We were referred to Dr. Sangalang's office by a friend. We went today to get our teeth cleaned, xrays and exam. The staff at Dr. Sangalang's office are all so personable, friendly, so accommodating. It had been two years since we had been to the dentist, as our previous dentist retired Nov 2019, then COVID came. The front desk assistant was welcoming and talkative. The hygienist is so considerate, thorough and cares about the patient during the process. Dr. Sangalang is very personable as well, friendly and he treats his patients conservatively, not aggressively. They all care about the patients more than any dental office we have been to. What I appreciate is the time he takes to explain the procedure and how he will go about it. Dr. Sangalang is wonderful and the back office staff are very friendly. The receptionist and person responsible for the insurance, Melissa not so much. She is not friendly, no eye contact and slow at her job. She waited 2 weeks to submit my pre-treatment authorization. Then when I called her she tried to continue to say she hasn't heard back from my insurance and I said I will call them because at this point it had been 4 weeks. After I said I would call them she reluctantly scheduled an appointment. I immediately called my insurance and confirm my benefits and that my dental work didn't require a pre treatment plan. I mean seriously how lazy can you be, she made me wait 4 weeks for absolutely nothing. I go into the appointment and she isn't at the front desk. One of the tech ladies checked me in. I'm in the chair for a good amount of time with the doctor and she comes busting in and said sorry I was at lunch and blurted out an amount of what my visit would cost. First of all I'm in the chair, 2nd of all what happened to explaining the patient's coverage to them, she was so unprofessional. No way was I pulling my card out and giving it to her. So after the appointment I spoke with the doctor about it and of course he apologized but wow what an experience. I checked out with her and she gave me my appointment card and didn't even look up. Her rudeness will not keep me away because the doctor is great and she needs to see my cute little face again! Here's to Melissa and her need for customer service training. read more

Took me a very long time to find a good dentist especially for my husband who has a fear of dentists. I absolutely love this office, the staff, hygenists and Dr Sean Sangalang. I've never seen my husband's teeth so clean. She really does a GREAT JOB! He even had a deep cleaning done and because he is not good with needles, he tried it without anesthesia and had absolutely no pain!! They are thorough and aren't quick to jump on fixing something if its questionable whether its a problem or not, which I like. I've been to those dentist. They'll put a "watch" notation on it instead. The almighty dollar is not their quest here. Its providing the best service possible and you sure feel the love. read more

Would highly recommend this office! Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I had a crown put in and they really went above and beyond in customer service. They worked with my crazy work schedule, made sure I was doing ok through the entire procedure and were joking around with me and each other putting me completely at ease! Dental assistant, Maria I think, is amazing as is the receptionist. Dr Sean Sangalang is amazing, gentle yet extremely thorough. If you have any fears of going to the dentist this office will take them away!!! They are all awesome! read more

I am one of those people with an irrational fear who are "petrified" of going to the dentist. Dr. Sangalang was recommended to me by a co-worker who had a similar issue as mine. From the moment I called to make the initial appointment, I was greeted warmly, treated with respect and they immediatley addresses my fears without ridicule but rather with concern. I have been for over four visits and the results are always the same. Kind, knowlegable staff who chate with you and let you know what they are doing as they proceed. It is a small business where they greet you by name, remember small details about prior conversations and genuinely make you feel cared for. The appointments have always been on time, the office comradery is apparent and Ms. Pat (the front office manager) handles everything for you. While I still have those fears about dentists in general, after 37 years I have finally found a dentist (and staff) whom I actually look forward to visiting!!!
