On my last visit, I was approached by over 15 different employees constantly asking if I needed help and hovering while I browsed. I purchase their Diamond Naturals dog food in the lamb and rice flavor. Sometimes when I go to buy more food, they're out. The last time this happened, a cashier suggested that I visit customer service to get a rain check. I didn't have to pay for the items prior, but it was nice to have an employee order it for me on the spot, and then call me when the item arrived. Upon suggestion of the employee, I decided to order two bags of the food instead of one, since there can be shortages and delays due to some of the recent fires in California. It never hurts to have a backup! Within a couple of days, I got a call from the employee letting me know the food had arrived. I went back to customer service, and the worker offered to meet me up at the register with my bags. On my way to the register I stumbled upon a very large and heavily discounted planter, and I had to have it! I'm thankful that I am able to get such top notch assistance any time that they don't happen to have the item I'm looking for on the day I'm in. I signed up for customer rewards and on occasion I'll get coupons via email, which is great! I also appreciate that they are a dog friendly store, and I like to take my pup in sometimes to let her choose a toy. I will continue to shop here regularly!

So I went here for exactly that. But as soon as I walked in the store they were giving me weird looks. I'm use to this because I have tattoos on my neck. I immediately felt a sense of awkwardness based on the looks they were giving me. I spoke with a nice gentlemen at the front and told him what I'm looking for. He was a little standoffish. These are country hicks that obviously are a lil bias based on people's looks. He told me his boss is on the ranch but will be back later and can give me a price on what I want. His boss calls and says "no I can't make what you want". Funny because they said they could make whatever I want but now can't make it at all. If Ya want to be treated like you matter as a customer, this isn't the place for you.

I have bought lots and lots of stuff from here mostly because of the friendly atmosphere, and the quality of stuff is pretty good, even though the inventory pretty much never changes. Even so, it's my favorite antique store in fortuna or eureka. I would recommend this place to anyone. The back 2 rooms have lots of auto and racing stuff and beer signage , and the back two rooms are 50 percent off as of now (5/20/18). That would usually be the first place I would make a beeline for. Got a really nice auto parts store sign once here for a good price.

I wasn't too sure they were actually DPC's because of the price ($12), but low and behold they are authentic DPC hats, and the shipping was only $6.88 for 2. Note: it's advertised as a safari style rush straw hat, s384, with no mention of the name DPC, which if I'm selling them I'd brag about the brand.
