the beers ended up being favorites for us, we still enjoyed the atmosphere. read more

We came here after going to the Craft Fair. We are not from the area but we always try to go to breweries in the area when we are out of town. We definitely wish we lived closer to this one. There were quite a few interesting options and my husband started with a strawberry shandy which was light and refreshing. The bartender suggested trying the lemon bacon which had a great bacon flavor. There were so many kinds that looked interesting we decided to get a flight. My personal favorite was a carrot cake beer which I am still thinking about. It was so delicious. We really liked everything we tried. The bartender was helpful and knowledgeable. I loved the empty hop bags as decor on the ceiling. It was different. They had a nice clean inside area and a comfortable patio area. Stop by if you have a chanc read more

I have to preface this by saying I don't like beer very much, but my parents really wanted to take me here so I came with them! I started with the caramel apple ale. The caramel on the edge of the glass was delicious, but the beer itself wasn't my favorite. It was ok, just not the best thing I've ever had. Next, I had the oatmeal cookie beer. I really liked this one! There was a lot of flavor which distracted from the bitterness of the beer. I wish I had started with this one! The whole place is this giant industrial shed, so if you're looking for a fancy place to get a drink, go somewhere else. This place has a fun, laid-back, community feel to it, with picnic tables scattered around and board games for you to play. They also have a couple different bean bag toss games and a game where you pound a nail into a stump. Sometimes they have live music, but they didn't when we were there. The servers were friendly, but there needs to be a better system for ordering drinks. As it stands, you pretty much walk up to the opening between the bar where the servers walk through to get back and forth and just wait for attention. If more than one person is waiting for a drink, it just kind of turns into a crowd in front of the bar. There needs to be a space AT the bar to order your drinks and have them handed to you there. Overall, Starry Eyed is a great place to come hang out for a few beers, games, and conversation! read more

If you're headed north toward the Brainerd area, I highly recommend stopping in Little Falls at Starry Eye. This brewery is perfect for social distancing. The indoor and outdoor spaces are huge and they offer a large beer list to match. I ordered the Wildberry Wheat (the BEST), Wildberry Sour, Guava Banana Sour, Pear Cider and Apple Pie Cider. The Guava Banana was surprisingly delicious with a very subtle fruit flavor, but the real winner here for me was the Wildberry Wheat. I was kicking myself for not purchasing a growler because I could've drank it all weekend long. They also have dark beers and everything in between. read more

This is Little Falls's newest brewery. Saturday was my first time here and although their beers are distributed to other bars, I've never tried. A soft opening was held in September and they are fully open now. GPS got me here and you can see from highway, but I cut through another business's lot to get to. One assumes parking is on the side of building. The front deck has wooden picnic tables out front. Inside is an L shaped bar and more picnic tables. Two unisex or gender neutral bathrooms are at the front. Now the beers. I purchased a flight of (4) 5 oz beers including: xx cream ale which was good, white I didn't really like this one. Not favorable. Wheat very good, and blonde good. I also enjoyed these samples: Lindy Hopped IPA with a good finish, Saison good and Fall Fling Wet Hop IPA good. None of the beers blew me away, so I didn't get a growler. They will fill another growler, but not swap it. Growlers also were a little expensive at $14.00. No tv yet and lacking decor, and games. They are getting t shirts in next week for grand opening. Dogs allowed outside but weather was rainy and owner allowed my dog inside. Soda options were syrup with carbonated water. They are new so taking things on a wait and see basis. Very cool logo. Location is good off Highway 76 on the way to Camp Ripley and 371. Best of luck and great success to Starry Eyed. Stop in and enjoy some good beer! read more
