I'm so glad we stopped because it was one of my favorite stops of our trip! The bartender was amazingly friendly and helpful. They normally have sandwiches and charcuterie but apparently their delivery was late so she wasn't comfortable with the quality and said we couldn't get food. That made me really love the place and respect them so much for the commitment to quality. Their cocktails sounded great but we opted for a flight of spirits we hadn't tried before. The sumac limoncello was one of the best liquors I've had and was incredibly interesting. I tried to grab one for my mom but they didn't have any bottles in stock. After talking with the bartender a bit she offered to give me a quick tour around the distillery and it was really cute! The taproom is bigger than the production area and a single distiller hand fills and labels every bottle that leaves the facility. I can't wait to get back and hope I can try some food next time.
