Just had a beautiful stone installed in my kitchen by Kevin and Bryan and I am obsessed!!! They did a stunning job and it's obvious they take pride in their work. Super nice folks to chat with too. It was a super fast turnaround time, about 2 weeks from choosing stone to install. I used another company at my previous house and it took around 12 weeks. Thank you! read more

Recently my wife and I decided to update our bathrooms. Pacific Crest Granite has done work for us before and we were pleased. We were looking forward to working with them again. I discovered the business is under new ownership and the service was amazing. In just a few minutes I was able to get a quote because I had the measurements of the area I needed granite for. The professionalism was outstanding. They had so many choices and explained all very clearly. We picked out a slab, had them come out to do templates for the work to be done and in a short time, it was done. They did exactly what they said they would do and did it on the agreed time. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is epic. Our bathrooms are updated and probably raised the value of our home by twice what we paid. I recommend them highly. I had an insurance business for almost 40 years. I am impressed with PCG and hope you contact them when you are ready to build or upgrade your home or business. Sincerely, Paul Nicholson read more

We recently did a bathroom remodel and decided to use Pacific Crest Granite on the advice of our contractor. We were so overwhelmed by all the beautiful stone in the store but Mary helped us out right away. We found the perfect counter top within an hour. They installed it today and it is beautiful. We highly recommend them. read more

Pacific Crest Granite & Staff are perfection. We are lucky in our small Humboldt Co area to have their expertise & dedication to their customers. Mary & Blake will go above & beyond to help find the perfect stone for any remodel & they certainly did that for us! We have the most beautiful bathroom & kitchen countertops that would be the envy of any HGTV professional. And we could not have accomplished that feat without their dedication to our projects. Shout out to Kevin & Cory for a most seamless installation. I will be eternally grateful for all your hard work even on the weekends (Mary) to see to it that all my remodel dreams did indeed come true! Gini R read more

We had a difficult, drawn out kitchen remodel and by the time we got to countertops we were at our wits end. Sylvia got her crew out quickly to template and while it takes some time to fabricate, they were back in a couple weeks to install. Their work is very high quality and custom. We found the customer service to be responsive and when we had a very slight issue their resolution went above and beyond. We're doing a remodel on a rental property now and we will be using them for both kitchen and bathroom vanities. It's not cheap, it's not as fast as laminate but the quality remains long after the wait is over. read more

Pacific Crest Granite - Soapstone counters and stove backsplash by PCG - Kitchen & Bath Near Me - Eureka, California

Great place to get absolutely hosed. The price gouging on the slab was unreal. Literally another $3300 on the exact piece of slab another place was able to get me. I understand mark up, but just ridiculous that they would try to do this much! Can't speak for their work, as I would never give them my business after seeing their quote. The fabrication and install prices were quoted as the industry standard, and I found the communication to be good as well. Hence the 2 stars instead of 1. Do your homework, people! read more

I can't say enough positive about this business. I've read previous (long and old) review. This is a different company now. New owners. Blake, Kevin and Mary These people were thoughtful, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Truly no job is too small. We were looking at remnants, and they gave us a tour as if we were high end customers. Blake took our order and truly went above and beyond with less than a week turnaround. The final project is beautiful!!! The showroom is earth's museum. We are lucky to be able to have this kind of quality in our community. The communication was always available and clear. The quality and skill is perfection. I highly recommend this business for big and small projects. Especially if you want that Wow factor. The price point is fair and having a local exquisite showroom , stone masons, fabricators and installers is greater than you think. Doing any projects with an out if town company would be difficult. I am so glad to have discovered this local business. Don't let the older reviews influence you - it's under new ownership and I found them knowledgeable, helpful and more than fair. The "Sylvia" referenced in past reviews was the previous owner (I made sure to double check on that!!) There aren't a lot of options here, so feeling comfortable with a big decision (especially when it's going to be a part of your home for years to come) is important to me. Here is my experience - Blake showed me several options and there was no pressure to upsell (in fact, he encouraged me to go a less expensive route!) While making my decision, he kept in touch (but not pushy), and went out of his way to double check with my contractor to be sure the design and dimensions were exact. It's easy to see that these new owners are motivated to earn a reputation in our community worthy of 5 stars. And for me, they hit the mark. I wholeheartedly recommend you stop into their showroom to see what they can do for you. Just seeing some of the work they have done, as well as the amazing options in the showroom is worth the trip. Thanks again to Blake and team for providing the showpiece of my project. read more

Wonderful customer service, so sweet and answers all your questions and very helpful. I give this place a five star.

I walked in to the storefront in Eureka in mid December of 2020 to see if I could get a small piece of stone to top my wine bar, 12"x42 3/4". I met Silvia who assured me we could locate a good piece that would fit my dimensions, as I was giving her my contact info she told me that if I called her with my 209 area code she wouldn't answer because she is having personal issues with a 209 area code. Ok, strange, that is my business phone line, but no biggie, ill call you from my land line that meets the required 707 area code. Fast forward to three months later, I have yet to receive any proactive communication from Silvia, and have had to call weekly to check on the progress of this piece. In the Pacific Crest Grant mission statement it is clearly stated that there is no job too small or large. During my interactions with Pacific Crest Granite, Silvia in particular, I have been made to feel very small indeed. Silvia, I later came to discover was the owner when I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to about this erroneous delay. She finally told me on my phone call with her (March 16th 2021) that my project will not take precedence over the countertops, directly conflicting her mission statement. I called again today hoping the project was done, more excuses, the piece they cut is too cracked but she'd be happy to cut another and I could wait an undisclosed amount of time until they had time to finish it. I have chosen to move on with my life. I will find a piece of stone from ANYWHERE else in lieu of putting myself through that again. As a small business owner myself, Im pretty sure it's not a 'Best Practice' to keep pushing back a small job in the queue, in favor of newer bigger jobs that have come in the three months I have been patiently waiting for my project to be completed. We are in the process of remodeling our home and when it comes time in June 2021 to order our counter tops (a worthy job in Silvia's eyes?) we will not be bringing our business and hard earned money to her store. read more

Pacific Crest Granite - Kitchen & Bath Near Me - Eureka, California

This is the worst run business in Humboldt. I needed a simple granite countertop for a bathroom vanity. From the get go, Sylvia was unresponsive to phone calls and completely disorganized. She gave me a quote that turned out to be wrong, sold the slab I chose to someone else then had me come back in to decide on a new piece only to forget about it later. She scheduled the install three different times, once her guy showed up, he had the wrong sink! She's also completely overpriced but I was willing to pay to support a local business and get the job done. Now, I'm bringing someone in from Medford, Oregon to do the job because of the incompetecy of this person. I can't believe she is still in business, let's do our best to change that! read more

This review was suppose to be for pacific crest granite in Mckinlyville ca. The owner is Sylvia. She also has a place in Redding Ca. This was somehow placed with the wrong address. Maybe she also has a place on Broadway now? Read on: As hard as this is to write I felt it necessary to inform the public. The back story: soapstone is a quarried stone, often from Brazil. It's beautiful and expensive. It comes in different colors. It's often grey before oiling it with mineral oil. Oiling the stone is optional. Once oiled it turns its unique color. According to other vendors we consulted It is the responsibility of the vendor (this vendor) to know what color it will turn after the oil is applied and before it goes to the customer. In our case this did not happen. We purchased black with white veining. Being very clear about the desired black/white in writing and verbally, we were told several times it was indeed black and white. The stone arrived and was installed. Two days later we oiled the stone. (really the installers job to oil it on the day of installation but they claimed they had no oil) the stone turned green! We received black/green with green veining throughout the stone. Disappointed and confused we immediately addressed the issue with the owner, Sylvia. I'm afraid she flunked the attitude test, threaten us with poor workmanship if she had to send her guys back to take it out, and said she would not replace it with the stone we purchased! Additionally, she requested we sign a waiver, stating that she would NOT be held liable for any damages to my brand new cabinets, sink, dishwasher etc... While taking the counters out. Needless to say we did not sign it. Eventually and with legal assistance we received a refund. She admitted that she gave us the wrong color but she would not make it right. This place was dishonest, disingenuous, and down right sneaky about the circumstance of this counter remodel. She refused to make it right and toyed with our good natured trust that we put in her. Very disappointing as we are long time locals who expect an honest forthright transaction when trying to stay local with our purchases. This place is exactly why most leave the area for large purchases. All that being said, we give her installers a thumbs up for professionalism, and workmanship. They did an excellent job installing. The second opinion we received from a professional re: this product said the installation was good, with few mistakes but the product( soapstone) we received was clearly green soapstone. A mistake that's hard pressed to make. Amateur job. Sylvia banks on the customer not doing their homework. Tip: have a clearly described contract. Make sure you see the product you paid for after oiling but before installation. check for correct coloring in the sunlight and inside before installation. Make them oil the product, if that's what you plan on doing, before they leave your home. And remember, soapstone does not have to be oiled but if it is, it will change color. Buyer beware... Be diligent with this company. They say what you want to hear but don't deliver when it comes to soapstone. (Unless you want green) no apparent oversight before it goes to customer. Check out counter creations, Arcata counters or eel river counters. Best soapstone place, Sierra Soapstone in Sacramento ca. read more

We are extremely happy with our experience with Pacific Crest Granite. We worked with them on a replacement kitchen countertop. Sylvia helped us select the perfect piece of quartzite online, then picked it up from the Bay area. Travis the templator spent several hours handcrafting the template for the countertop. What happened with the stone in Redding was the amazing transition to a beautiful piece of art! The PCG craftsmen lined up the edges precisely to create a countertop that we are very proud to show. The installation crew was punctual and professional. Travis and Kevin spent the day ensuring the countertop was installed correctly and the remaining finishing pieces were lined up perfectly. They cleaned up their work areas and answered all our questions before leaving. We highly recommend Pacific Crest Granite. read more

My entire experience with Pacific Crest Granite was exceptional! They are a friendly family run business. Their expertise and knowledge were a huge asset to me in my kitchen and bathroom remodel. I got to pick out my stone in person. They helped me every step of the way from color choices, tile, resale value, sinks, etc. they were fast and efficient and extremely skilled. It's obvious that everyone working there loves their job and is willing to go the extra mile for their customer. read more

The granite countertop Pacific Crest installed is absolutely stunningly beautiful. EVERYONE who walks in to my newly remodeled kitchen is wowed and wants to know what material the countertop is. After shopping every possible countertop outfit in the area, Sylvia is the only game in town for being able to select whole natural slabs of granite. No one else offers this. She hand picks every slab that she sells. Each one is nature's own unique work of art. In addition to the incredible aesthetics, my contractor says that Pacific Granite did every installation step exactly the way it should have been done. In other words - it is a top notch professional installation. I wanted very specific and unusual details for the sleekest, most modern look, including the placement of the seams, and Sylvia made it all happen perfectly. BTW: Looks like Katherine T., another reviewer, has reposted the exact same review from MANY years ago. Her review almost scared me away from Pacific Crest back in January when I began my kitchen remodel planning, so I asked Sylvia directly about the review. I am so glad I did and so glad that I decided to go with Pacific Granite. Thank you Sylvia and crew! read more

Our experience with Pacific Crest Granite was exactly what we expected. Our son & daughter-in-law have used PCG on both of their homes and they are beautiful. We knew the craftsmanship would be excellent and they did not disappoint us. Sylvia and Amber are so knowledgeable, they listen to what we wanted and found the perfect stone. We wanted soapstone that was green with character, Sylvia delivered exactly what we requested. When Travis was making the template, I talked to him about the edge ( I wanted the chiseled edge, my husband wanted smooth) he said they would make the chiseled smooth and they did. Everyone loves the edge on our countertops. We highly recommend PCG Becky P read more

Pacific Crest Granite in Eureka did my kitchen and now my Bathroom. They installed a zero threshold shower, floors, & counter top. Owner, Sylvia, has access to the stone companies in SF and Sac. It was easy to make the right choice in stone material because these people know their stuff! They are true craftsman and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them to friends. read more

We recently finished a large timberframe home and were lucky enough to get to work with Pacific Rim Granite. We chose our granite and marble for the job by going to their large warehouse site in Redding and viewing several samples. We actually took samples back to the job site and viewed it in the actual room lighting with our travertine flooring already in place. Pacific Crest Granite installed two large walkin showers, countertops for three baths and a laundry room and a very large kitchen. Kevin, one of their installers was amazing. He spent hours developing the patterns for all of the rooms , that he later took back to the shop to have the stone cut and honed. When the final product arrived it fit like a glove and kept the installation time to a minimum. One of our granite slabs for the upstairs shower took SEVEN guys to carry up the stairs and put into place. The final result was nothing short of amazing. I have never worked with such wonderful people. Kevin was installing the last few pieces in the laundry room when a fast moving forest fire was threatening our property. He actually stayed about four hours on his own and helped up prepare for the fire. This was way above and beyond what was expected. If you are looking for a top notch, professional, granite and marble installation company, these guys are the best. read more

After 15 years of beautiful, flawless granite surfaces in my kitchen I developed two blemished areas that were near each other and so very noticeable. I tried to clean them but had no luck. I feared the entire surface would need repaired and re-polished. I assumed I must have put some caustic substance on there to cause the damage but I wasn't at all certain what had happened. I went to Pacific Crest Granite and the very helpful Mary arranged for the owner, Sylvia, to come by and give me an estimate. Sylvia never got around to the estimate. She came in and immediately realized that I had managed to get some superglue residue on my counter. She went to work on it while we talked and had the problem resolved in minutes. She refused to leave us a bill or take any money, she said it was an easy fix and she was glad to be able to help. This excellent customer service will not be forgotten and I will call Pacific Crest Granite when it comes time for a re-seal, polish or repair. That is the kind of company I enjoy doing business with. read more
