I have Medicare DentalCare and thought I would try using this benefit and had my first appointment for cleaning and X-rays which are covered. I left that appointment with needing over $5k in recommended services. After discussion and stating I didn't want certain treatment had the estimate reduced to half that amount. Still feeling uneasy and pressured I went to my long standing dentist for his opinion and it will be under $500. Pressuring one for positive reviews should set off red flags. I cannot say enough good things about this dental office! After not seeing a dentist for over a year and a half due to medical restrictions, I had a lot of concerns and questions. I had even seen another dentist in town a month ago, but instantly knew I needed to find another office. I'm so glad I did! From the very first phone call, the front desk staff made me feel comfortable. They patiently answered all of my questions about insurance coverage, bonding, cleanings, crowns, and more. Their kindness and professionalism over the phone is what won me over--and they were just as wonderful in person. The office itself is beautiful and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. The dentist is both knowledgeable and efficient, and most importantly, she never made me feel bad for falling behind on my dental visits. She quickly created a treatment plan that was both fast and reasonable, and I was able to see the hygienist the very next day! Speaking of the hygienist--wow. He's truly in a league of his own. Gentle, thorough, and he even managed to make a deep cleaning fun! That's a first for me. Later that same day, I went back for a crown replacement. The dentist wasn't sure if the tooth could be saved (since I had braces for six years with the same crown), but she did it. Truly a lifesaver! Stay away. Not good for long-term dental needs. I was a patient here and my first day care experience was great. I even referred my wife here but she wasnt very happy with service and cost. They maxed out charged her carecredit without even completing the treatment plan yet. They also maxed out mine and later on asked for more money because according to them the insurance didn't pay the whole portion that they initially pre-approved. Also if you would like a copy of your records that you owned and paid already. They will require you to pay for processing fee and wait 72 hours. STAY AWAY, I repeat, STAY AWAY. They are crooks...they wanted us to pay thousands of dollars on "cavities" for my kids when they brush their teeth daily. They said one child had 9 cavities, another 6-7 and the youngest 4. I had concerns/doubts as my kids never had any cavities in the Bay Area. Took them to another dentist for second opinion and guess what?? Yes indeed, Child 1 - 0 cavities, Child 2, 0 Cavities, Child 3 - 1 cavity. I'm looking to see how I can report this to BBB or to the Dental Board of CA as this should be illegal. Do not go here, unless you don't mind being robbed blindly. read more

I left a bad review on Google after my crown of 1.5 years broke. I came into the office to see if they would replace it as my insurance would not cover a replacement. The dentist did not want to talk about replacing my crown, and instead said to me "aren't you the one that left the bad review? Why would you do that?" She proceeded to yell at me about leaving them a bad review. I asked point blank, "am I here to talk about the bad review I left or am I here to get my tooth fixed?" She proceeded to try to intimidate me about the review, so I walked out. Later in the day I got a call from the office saying she was offering to replace it free of charge. I declined. Totally unprofessional. If they were so upset about my review, then should have fixed the issue and then asked politely for me to remove my review and maybe I would have. But now I'll tell everyone I know to never go here. The absolute worst and traumatic experience I've ever had in a dentist. Complete bullies. read more

First of all I'd like to say I have never laughed so much in a dental office in my life. Absolutely adore the staff here, they're so helpful and create such a comfortable environment. I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and honestly, it was a fun experience. Probably the only downside was being told to stop talking so they could actually do their job I felt very taken care of and the operation went by way quicker than I thought it would. So I did a ton of research on dentists prior to my decision to get dental implants. And I chose ivory dental. Dr. Gill and his team are excellent !! They even got me flowers and a balloon. When i came back for a check up and was freaking out for nothing . Nobody has ever really went out of their way to do that for me and I was touched. Through out my implant journey which I'm still currently on, their has been one assistant that has stood out to me her name is Ingrid and I think she could almost be a dentist herself. She had made me feel feel very comfortable in uncomfortable situations. I have wondered how a young lady like herself could watch day in and day out the procedures that it takes to be an assistant to Dr Gill. I give her a standing ovation . I could not do what she does at all. So i could tell immediately why she was the dr.s right hand man so to speak. And I think that she deserves that place. Sometimes when I have to go for an app. I'm a little bummed if I don't see her. And almost want to complain about her not being there. Lol but I don't, I just keep it to myself. I was looking for a new dentist since I am new to Manteca. After doing some research online, I came across Ivory Dental. I called the office and spoke to Josephine. She was very easy to talk to, professional and nice. My standard are very high because I come from the dental world. Ive been in the field over 20 years. I am a registered dental assistant and I was an office manager for a periodontal office. Customer service is everything to me. Ivory Dental has amazing customer service, the staff I interacted with were all professional and friendly. I came in to my 1st appointment (new patient exam) I was greeted with a big smile by Josephine. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. Josephine checked on me after waiting for 5-8mins which makes a huge difference. I was seen my Dr. Raj, my exam took about 45 mins. I came back a few days later for a cleaning. I saw Cesar (hygienist) he was very friendly. He made feel comfortable. My teeth felt nice and clean. Cesar was awesome!!! I am looking forward to my next cleaning. I checked out with Savung (treatment coordinator) another great staff member. Savung was very clear on her explanation and answered my questions. I had a bridge performed here about a year ago. It wasn't performed correctly and is now giving me a lot of pain. 2nd and 3rd opinion say it was poorly done and needs to be fixed or replaced. The bridge was supposed to last 5-15 years, and it first became loose and painful within the first year at no fault of my own, as confirmed by the two dentists who looked over the work. I have tried to communicate with Ivory Dental about it, but I have hit a wall in communication. They don't want to do anything to fix the issue.
