There is nothing quite as refreshing and tasty as a freshly made lemon drop. No artificial anything here. What a wonderful example of the specialized Martini trend made famous through the 90s and early 2000s. We also sampled a Swedish and Danish delicacy known as aquavit. If you are a fan of licorice or ouzo, give this delightfully pungent and aromatic beverage a try. We sampled it straight up, they may have it as a mix in for a drink but I'm not sure. Overall this place is a great experience and really knows their stuff. It was a joy to visit here and I think about it frequently when I remember my trip to Fargo.

We hadn't ever heard of it, but thought we'd give it a try. What a terrible mistake. The outside is ugly. It appears to be a steel industrial style building and has a sign with chipped,fading, and peeling paint. It's literally a stone's throw from the train tracks. We almost didn't go in. Inside was filled with mismatched tables situated too close together with vinyl table cloths with a tacky grape motif. The decor was what could generously be called eclectic. The service was adequate but not great. The food....was so bad we were to the point of laughing to keep our selves from crying that we had paid $18 per plate. Fatty, tasteless ham; greasy cod; flavorless vegetables; packaged mac and cheese; pastries that looked like they came from a package purchased at a c-store; omelets "made to order" that weren't cooked through. So, so, so bad. PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere else or stay home and make your own meal. Anything would be better than this!

And unfortunately, the awesomeness of the DJ doesn't make up for a bartender who is a bit of a jackass. If you're reading this review, ask to meet the bartender before you book. Don't take my word for it, but don't go in assuming you're getting a whiskey-pouring version of the DJ. That he ain't. Lastly, they are very serious about their outside alcohol policy. And while I understand this, obviously from a profit stand point, what was slightly less appreciated was the obvious lengths they went to in order to police that. It felt a little bit like every guest was deemed 'guilty until proven innocent' when it came to bringing in outside beverages. Maybe it was just us - perhaps we gave off a 'serious boozers' vibe that had them on their toes but regardless it felt over-the-top. If you're touring this space, take it all in. But ask all the questions you can think of because being caught unaware of certain things made a great day slightly less enjoyable.

They now have more wines and beers to chose from; and they have a great selection of hard alcohol too. The thing I like the best about them is their beer selection. They have a wonderful microbrew section and it's continually changing throughout the year. Lots of brews here that you won't find anywhere else!
