I continue to go here now that my dog is almost three and I still absolutely adore them. The employees and manager remember us and make a big fuss about seeing him. Which is may seem silly to some, but seriously makes me feel so welcome. Also, they even remember what we get and do! We use their bath room (which for $10 is a STEAL) and they always go "Oh time for a bath!?", when we walk in and tell us if it is busy or not. And I have massive very hairy dog and they always make sure we have enough towels and act like we are nothing to clean up after. Which I know isn't true, he is part malamute so hair is everywhere! I love having Tractor Supply here in Fortuna. I most often purchase dog food and dog toys. They carry lots of name brand dog toys like Kong, that really stand up to tough chewers. I purchase their Diamond Naturals dog food in the lamb and rice flavor. Sometimes when I go to buy more food, they're out. The last time this happened, a cashier suggested that I visit customer service to get a rain check. I didn't have to pay for the items prior, but it was nice to have an employee order it for me on the spot, and then call me when the item arrived. Upon suggestion of the employee, I decided to order two bags of the food instead of one, since there can be shortages and delays due to some of the recent fires in California. It never hurts to have a backup! Within a couple of days, I got a call from the employee letting me know the food had arrived. I went back to customer service, and the worker offered to meet me up at the register with my bags. On my way to the register I stumbled upon a very large and heavily discounted planter, and I had to have it! I'm thankful that I am able to get such top notch assistance any time that they don't happen to have the item I'm looking for on the day I'm in. I signed up for customer rewards and on occasion I'll get coupons via email, which is great! I also appreciate that they are a dog friendly store, and I like to take my pup in sometimes to let her choose a toy. I will continue to shop here regularly! read more

We needed to purchase a dog kennel. We got excellent help finding a locating the kennel. The manager Dennis was very helpful. There are roosters in the parking lot that get dumped off at dump next door and they are super entertaining. Great selection of stuff and friendly staff. read more

In my opinion He spoke very condescendingly to the staff and made jokes about upping the price on bandanna's since the store has a lot of them in stock. This review is about the website , this store is great, do not use there website ,it's a major scam. It tells you your ordering from your local store,but your not ,it's pulling product from where ever it wants, employees are not allowed to contact the customer ,even when the web site states the item is in stock ,in your LOCAL store. It also refuses to cancel an order and sends it to you despite ,cancelation confirmation numbers ect.. I canceled a dog food order twice ,and here it sits ,on my porch ,I now have to go into my local store and return it , even after canceling it twice !!!! Customer services informed me that it just pulls product from wherever it feels like even when the website States. Today after completing my weekly dump with a buddy of mine, I stopped by Tractor Supply to pick up some sanding wheels, shop towels, saw saw blades and a couple other supplies I was running low on that I use daily running my own small business working as an Independent Contractor. Like many times before "being a frequent customer" I grabbed a few items, purchased them at the front register, and was on my way when my buddy who was waiting outside begin explaining to me 'How one of the Tractor Supply Employees by the name Jenny who he knew from high school many years ago, was blandly slandering me accusing me of being a thief who she seen on a local website called "Humboldt Thieves" and making other fabricated and derogatory comments about me. I was immediately taken back and insulted "never being branded with such offensive labels in my life", so i walked back into Tractor Supply to see to these accusations and Jenny herself approached me and continued to make the same outlandish remarks towards me. I maintained my composer knowing that she clearly had me confused by someone else asking her to revisit that website and she would clearly see I was no thief. She did so and as expected could not find the posting of the person she implied was me and out of frustration said "she should just kick me out anyway" and told me to "lay of the drugs" before stomping back into the store. I am completely taken back by the harassment I was subjected to by the unbalanced lunatic employee (Allegedly) A.K.A (MANAGER) named Jenny and will be taking this directly to management in hopes that no-one will ever be treated with such dis-respect or vulgarity as long as that place is still open for business.!!!!!! read more

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I'm upset over the way I was treated. The manager, Mike, was worthless. He wasted 20 minutes of my time trying to convince me that pelletized Lyme was an appropriate item when powdered Lyme was specifically what I needed, and had asked for. Then he spent another 20 minutes trying to "find" it. The only reason he did was because I'd refused to give up, explaining repeatedly that I'd called earlier and confirmed that they had what I needed in stock. When he finally "found" it, he told me that it was in a location too difficult to retrieve and asked if I was sure I really wanted it. He sat there, looking at me as if I was stupid, explaining that he'd need to get a forklift to move a pallet out of the way to get to it. Then, he grabs the oldest guy at the store to do this and disappears. 10 minutes later, he still hadn't returned. When I complained, the employee practically begged me to speak with the supervisor, explaining that they've had problems with Mike for awhile, but nothing had ever been done about it. The other manager, Anne, was the total opposite of Mike. She brought us into the back, and together, my friends and I formed a chain to pass the bags up to the cart. She then proceeded to give us a 15% discount for our troubles. I'll certainly be following up with a complaint to their corporate office. As a manager of a local business, they won't be getting any additional visits from me until they get rid of that lazy, incompetent excuse for a manager, Mike. read more

Received a toolbox for Christmas, but turns out it was the wrong size. Took it back for a refund but could only get a gift card(which was understandable). Had them order a size to fit my truck after trying for an hour, they said they would call me in a week when it arrives. A week and half later i call because i didn't get a call, after 20 min. on the phone they said it was never ordered. so i then placed my order again and they said in a week. Well same situation, call back different guy says it never got ordered and hes the only one who can order it.( I called a total of 4 times, 3 different guys said they ordered it) Tried to order it once again and he says they don't make a size for my truck even that the very beginning they told me it would fit. Eventually he says he finds one but i have to go there to order and pay for it. i Send a friend there because i live an hour away, and she calls me and tells me they wont let her order it, i have to be the one to do it even tho all the money is on a gift card they gave me. So after 2 months of trying to order a toolbox i ask if they can just refund me the money back to the credit card so i can take my business elsewhere. still nope. needless to say i will not be back to this place read more
