Yes, it takes time from placing the order to actual install, but the wait is worth it for the quality of product and service they provide. During the install, the shower pan cracked- not their fault, and Doug went to the nth degree to get the pan replaced as it was under warranty still (ended up a manufacturing defect). He didn't have to, as HC&S didn't install it. But he made all the phone calls, not I. With that level of customer care in this day, it is truly awesome!

I discovered the business is under new ownership and the service was amazing. In just a few minutes I was able to get a quote because I had the measurements of the area I needed granite for. We picked out a slab, had them come out to do templates for the work to be done and in a short time, it was done. They did exactly what they said they would do and did it on the agreed time. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is epic. Our bathrooms are updated and probably raised the value of our home by twice what we paid. I recommend them highly. I had an insurance business for almost 40 years. I am impressed with PCG and hope you contact them when you are ready to build or upgrade your home or business. Sincerely, Paul Nicholson

Travis at Humboldt Renovation and Design is someone you can trust and gets the work done in a…read moretimely manner. I found Travis through the Yelp "My projects" section where I was trying to find a contractor to help us fix a leak in our guest bedroom. We couldn't find where the leak was coming from and I was trying to get price estimates from different contractors to solve the problem. Most of the contractors said they couldn't give a real estimate till they started doing the full project which seemed understandable. What stood out about Travis though is that he made the effort to say for $100 he would assess the issue by cutting out a piece of my drywall and give me a proper estimate. My fiancé and I were on board and happy to see someone take initiative like Travis. Travis then went on to find a pinhole leak in one of our old copper pipes and he right away gave us an estimate that was much more reasonable than other contractors we spoke with. Travis went on to fix our leaky pipes and found out that we replaced the wrong pipe. There was a pipe above the one we saw that was actually the cause of the leak. Travis messaged me and said that he would only charge for the additional pieces (no additional labor for his work), which was super generous and understanding of him. We got this repair done and out of the way in an efficient manner thanks to Travis' diligence. My fiance and I are now having Humboldt Renovation help us replace carpet in our house for "hardwood" vinyl, replacing our shower, and putting in a new dryer vent. I additionally want to add that I has also asked him to replace both of our garage door openers which we signed up to do and later on found out it was covered through our home warranty program. Even though I already signed for Travis to do the work, he was very understanding and let us get the repair done instead by our home warranty service. Humboldt Renovation and Design will be the only contractor we will be using around our house. He is a great person with a sweet family and does great work. Thank you Travis!!!
