I have delta dental (IYKYK) I worked with the front office staff to get a quote for services and they were very transparent with the structure/procedure with reimbursements processed through delta dental. I gladly pay out of pocket because you cannot put a price on exceptional care. Doctor Becker explained the treatment plan without using technical jargon, listened to any concerns I had, and best of all the care didn't stop at my appointment... the day after I received treatment Dr. Becker called me directly to check in and see how I was feeling and I appreciated that so much! I just re-done the implant, which was built 12+ years ago on the East Coast. I see in other reviews that some people are confused about Dr Becker not accepting Delta Dental insurance. His office DOES ACCEPT Delta, they are just out of network. One star is not for the service, but the decision they made that could cost them a lot of patients leaving. Been going here a couple of years and it's a nice office with a nice staff and I really liked Dr Becker, but they notified us they will no longer accept Delta Dental. They want to charge over $400 for cleaning, X-rays and checkup and you have to pay upfront. I agree Delta needs to up their fee reimbursements but there's no way I'd pay that much anywhere, insurance or not. They bill Delta for you and you get back whatever their fees pay for the service from Delta. In my case, I'd have to cover aver $250 and I have a top of the line Delta plan. He's not the only dentist dropping Delta so time to start a search for a new dentist. Will be interesting to see if they regret their change and even more interesting to see if Delta will step up as more dentists drop them. What I don't like is no transparency for pricing. There's no transparency with a lot of these dental offices when it comes to pricing. read more

Love this office. Dr Becker was treating my daughter who can be high anxiety and worries about everything when he noticed she was becoming overwhelmed with the visit. She was not in any discomfort but just wanted to be done. Instead of pushing her beyond her limits he cared enough about her comfort and feelings to finish for the day. Dr Becker really takes his time to make sure he's getting the work done properly and is not driven by production only. He cares more about the actual needs and health of his patients. That is RARE in this climate. He schedules adequate time to complete treatment properly and allows for surprises when they arise because that is always a possibility. Again, that is rare. i haven't been able to go to the dentist in about 20 years. since my wife started going, i've been watching how he works around her since she has extremely high anxiety, so when i finally got dental insurance, i knew exactly who to call. he's been amazing. he makes us feel that he's actually interested in the patient, and not the bare minimum to get them out of the chair and bring the next person in. i've had to have a couple extractions done, which he referred to an oral surgeon who can help me better and he saw a tooth that he was hoping he could rebuild instead of having a 3rd removed or a root canal. i was seriously impressed because the tooth was able to be rebuilt and i was even more impressed because they actually let me watch the machine carve the new chunk out of a porcelain type of material that fit my tooth exactly. that was 3 days ago and there has been no pain at all. he even texted me to see how i'm holding up with the rebuild. i've never had any dentist actually follow up with me before and got to tell you, it's very refreshing to be treated as a person by anyone in the medical field, not as just a warm body in the chair. i cannot recommend them enough to absolutely everyone. at the same time, i selfishly don't want to because that means it's longer time before i can get in because he will be too busy ;) all joking aside though, i cannot recommend him enough and will continue to work with him as long as possible. read more

I was so impressed with how he takes his time to explain any problems and gives his honest opinion and tries to find the best possible solution and really listens. He doesn't just try to get you finished up and out of his office like most dentist offices while charging you an arm and a leg for services. I am so happy with all the work he has done on me that my husband, daughter and parents now go to him. Dr. Becker is nice, laid back and gentle. Unfortunately I have had several hygienists so I don't remember all their names but they've all been really good and gentle with cleanings. Most try to make small talk and put you at ease. This place is older and doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles that I've experienced at other offices (ie TV, headsets for music) but overall you're there to get your teeth cleaned not watch a movie. Like everyone else I dislike going to the dentist. So I was reluctant to try a new dentist after having stayed away for years. My first appointment with Dr. Becker was like meeting a new friend. He and Micheline really take the time to get to know their patients and share of themselves as well. It didn't just feel like I was being given the social niceties. Dr. Becker took the time to discuss my treatment, asked me what my priorities were, and then we formulated a treatment plan. Dr. Becker even called to check up on me the next day. At my next visit more of the same, we talked about our families, sports, etc. and on the next visit when I needed a crown, Dr. Becker recognized my inner tech geek and let me watch as the machine fabricated the crown right in their office. A few years ago, I was referred to Dr. Trueb by co-workers, but when he was unavailable the front front desk staff suggested his partner, Dr. Becker. Because I have had luck finding a great pediatrician like this, I gave him a shot. I have tmj and bruxism, so I know my dentist has their work cut out for them with my chompers. I had X-rays taken and was given some suggestions as far as getting my teeth to a healthier state. Quite a bit of work was needed including a root canal that I was aware of. Cha ching!!! Dr. Becker suggested spacing the work out over the end of one year and the beginning of the next to put less financial stress on me. I thought that was a good approach. We were going to wait a few weeks before starting the process. A few weeks passed and I didn't hear back. I called and asked. They said they would call me back. A few days later, I called back again. They wanted to schedule me immediately for EVERYTHING. I said, "Dr. Becker said we can split the work up between this year and next." I was put on hold. They came back to the phone, "Dr. Becker said he never suggested that." Oh, okay. I imagined the whole thing. I was upset, to say the least. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and it wasn't because I needed a root canal!!! The office was terribly disorganized. Dr. Becker didn't even care enough about me to make note of what he suggested when we spoke. I decided I wouldn't return and instead went on searching for a dentist who actually cared about me. Fast forward to two years later and I received a voicemail from Dr. Becker's office... "Hi Jessica. We're calling to confirm your appointment on Wednesday with Dr. Becker. Please give us a call back to confirm." What?!? How can they just make me an appointment I never wanted nor requested? I called back about the appointment and sure enough, they had me down for Wednesday. I said, "Do me a favor, tell me when I booked this appointment." "Ummmm...." "Okay, it sounds as if you don't even have record of when this appointment was scheduled. Do you know why that is?" "No, I don't." "Can you tell me when the last time I was seen in your office?" "It looks like it was a few years ago." "Yeah, it was over two years ago and I stopped going there because of how incredibly disorganized the office is and it looks like nothing has changed. Now please cancel this appointment that I never scheduled nor requested." I would NOT recommend this office. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Becker and his staff of friendly professionals! After having a crown from an implant come out, work that my previous dentist had done and refused to fix. I had to search for a different dentist. My search began in San Jose since that's where I live and was either given the run around, told "no" because the office doesn't use the same brand as my implant, or quoted some extremely outrageous price. I was referred to Dr. Becker through my sister and done with my search for a dentist after my first visit. The front office was friendly, helpful, professional, and organized. Dr. Becker was also friendly, professional, thorough, gentle, kind, and did an incredible job fixing my previous dentists work. Dr. Becker and his office had to jump through several hoops to make sure that they had all of the proper tools, correct brand, etc but did it without turning me away, complaints, or charging me an arm and a leg! Dr. Becker is nothing short of amazing! Was referred by a friend of mine when I was in the area stopping by to visit some family. I was in a lot of pain and Dr. Becker pulled through for me.
