This is such a charming store with a great selection and very reasonable prices! They offer a little bit of everything, making it a fun place to browse and shop. The store was exceptionally clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. During the summer, an Amish vendor comes in on Fridays to sell a variety of homemade baked goods, fresh eggs, and canned goods. Everything looked wonderful, and it was a great addition to the shopping experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already looking forward to our next trip! read more

This is a wonderful market that includes local and semi-local foods as well as additional non-food items, and is reminiscent of a food co-op. Robert and Linda McDowell started this store to provide bulk food options to the local area as well as to provide a variety of spices and other foods unavailable at a typical grocery store. For them, buying bulk is a cost savings way to live, and I happen to agree. They have nuts, dried fruits, candies, snacks, cheeses, meats, baking ingredients, and lots more. They also make and sell their own baked goods. In addition to the store items, they also have a deli and sell sandwiches. It's a "choose your ingredients" type service, they use their homemade bread, and they have enough variety to accommodate a hungry, choosey customer. We have visited quite a few times for lunch and have enjoyed it every time. The sandwiches are simple, delicious, and filling. I highly recommend Cherry Grove Market, especially for a quick and delicious sandwich. read more

Good products, their deli made a good sandwich. Prices are reasonable. Nice outdoor furniture.

I buy all my spices here every time I visit The Maynard Cabin in Long Prairie. The ham off the bone and Amish butter cheese is amazing for sandwiches (they also make sandwiches there). You can also find Amish chocolates and canned jellies and pickles, along with a small grocery area for butter and milk or seasonal veggies. Outside, you'll find wind chimes, chairs, and birdhouses for sales. Friendly service and a must stop if you're in the area. Plenty of parking, public restroom, all different kinds of flour, pastry filling, popcorn, and snacks. read more

Cherry Grove Market - Spices! Great prices! - Grocery Near Me - Browerville, Minnesota

First time here and upon arriving they have cute eagle and other bird hand crafted bird feeders hanging up for $28. I was tempted. This store is run by Mennonite people and they have electricity, electronic cash register and take credit cards. They did not have a mask required sign on the door and customers and employees weren't wearing them. I've had both vaccines and also removed mine. Wow I felt liberated. I found a flamingo and shape of MN cookie cutters for 99 cents each. I noticed a deli and ice cream. I chose a 1 scoop cone of Cherry rum. It was so big for $2 and yummy. My dog finished the bottom. Friendly staff. One could wear a mask if they want. read more

A favorite of ours! We travel from Brainerd to Cherry Grove Market in Browerville monthly. It is a wonderful source of local and semi-local foods, including very unique natural, fresh ground wheats, grains, and a lovely supply of fresh and frozen vegies and fruits. Many great non-food items also that you will not find elsewhere. Clean, polite, professionals to serve and answer your questions. As if that weren't enough, they offer fresh baked goods!!!! read more

This little market is such a hidden gem along the rural stretch of Highway 71 in Central Minnesota. I am not sure if the Amish Community owns the store or just manage it, but its all Amish women working here and they make most of the soup mixes, nut butters, and the produce is local. They also have canned fruits, homemade jams, salsa, etc. My favorite is the deli. They have the best homemade sub rolls and subs! They are super cheap, less than 5 dollars and are huge! Enough for two to share but being the oinker I am, I can eat a whole one when I am totally starving. Try one! They only have one brand of deli cheese and meats (Troyer) and its excellent quality and you will not find a better price anywhere. The cheeses are typically less than $5 per pound and a lot of the deli meats are anywhere from 5 to 7 Per Pound but the quality exceeds your typical grocery store brands. If I wasn't so lazy, I would get up and tell you the brand right now but I am too lazy. I just got back from my home town of Long Prairie so I grabbed me about five kinds of cheeses and some Cajun turkey breast which is the best!! You have to at least try that along with your sub or maybe get a Cajun turkey sub! Certain days of each week, they have baked goodies, bread, muffins, etc. I do not know the schedule since I don't live up there but the bread goes fast so if you don't get it in the morning, you will be out of luck! They have amazing chocolates right by the check out according to my sister. So much, in fact, that one lady in front of her just today bought the entire box of French chocolate mints. The box was over 16 pounds! The only reason I cannot rate five stars is because of the slow service. Maybe they are on to something by looking so peaceful and not being in a hurry, but do not stop here if you are in a hurry! I am warning you now! They only have one meat slicer and they slice very meticulously. If you are in line for the deli, be prepared to wait. No one moves quickly in Cherry Grove Market. There is nothing like this for miles so if you pull this up on yelp while in the area, just stop! You will thank me! read more

I love the quality of all of their items! And their prices are so good! Such a neat find along the highway. Planning to go back tomorrow on my way through town and stock up on some spices, canned fruits, pasta, cheese and ice cream. Love the atmosphere, the wholesome staff working there is a breath of fresh air in our current culture. 2 Thumbs up from me! read more
