You order up at the bar and they have a lot of seating to accommodate different group sizes which is great! The epitome of a Minnesota micro brewery: games, snacks, a variety of beers from sweet and light to super pine tree IPA, and easy to order in food if you want it (in this case, from a Mexican place that's literally attached). Very family friendly, we saw plenty of kids and there's stuff for them (a variety of sodas but also they do hard seltzer cocktails that can be made NA). In general they had a slightly wider menu of cocktails than most places like this have. Staff were also super nice, even stopped by our table to take orders. The even better thing is, it's of course connected to the Cuyuna MTB system, so you can ride hard, get thirsty, then come here for beer and protein. That's what we did and we left happy. read more

Love this brewery!! If your ever in Crosby,MN stop on by. It's not very big but their beers are great! They don't have actual food for sale other than pretzels but they allow food from other restaurants inside, it can even be delivered!! Only parking is on street, weekends you can park next door. I love this place! I've stopped in for crowlers throughout the years, but this was my first time sitting inside. I sat and had a flight with my dog (I love that the inside is dog-friendly!). I had already gotten to know and love Uncle Tim's Cider, so I tried four new-to-me brews: Cranberry Apple Cider, Washboard, Hazy IPA, Miner 51. I have a new favorite! Miner 51 is the perfect summer beer: crisp and refreshing. As an added bonus, Burritos California is right next door. I got barbacoa tacos, chips, and queso. Amazing! read more

Food and cuteness of the space - 4 stars. Beer/seltzer/cider - 2 stars. Too bad the drinks aren't better, because that's why you come to a brewery. The cider is not really a cider - I tasted more beer than apple. Also, the frozen margarita seltzer was served barely cold, far from frozen, and undrinkable. My dad loved this place. He loves beer and when we are up at the cabin, this is a must to stop by. Now keeping in mind I don't drink beer at all, this is a cool place. They offer Italian soda here that you can mix flavors for. I love that. That makes this a kid friendly place which I think is super cool. They also have a lot of board games too! The workers here and super friendly and work hard. They will give you samples and talk to you about the different options they have. Bathrooms are very large and clean and are located just outside of the main area. Just outside of them is a foosball table! A nice addition for all ages. Overall a nice brewery located in Crosby. To my taste, the beers are just "meh." I wish I could rate higher but just not impressed with flavor profiles. The brews lack complexity and carbonation. It's a place to stop because it's closest to the cabin and have a beer but have yet to taste one that I would want to fill a growler. I will still keep trying but am inclined to drive 20 miles further to go to the next brew pub that I know I will enjoy. read more

Loved this place! Ordered 2 flights so we could try each of their beers, and liked every one of them. The Red Rider Radlermass, Silver Dollar Lager and Yawkey Ale were our favorites! Great place with lots of options if you enjoy the taste of wheat beers/Hefeweizens. This place did a phenomenal job of making guests feel safe amid the current pandemic. Signs to make those who prefer masks and those who don't feel welcome, the employees were all wearing masks, there were signs encouraging social distancing, and hand sanitizers everywhere. The cups for our flights were disposable which felt very clean, and they had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so people could spread out from one another. My wife and I have been to a lot of breweries and this one is among the BEST OF ALL!!! We drank 3 flights between the two of us (12 taster glasses) and enjoyed every one. She and I tend to be fans of lagers, but Cuyuna had a wide range of beers that we all slurped to the bottom of our glasses. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we love how they're focused on just beer - no bar food or kitchen, just some yummy pretzels of various flavors and food delivery menus from neighboring establishments. Several customers had food orders arrive while we sipped. WE LOVE THIS PLACE! We'll definitely return when we're back in the area. read more

Imagine my surprise, rolling through Crosby during one of our summer camping trips at the Portsmouth campground, to see a sign that says BREWERY off the side of a building that definitely wasn't there last year. Whaaaat! Some Googlefu revealed that they opened early 2017. So our camp group decided to cruise over on our bikes after an afternoon of diving. It's right off main street, across from a restaurant that also looks new and had a delicious sounding menu (alas we didn't head there afterward, we had meats to grill). I was sad to see that they were out of their IPA and also their lager, but they had a couple seasonals to fill the gaps, so I got myself a sampler. All the beers are appropriately named after things that happened in Cuyuna/miney things. The interior is nice - tables are those giant wooden spool things (no idea what they are called, bah!), the bar is really cool looking with nice stone designing. The bathroom was a bit odd - basically a giant space with a toilet off in the corner, heh. But it's clean so I won't complain. The beers were solid - you could even get a 'beermosa' thing, which was their blonde ale mixed with strawberry juice and oh my was that good. Hubs preferred the red and out of my sampler I think I liked the blonde the most. Also their tank tops are SO cute, not like your standard racerback from most places, it's a nice high quality feeling fabric (only one color, a darkish pink. Looks good, don't worry!) with cute cuts on the side and regular tank top straps. They had just gotten them in that day too. I put it on immediately because I foolishly wore a warm long sleeve fleece shirt on the ride over and was dying. I immediately got a couple compliments ;) Seriously though it's one of my favorite tanks now. So, the beers are good, but they aren't going to wow anyone coming up from the plethora of places in the cities. But they hit the spot on a warm day, not to mention omg a brewery in the Cuyuna area! Great local brewery w solid offerings across all taste preferences. A solid addition to a town and area that was desperate for a brewpub. If in town or passing through for anything, absolutely worth stopping in for a flight or pint of your favorite. My favorites are the crusher IPA, Bootlegger Bourbon Quad, and the Silver Dollar Lager (along w great story from the owner/brewer). Highly recommend. read more

Want to love this place because I love the town...beers I feel are very average and if I find one I like it usually isn't around if I come back another time looking for it...often you have to wait a very long time because they only have one bartender...I would think that you could have two people serving beer at the large bar and still be safe or safer than everyone waiting in one line. I tried to be patient and wait but after biking all day I didn't feel like standing in a long line for beer so I went to a competitor and had great service and relaxed atmosphere...they have or had a very friendly bartender for a while...not sure if she is still there? The others don't have much personality. I want them to do well and succeed but always leave me wanting a little more is why I am writing this review. Hopefully their beer and service gradually evolves and gets better. Because we need a good brewery in Crosby read more

I love that they are bike friendly and have a bike rack. Also the beer is pretty great. We had the crusher, blueberry wheat, and kombucha. Definitely try the green tea kombucha if you get the chance. It was wonderful! read more
