Pretty much had to move the chairs closer so it could not get in between us as we were trying to eat our pizza. Just when the dog left I look in front of our table and there is a man with a bag of dog crap right in front of us waiting for his dog to pee in the grass. Wow!! Pretty damn gross. If you want dogs roaming off leash and multiple people walking around with bags of crap waiting for their dog to pee this is a place for you.

Everyone we talked to was really friendly, helpful, and quick with the service. It was right after they opened on a weekday so they weren't too busy. The taproom is fashioned like a viking longhouse and the layout is great for big get-togethers. Not to mention the sprawling campus with gorgeous views. The beer was all pretty solid. Nothing to warrant a trip by itself, but I enjoyed all of them. The Margherita is always my litmus test for a pizza joint and they delivered! The crust was light and airy, really flavorful, and the charring was perfect. The sauce was bright, mozzarella fresh, and the basil (correctly) added after the bake. The pretzel was just as well done. Really fluffy with a crisp crust and just the right amount of chew. Their rotating specialty pizzas all sound amazing so you know next time I'm in the area I'll stop in for a pretzel, pizza, and a few tasters.

Irish's Place could improve by better representing the Irish people! As an Irish Canadian I am…read moredisgusted by the overt hatred displayed on the sign in the window stating that farm workers born in other countries are unwelcome. These farm workers are good people who work local farms in order to provide food for local people... doing work which local people are unwilling to do. Lack of these workers would result in these farms failing followed by other losses of local businesses, likely including Irish's Place. All minority groups loathe seeing one of their own displaying uncivil behavior! That is why this Irish/Canadian girl is disgusted by the ignorant signage displayed in a window who's owner implies they themselves are Irish so would be former immigrants who were themselves very unwelcome and horribly treated by other Americans who were also immigrants though they had gotten there first, so felt they had the right to discriminate against the next person to come...just as this establishment is doing now. Think about it. Irish's Place should stop shaming their fellow Irish people and either get rid of their racist sign or change the name of their business. I know well the impact of immigration here in Canada and am proud, enriched and unharmed by the diversity of my neighborhood which includes all colors and religions so it cannot be said that I don't understand.
