If I had any musical talent I might write a love song to Milk & Honey Ciders -- they're that good. The Cidery is located about five minutes outside of the town of St. Joseph (I recommend stopping at Krewe and Flour & Flower if you make a stop there). There's ample parking on site, and the inside and outside seating are equally lovely. Be sure to check their social media to see if there are upcoming musical acts or food trucks that will be onsite. But even without either, Milk & Honey is a great place to spend an afternoon. My go to favorite is the Chaga Chai (Aged on chaga, chicory, dandelion, burdock, and licorice along with a blend of aromatic spices, according to their website). They also have a great seasonal pineapple coconut cider in the summer. Their Pommeau (apple brandy blended with juice, which is aged for two years in barrels) makes for a great gift. I have zero complaints, only compliments about Milk & Honey Ciders!

Great spot off the beaten path but close to the city. There is a great variety of ciders whether you like beer or cider there is something for everyone! My personal favorite was the Rose cider sweet but still dry. This venue also has live music and the outside space was very large to accommodate many people. Definitely worth a stop to check out for any cider lover!

I have now gotten to this wonderful Cidery in St. Joseph twice, and can say that each time was a lovely experience. What a beautiful property! You pull into a long gravel road which has plenty of space for party. At night it was lit up with string lights and a fire was going out on the patio area. The wooden building is charming. Inside the taproom it has a warm and cozy vibe in this wooden tap room. Both times I have been there the service was awesome. They were so nice and great at sharing info about not only their cider but, the ciders they sell from other places. It's really cool! I love Alchemy Ice Cider. Its a cider coming in at 11.5 abv because it's bourbon barrel aged. They freeze the apples which creates more concentrated sugar and higher alcohol content. It is amazing! Since it's cold out they also had a hot cider during our recent stop that was really good!

A friend raves about this place so I've been wanting to check it out for a while. I deceived to check it out on Saturday night since I saw an event for burritos and yard games. This place is located right off the highway down a side road and you might drive right on by it. When we pulled up, I could see everyone sitting outside, drinking cider around the fire, eating burritos and playing yard games. We went inside and ordered a cider flight. The bartender was super helpful and made some recommendations for our flight. I love the quality and effort that goes into making the cider. The ciders I tried weren't too sweet and had very nice flavors. I loved sampling a few of the ciders while enjoying the Minnestoa weather. I think I wish the cider was a bit more bubbly. Overall, this place is adorable and has great cider. It's kid friendly too. I would definitely recommend Milk & Honey!

I feel lucky to have stumbled into Milk & Honey. What an amazing property with the kindest bartenders waiting to help you. We were driving to South Dakota when my wife asked me to look up our cider options. I quickly hopped on Yelp, and we were 2 miles from this place. What a gem! One of the best parts? It's literally 1 mile off the highway. So, for those of you traveling, you do not want to skip this place! When we walked in there were only 3 other patrons. Winning! The bartender explained how it worked. Winning! We order a flight of many of the infused ciders. Winning! Lemon and rosemary cider. Winning! Rose cider. Winning! I wish they bottled their infused ciders so we could have enjoyed them on our road trip. They do have their regular ciders in bottles.

I'm pretty sure that Milk and Honey is the first cidery I've ever heard of. While I'm certain there are others, it's the only one in the greater Saint Cloud region. As for the good, they have several cider choices to choose from, off-sale options to take home with you, and serve limited food items. Staff have always seemed friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and if you aren't sure what you'd like, choose a flight to sample them all. The things that set this place back a little is that it's overpriced, not very big, off the beaten path, and a lot of the ciders tasted bland to me. This last aspect is the most subjective, so don't let it dissuade you from making a visit. They have stiff competition from Bad Habit brewery just down the road, but the latter is often packed, so it may be worth a short trip to have a few beers in a quieter atmosphere.

I've never been disappointed! All of the ciders are delicious and taproom is beautiful. Just outside of St. Joe, MN, Milk & Honey is right off of 35 and worth a stop if you're in the area or heading up north. My favorite is Fauna, but again, you can't go wrong with any brew. Because I was there on St. Patty's Day weekend, I was able to get their Black Velvet, which was Guinness and a cider mix. So good!
Milk & Honey is one of the real treats in Central MN. Located just a short drive outside of St. Joseph, you will find it. The venue and location are absolutely beautiful and quite quaint. They have a few year-round options that you can't go wrong with, but I love trying their rotating and experimental options the most. You can tell the love and care they put into the product. They typically will have some sort of charcuterie option, and those are a must. I've never had a better apple than here, and it makes sense. The cheese offerings are always delicious as well. In my experience, the service is top tier as well. The kind where they offer suggestions and have conversations with you. Must stop! read more
I'll start by pointing out that we aren't cider drinkers. Still, this stop was on the passport and we were within range, so, we stopped. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL. I could come just to wander around and be happy, but that doesn't get the pages stamped, so, in we went. The gal working asked what we like & we told her we don't typically like ciders. We prefer dry wines and dark beers & that the hubs likes his IPAs. She suggested we try the 2 specific ciders the 1 for me based on my wine preferences & the 1 for the hubs based on his love of IPAs. She nailed it. They were both good choices and we each preferred the one she recommended for us, individually. We did sample a sweeter option and, nope, still no go. read more
When it comes to cider beer and it's popularity now, Milk and Honey brewery in Saint Joseph MN- My opinion hands down, they produces one of the best well balance cider; between flavor and acidity of the apple to its alcohol content. So a well balance cider that Ciera lovers will fall in love. The best thing is that Milk and Honey grows their own apples to create the unique mix of their ciders. They have seasonal ciders and today in season was the tart cherry cider. Ambience is scenic and tranquil. We went on a Sunday afternoon and drink outside to watch the mini hills and apple orchards it's surrounded by. Drinks: Tart Cherry cider : a nice sweet cherry taste with a mild tartness and refreshing fruity flavor. Delicious! Little Dipper cider: more sweetened cider with less alcohol taste and content but the delicious apple taste - this a good beginning intro cider to most people. Delicious! Overall: very beautiful place nestled outside of St. Joseph. Cider comparable is the best cider in my opinion. The place and venue is very beautiful and would love it to see it in the winter. My only critique is that - the brewery is a much smaller brewery than you think. So don't think that is the massive brewery you're are thinking of. read more

A surprise to find in the middle of nowhere...I mean ...Collegeville. The vibe, decor, and service was in point. I got the chai cider which was delicious: not overly sweet, but tart and the warm spices came through. Came when they were doing yoga out on the grass so that was cool to witness. They have board games atop the refrigerator if you want to play outdoors in the rustic but chic environment. Happy solstice indeed! read more

I was here in September as a vendor to DJ for a wedding and I have only good things to say about this venue! The owner Peter was a knight in shining armor, when I realized there was no power for the ceremony space he set up their own bluetooth-capable speakers and helped me run the music through those. The bartender with blonde curly hair was also incredible and so helpful, we had to move the stage around a little and it was raining while setting up so we fought with a canopy for a bit, thankfully we didn't end up needing it and the rain cleared up in time but I was thankful to have the option if needed. The reception was set up perfectly but the weather was a little cold so the guests were all gathered around the bonfires or dancing directly under the heaters but I know they all had a great time. I would love the opportunity to come back to DJ for another event here or even stop by to visit their Cidery! read more
I've been here twice in the summer for a Church of Cash live music event. They have a stage and you can bring your own lawn chair. Super fun outing; cider was delicious, food truck type food tasty! I look forward to an encore performance down the road. read more

Cozy, non-nonsense tasting room with a tiny stage for acoustic music. Weekends are super fun and busy! Therefore, you should be prepared to wait a while to receive service. Small cheese plate/charcuterie available, but you can bring food and snacks. Usually, a fried chicken food truck is there on weekends. Family and dog friendly. They stock a nice warm bonfire outside in the fall next to the kids playground. read more

Went here to see the band China Rider (great band). This was only the second show at their new outdoor amphitheater. Very nice place to see live music and enjoy some tasty hard ciders. Staff was very friendly and location very easy to get to. Highly recommend as they have a summer booked with a lot of fun music. Bring lawn chairs and dogs are welcome at outdoor venue. read more

I am a grandmother technophobe. Milk & Honey Ciders is a favorite of my kids. My granddaughter's birthday present was a gift card from Milk & Honey. I placed the incorrect email 3x. I called & spoke to Stacy on a very busy Saturday night & she took care of my mistake & issued the gift card! She saved my granddaughter's birthday & me! I highly recommend St. Joseph's Milk & Honey Ciders! Very kind & professional customer service. read more

Always a good time coming here. The ciders are top notch. The vibe is laid back and friendly. A gem of a place.

Visited here with a group of women on a "mystery weekend" tour with GirlTime Getaways... and this was our first stop. They opened early for us (8:30am) so we were able to have a private tasting and tour. Very fun, but relaxing, place to visit. Highly recommend! read more

First, let me start by saying that I love cider. I. Love. Cider. When I heard that there was a cider taproom, I heard about it from a staff member and I couldn't stop myself from immediately asking her if she would recommend it. Naturally, she did. I got a tasting flight because I made it my mission to try every cider available that night. Luckily, my compatriots purchased ciders that were not in my tasting flight. I love the little tasting glasses, and their solution for carrying a selection of tasting glasses is ingenious. You have to see it because it's difficult to put into written text. Okay, for a cider aficionado, this could be really fun because you get to taste a bunch of ciders and assess your favorite. For a person new to ciders, this could be a really great opportunity to figure out what you like most about ciders. None of the ciders tasted particularly like apple juice or the ciders that you can grab at the grocery store, but they were all lovely. The atmosphere is very romantic. Inside it feels kinda like a barn with exposed beams and lightbulbs strung about. Warm but low light, and you need to lean forward to hear what your date is saying over the other conversations, but well worth it. SO FUN. read more

Consider me shocked. M&H isn't rinky-dink. It's not even ranky-dank. This is a surprisingly nice taproom. I don't know what the hell it's doing in the Saint Cloud suburbs, but I, for one, am glad it is doing it there. The cider is pretty decent, but it's worth a visit just for the atmosphere. They also serve cheese plates (from Redhead Creamery!), pizza, and pretzels, and have no problem with BYOFood. True, it can get a bit loud, but so can I (especially post-cider), and I certainly merit 5 stars, so let's grant them to M&H too, shall we? read more

Awesome, newly opened cider tap room, just off Hwy. 94 outside the twin cities. Great variety of flavors with a comfortable indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Friendly staff even though they were extremely busy! Great venue for an afternoon escape. Outdoor patio is not completed but still enough temporary seating. Local Food vendors and suppliers plus other snacks on hand. Beautiful view of rolling hills. Can't wait to see how this place evolves! read more

Stopped for a cider after lunch, 2nd time here. 1st Time was treated to an impromptu tour. The Heirloom is a crowd pleaser. Tap room is welcoming, rustic but stylish- vintage clusters of prints, open & sleek. It sits in an open field which is charming & unique. Great cider menu variety & minimal food items- think frozen pizzas, brie/apple/crackers. Took cider to go both times. Very helpful service. read more
