We are staying at the campground in Crosby and my husband ran out to get us a quick breakfast before our departure. We are so impressed with the food and the service was excellent. Great group of people in there in the morning regulars were there for conversation. The ham and the omelette is absolutely delicious and their breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. This is a must stop every time we go up north and the food is delicious and the service is always so quick too. You can seat yourself in the booths right when you walk in or to the right that is wide open. Latte came out in a cute cup with whipped cream and both decided on breakfast even though lunch was still an option. The cinnamon roll French toast was to die for. They had cream cheese frosting and syrup that made this such a treat. Everyone in my party could not stop talking about how they wanted that next time we come. A cute brunch spot in Crosby. We stopped in on a Saturday late morning for a group brunch and waited about 30-45 min for a table. During that time, part of our group wanted a few doors down to the Saturday farmers market. Once seated, service and time to get food was appropriate for how busy it was. I ordered the not so hungry breakfast with scrambled eggs and hashbrowns and it was the perfect portion for someone who isn't that hungry but still wants to order. read more

Great breakfast place in Crosby. Service is great and the food comes out quick. Generous helpings so you won't leave hungry. Weekends can be busy but there is plenty of seating. Definitely a great spot after a weekend out mountain biking. read more

Was camping at the city campground and this place was a 4 block walk away. Beat family up on Saturday morning and walked over for Breakfast. Showed up just before 7am and had no troubles finding a seat. They offer both bar, booth and table seating. They must get on regular basis larger groups as they had booths and tables for 8. Server saw me sit and brought over a menu and asked for my drink order, coffee with cream and sugar. These promptly arrived moments later. Placed and order for the Starving Marvin, I mean you can't go wrong with bacon, eggs and hash browns. This too showed up in good order. When it did, sever asked if I would like any hot sauce. She offered, sriracha, chili oil and Tabasco. That was so cool. What other non Asian restaurant has chili oil, let alone offer it at breakfast? Meal was delicious and just the right way to start off the day. Will definitely be back when we are in area biking the Cuyuna! read more

The food and the service here is excellent. We started with appetizers ( Carmel roll and a cinnamon roll for the table). Hard to choose the winner but the cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting was the winner ( both are excellent). The waitress was excellent. We ordered egg's Benedict, eggs hash browns and toast, western omelet and ultimate mess. All were excellent. We will be back. read more

Stopped in this rainy summer Friday morning for breakfast. It was busy but the staff had smiles on their faces and were moving around as fast as they could taking care of everything. Food was decent, not great. Not worth the poor service. All four of us got something other than what we ordered. Since it took almost an hour to get it we just kept what we got. I don't think anyone was assigned to our table because we had to get our own menus and then waited 15 minutes for coffee and water. It was busy but not packed. read more

Phenomenal breakfast spot. Great energy, plus the wait staff is beyond friendly/helpful. Small town charm/friendliness pegged to a tee- even at 9:30 am there was only one table still available- it's that popular! Bonus was that one of the locals even bought my breakfast! Had breakfast here this morning as I often do on Sundays in autumn. Service is always fantastic and our waitress this time was spot on. Coffee refilled at just the right time checked on shortly after food was delivered and check brought just as I finished. I did not get her name but ... Good food, fast. The reason I am not giving 5 stars, is because we were told to wait Outside; someone would come and get us when a table was available. Outside. It was just a bit chilly that morning, so it was okay, but it rained earlier in the day, and again later. What then? Is this the rule in winter? There was no place to sit, either. read more

Great place for breakfast and lunch in town. The service was good and friendly. Got the S'mores waffle and it was great! Others ordered breakfast sandwiches and pancakes and were happy with their meal. Although there are not many places in town to choose from for breakfast this is perfect. Average price and great food. Food was excellent. Service was great despite the fact they were very busy on a Sunday at brunch. It's a very small cafe. Large parties can sit at a couple of different tables but the two in the back are back to back and it is VERY narrow and you can't squeeze by to the bathrooms in the back very easily when they are full. They do not allow strollers. Had to take ours out. On food alone I'd say 5 stars but for asking us to take out our stroller when their own table set up doesn't allow for people to pass while our stroller left plenty of room is a little annoying. And ask for your cinnamon roll early! They run out. read more
