This place is an absolute oasis in the middle of the Minnesota North! When you walk in you are greeted by the minimalist light area and warm atmosphere filled with many things to purchase as well as many things to eat and drink! The baked goods are amazing, the coffees amazing, the breakfast food is amazing... Nothing has ever been presented terribly or tasted bad! It's all been top-notch! I always order the Nordic, which is a oat milk latte with lavender and honey, which is top-notch! Order a butter cookie if they still have any left because they are amazing as well! Not to mention everything feels cohesive in its brand... This place is a must stop when you visit the Minnesota North!

One of the best places to enjoy a lovely atmospheric experience: Cocktails, coffee and food are all crafted artfully and present themselves just as gorgeously as they taste! Vibe: eclectic, clean, rustic yet modern. You'd think Joanna Gaines had a personal hand in the creation of this space! Great place for a solo stop, date, or group. 5 stars.

We love this place! The perfect cafe spot and vibe this area needed. We frequent most during breakfast and brunch times as we love their offerings but their drinks and daytime menu sure aren't to be missed either! All coffees are crafted with the perfect flavor combos. Food comes out quick and is the perfect portion for a breakfast stop. We love their brunch board and breakfast sandwiches. Not to mention their bloody Mary's are delicious! Espresso Martinis are a hit too! Live music, yoga events, local items, and ice cream down the street. If you haven't been - you're missing out. Pay this place a visit!

Super cute space! Happened upon it while walking around the area. Great indoor and outdoor space. Limited menu today but that was fine as the avocado toast was perfect! Great flavor and so tasty with a nice glass of wine. Would certainly come back and try more food items. Not 5 stars as the menu was limited and the service was meh. Person who helped me order was great. You pick up your food at the cooks window...said thank you when I picked up and got blank stares. Happy Hour menu looks intriguing!

Gotta yank a star from my previous review of this eatery. Consistency didn't hold up. My prior delightful lunch of Italian sandwich, curry soup, & porter motivated me to bring a couple here for breakfast. Bad move. While the couple gave their breakfast bagel sandwiches & coffees passing marks, their fruit (and mine) were cut *at least* a day ago, likely more. The orange wedges had a tough dried skin over the flesh of the fruit. Melon chunks were likewise dried out & dessicated, devoid of juiciness and flavor. The grapes were okay. My $14 waffle sandwich launched off of miniscule 3"-3.5" cakes. TINY!!! Scrambled eggs were decently fluffy & accompanied by okay cheese, but were also diminutive in portion. Extremely poor value meal, given the premium boutiquey price charged for mediocre vittles in small quantity. TIP: Stick to their lunch menu items and leave breakfast to someone else.

Very cool spot. The atmosphere is very modern cabin feeling. You order at the counter when you walk in and then have the option of sitting at traditional tables, swing chairs or outdoors on a patio. They have a great menu with fresh different flavored donuts everyday. They also offer cocktails, local craft beers and awesome items like mimosa flights. Love the space, great menu, good staff, but the only downside is the prices are a little high. Highly recommend!

Went to MN Traders Co on my way through Pequot Lakes heading towards Itasca. Love the inside - like a chic, spacious cabin meets home decor store. For food we ordered the house salad and southwest turkey flatbread and both were excellent - the flatbread was my favorite. We also got an iced version of their North (of the Border) latte to go and it was delicious! Loved the combo of maple syrup and cinnamon and it was the perfect sweetness. I'll definitely be back on my next trip through town!

Such an awesome experience. Hidden gem for sure mimosa flight taster was a great way to start off our adventure! Yum!

Coffee, wine and beer bar - very cool

Staff proved minimal on the friendly or welcoming front, and even less impressive on the usefulness scale. While the variety of grocery items they carry is wide, there are only a few (sometimes only one) options for each item on your list. The liquor store side seemed to have a more depth of selection than the grocery side, which makes a salient & concise comment on the priorities found in the lake area of the north woods. Kudos to them for having fresh produce and fresh meat (albeit cryovac packed) among other diverse choices in the grocery section. Prices are high, but no moreso than other convenience stores. For being located immediately outside the gate of a trendy resort, the prices could be called reasonable. A couple demerits on a hit & run breakfast of a couple pastries. The chocolate cake donut was so fragile it broke into several pieces when I picked it up with the sani-paper wrap. The remains in the case of another failed attempt by someone else showed I wasn't the first to crush breakfast bread trying to get fed. When I mentioned these broken choco-donuts to the cashier on checkout & how they might alert the vendor to the product failure, her rampant & visceral indifference was so obvious & transparent that when she promised "I'll tell ..." person, only a fool would believe she intended to do squat with the customer comment. Placation was not achieved. The blueberry filled bismark was commercial grade at best, which ain't a good thing in my world. It tasted distinctly old & stale, with a musty flavor that bordered on a moldy spoiled taste. On the plus side, the amount of filling injected into the breadage was generous. Downside of the filling was its obvious lack of actual berry ingredient (chemical counterfeiting at its finest) and a texture like drywall joint compound or tile mortar.
