A pleasant surprise! We are generally not "brewery" people, but when we saw that they also had food and cocktails, we wanted to give it a try :) We went at 11:15 on a Saturday. Food took a little bit, so I wouldn't go here if I was hangry and they were busier. For drinks, we ordered the Loony Bavarian and loony Lavender Lemonade. Both were fantastic! Husband is a blue moon fan, and he said the Loony Bavarian was even better! Next time he's going to order a crawler of it to take home :). I love that they let you taste things for free- I tried their plain seltzer, to see if I might want to get it in the future, and it was great! For food, we got the pita and spinach/artichoke dip- very good! We also both got the roasted chicken with white sauce and it was amazing! Will definitely be back! read more

Stop #45 (official) on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour We were greeted shortly after opening by very friendly staff that were happy to offer samples & make suggestions. The beer was decent and they were cranking out tons of food orders. We didn't eat, as this was our first stop of the day. Their sour is a base that you can have plain or get flavors added. I opted for blueberry and kind of regret not keeping it plain. I do like a nice funk & certainly needed a toothbrushing afterwards. We definitely enjoyed out stop & would come again. read more

Strange vibe here. Father's Day, first time in. Our group sat down at a table and the workers just looked at us, almost avoiding us. Much of the food is just microwaved right in front of you. Beer was decent. So many other better choices with better service and food. read more

This has become one of our favorite go to place for a tasty beer, an above average snack, play some board games, listen to some live music, or to just hang out. The beers here are interesting and there is likely something here that will suit your taste. They make an ok seltzer that can be flavored and comes in either hard or not hard. Pro Tip. If you want a hard cider say the word hard or you will get the no alcohol version. One more thing, they converted a pontoon into a stage .... Super cool. Stop by here, you will love it read more

Great beer for an newer spot which can be hard to do! Highly recommend checking out the snarky loon if you are in the area! They have a good arrangement of food as well as beers + seltzer for all you non-beer drinkers! Covid friendly, spaced out, outside areas, and lots to choose from! We had the cookie beer which I believe is the dark woods and it was my favorite. Very impressed by the flavor that goes along with this. They also have fresh cookies on the menu for you to order - what better way to enjoy a beer like this?! The seltzer was "okay" a little to fake sugary, sweet to me. Snarky Loon is a nice new brewery with solid beer and some food. The tap room is really nice with a good amount of space. The staff was kind and outgoing! Beer: I tried the Hefeweizen which I think was pretty good for a new brewery! It had flavors of clove & slight banana. I also tried their seltzer. I would not get this again, as it tasted surgary. Theeee best brew pub with in-house brewing in the Brainerd/Breezy Point/Nisswa area! The ambiance was inviting, the owner/bartender/brew-master was friendly and informative, and the brews are PHENOMENAL. From the best American IPA (Downrange) to the best customizable Sour Ale (Wretched Ale - Blood Orange flavor) to the best N/A Snarky Craft Soda (Orange Cream). Their flavors are all natural with no corn syrups and no sugar added. They even have delicious oven baked, no fry food. I heard they have live music on the weekends too! Great space friendly staff and the one beer I was able to try was good, as was their root beer. It was a lunchtime visit and if I drink more than half a beer before 3 I'm asleep by 5so was not able to try many. Their NEIPA was solid for an early effort. The space is nice - lots of room inside with lots of seating available outside as well. It's far from our cabin otherwise I'd return often. Will make a point to visit when in the Jenkins area next. read more

We researched this brewery online before we headed up 30+ miles from home. The website showed pricing effective on the date we were there but we were charged a little bit more. We loved the beer and had a great beer cheese soup! We wanted to buy a growler of the NE IPA ...But the prices did not match their website. I think they need to match the beer price as well as growler pricing to match their website! Other than that it has great ambiance, there was live music , the service not quite what we expected , a little slow but it was our first time here! Also we were behind somebody in line to buy beer who is buying pulltabs I think they need to move the pull tab area away from the beer serving area. We are visiting from Indiana and came across this place. We weren't sure what to expect but it didn't disappoint. Menu isn't huge but all looked good. We went for lunch and got a brisket sandwich with chips which was very good. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be sure to stop by again. read more
