We went in on a Friday afternoon. It was friendly and customers were coming in steadily. There were plenty of options for seating and a variety of patrons including a toddler and dog so they are dog and child friendly. The beer was good and there were options to order food to be delivered. This brewery is located in a great area to stop by and have a beer or come in, hang out inside or on the the patio and stay a while.

Seeking to check out more of the Minnesota craft beer scene during my most recent visit, I made my way to 10k Brewing to do just that! STAR #1: Located in the heart of downtown Anoka they are easy to find and offer ample parking, an outdoor patio space, large indoor taproom, and private event space. Whoa! STAR #2: The Piña Colada Sour was FIRE! Tropical, juicy, and just tart enough. I def wish I had some room to bring back a crowler of that delicious brew. STAR #3: A variety of super cute Minnesota inspired art is proudly displayed on the walls. STAR #4: They offer tons of fun merch to the left of the entrance and bar. Swag options include: sweaters, shirts, hats, glasses, and more! So don't forget to grab a little something. When in Minnesota, I'll gladly make my way back to 10k Brewing to check out their latest offerings. Cheers, Anoka! **Pro Tip: Don't forget to follow them on social to stay up to date with all the taproom happenings!

One of our favorite local breweries. This was one of the first breweries we went to when we started getting into craft beers and when breweries started popping up all over. We have enjoyed many beers here. Love the patio, lots of shops and eateries nearby. I especially love how old the building is and how they haven't changed much. I grew up in anoka so the area is familiar and fun to reminisce. Workers are friendly and beer is great. I love the unique flavors. Especially a recent banana one! Please keep up the creative and unique flavors for us flavor snobs ;)

Stopped here with a group of friends on a Saturday afternoon. Downtown Anoka was hopping, but there's plenty of nearby parking. The bar was busy, but we were still able to find seating for seven. They have a wide variety of beverage options (beer, n/a beer, seltzer, soda, flights. They regularly host food trucks and bands. There were both kids and dogs in the bar. My IPA was delicious! Staff would wander by occasionally to pick up empty glasses.

My friend and I decided to try 10K last night even though we are not big beer drinkers. Wanted to show our support to one of our neighborhood breweries during these hard times. Such a cute place with ample seating inside. Because of the pandemic they have patio seating available now as well. We walked in not knowing what to order. Since they only serve beer we decided to try something light. The bartender was very helpful and suggested couple different beers. We decided to go with Babe the Blueberry OX. To my own surprise I liked it quiet a bit. They have snacks you can purchase if you want a little something to much on. Otherwise there's a few restaurants around there you can order from. All within walking distance. We grabbed our beers, walked next door to grab some food and sat outside to get our Vit D. Great place to hangout with friends and catch up or for a date night. All in all we had a great experience.

By far one of the most lovely breweries we have ventured to. The space is comfy, welcoming and inviting. The beer is actually great with a nice selection of styles. They also have cool swag. The staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back! It was a destination for us and it will not be our last visit.

I've been to 10K a few times now, and I just don't care for it. It's unfortunate that our last visit was on a Sunday, because apparently they don't tap new kegs until Monday. They run out of some of their beers every weekend, and they are very proud of that! I'm not sure why poor planning is something to be proud of, and he couldn't explain it to me. As you can probably imagine, they run out of the good, popular beers. My favorite was no exception. I was told that the Albino Loon blonde stout tastes just like a dark beer, but it was the hoppiest stout I've ever had. I wouldn't call it a stout, but they do! The bartender told me, "drink it with your eyes closed, and you won't know it's a dark beer!" which makes me think it's been quite some time since he had a real stout. I find the space to be uncomfortable. I prefer to have my own table, but I also don't like sitting at high top tables, so we have sat at a very long table in the middle of the room. Luckily, this time I got a chair at the end instead of sitting on the bench with no back! They did have some fun games which we enjoyed, including a beer trivia! My Milwaukee-born spouse beat me handily, but it was still fun. It was quite busy when we arrived at 3pm, but by 4pm, there was a musician starting. He was pretty good, very mellow, folksy music, but it's just a very small space for any kind of performance. 3 stars for location, gender neutral bathrooms, and their real (dark) stout; minus one star for service, and minus another for small beer selection at the weekend.

Nice space with high tops, low tops and picnic tables plus a bar. Bartenders were very friendly. Right in downtown Anoka so you have options for food delivery since there is none onsite. The only reason for dropping a couple of stars was that we didn't like the beer. We tried two, and they both had a funky taste. If we're in the area again, we'll probably give them another try, but just didn't love the first experience.

After my less than par experiences at OMNI brewing in Maple Grove, 10k is a winner. IMHO, I think OMNI rushed their opening and in doing so, seemed very unprofessional and lacking in the beer department. Even though 10K has delayed their opening a few times, they did it the right way and delivered not only with friendly service, but very good beer to boot. I'm very excited for these guys and also excited to see how the community responds to it's first local brewery in oomph amount of years... I was a huge fan of the Sweet Vanilla Oatmeal stout. Flights are $8. (They didn't even have flights at OMNI?!) Loved the penny floors in the bathroom and the reclaimed wood/brick walls for the interior. If I had one critique, it'd be the lighting. I'm a big ambiance kind of guy so I like soft white lights, but it seems to have more of a fluorescent/cool white feel.

Still love it but music is too loud sometimes. We were talking until we were yelling. It's a relaxing pub not a club.

I like Omni a little more than i thought i could, is that a thing? When after doing some googling i found out several years ago when i would somewhat frequently pop in @ open & always sat near the corner, where an employee also was...so id chat him up about beeriness. He was always friendly & informative & never once slid in: hey im justin... co-owner justin. We always just chatted like two beer enthusiasts. Its this thing i do... & rarely ever ask a name. Thanks Omni for consistently having friendly staff pouring delicious beers in a comfortable & welcoming tap room, cheers.

Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.
