A newly remodeled little spot in Princeton! It has a ship theme which is clear the minute you walk in. We came here on a Sunday morning with a large party and were able to secure a reservation beforehand. The staff was kind and accommodating with our party, which was appreciated. They have a nice assortment of games and you can also have dogs indoors which is neat since not all breweries allow it. When we went, there was a Mexican food truck that was tasty. My spouse enjoyed a couple of their sours, and the rest of the party enjoyed seltzers and some more of their beer selection. The teenager in our group enjoyed the selection of pop. The only thing that would make me experience better is some more non-alcoholic but crafty selections. I don't drink much and always appreciate when there's a kombucha on tap or even in a can.

We stopped by on our way up to Bay Lake for Labor Day Weekend. I've seen a decent amount of positive press about this newer brewery, so it definitely perked our interest as it's right off 169 on the way up north. Plenty of lot parking available outside this fun, converted shipwreck/boat maintenance shop. Just look for the lighthouse...you can't miss it! The space itself is really fun...a mix of modern nautical-themed interior with some historical accents! The owners and their kids staffed the brewery, and provided lovely hospitality while we played a round of cribbage with our brews! The beer itself was good! Nothing too creative on their menu yet, but I'm sure they will start to push the envelope as they get their footing! Definitely recommend this spot if you're sick of sitting in traffic on your way north or need a good brew with your crew!

Stopped by Sunken Ship on my way back from a trip up north. Apparently it was their grand re-opening weekend and it was packed! Good for them, hope they continue the good attendance. There was a food truck outside which was fantastic. I got some sort of sandwich with chips. On the more pricey side for the amount of food but it was really good. The beer was also fantastic. A little hard to order just because of the overwhelming amount of customers. But the sour I got was really awesome, and I would definitely go back for more. Much better pit stop than McDonald's after a fun trip to Brainerd!

This brewery is new and super clean. The bar tender was friendly. We usually get a flight when we first try a brewery so we can figure out what we like for next time. You can choose up to 8. We had several IPA's, 2 dessert stouts, several sours and a light beer. They were all good but we were very impressed with the stouts. The other customers were friendly and talked about events they have. We will definitely return.

NEW brewery in Princeton. Since it was a new brewery we asked about a sample but were rebuffed, they insinuated we were being cheap instead of buying a flight. A couple of our group were adventurous and picked a pint (they were okay with what they got). We tried the flight-most were good. I was disappointed that the ladies working the bar were so unhappy and hope they find some good staff. Until then, we will frequent other breweries that do offer a small sample before you buy a pint (or growler fill).

I entered to a spacious tap room! Shortly after two people appeared; i assumed one was my beertender, the other, possibly a patron...maybe a regular? As we all started chatting....oh no, not just a patron, or regular. Owner! Co-owner/brewer Brett! Aces! My luck put me right in my wheelhouse, i enjoy chatting up owners and brewers! As we began chatting he asked if I'd been to Garphish? Uncommon Loon? I very much appreciated him sharing the craft beer community love, we all want everyone to succeed! We spent a lot of time talking beers styles and just brewing in general....a wealth of knowledge shared and discussed. I opted for a flight w the intent to drink through the tap list then.... decided this would have to be a two or three trip adventure. I was grateful that most the beers were lower ABV. The beer was as delicious as the conversation was enjoyable. I liked how spacious the tap room was, the large windows for natural light, the big parking lot and that you could see the brew house. Beertender Diane was lovely and too kind. She kept apologizing for it not being busier, to which I would say: no, this is exactly how I like it. She'd also apologize when she was working...ohh...stop. ha. I love the table tops!! Don't let the Isanti address scare you, it's really not that far of a drive from the burbs and even if it is... I assure you Thunder Brothers is worth the drive!! Delicious beer, just a delightful brewer and a the loveliest beertender. Don't skip Thunder Brothers, in fact, make sure you put it on your list to get out to. Cheers and thanks Thunder Brothers for such an enjoyable and memorable inaugural visit, cheers!
