I made an appointment at 3pm to get my eyebrows done. The owner, getting up from doing someone else's toe nails, comes and immediately asks if I had an appointment. I tell her yes at 3pm and she's saying that I need to come back later. I made an appointment, why are you asking me to come later. I ask her how long because I have my day planned and she says AN HOUR later. What is the point of making an appointment if you are going to turn me away like that without a moments care. Do better planning or don't have an appointment system at all. This has happened 3 times now. Poor quality and poor planning on this owner. read more

I tipped big bc I got waaay more than I paid for. Here's what I got in the 1 hour I spent at Beauty Nails: 1) A GREAT CONVO with the owner (cute shoes and outfit btw) named Kim, who is the sweetest! She's just a very kind person and I loved hearing her stories. 2) DETAILS DETAILS. I prefer fairly simple designs, but I like it to look modern, minimal, and beautiful. I've had so many acrylic manis that looked awful if I looked at the underside of my nails. Similarly, my 5 little gold gems were placed with painstaking precision and glitter nicely in the light as I type this. 3) GOOD SHAPE. I hate when my acrylics are filed crooked and when I ask them to fix, it's still crooked. Didn't even have to ask bc they started so even! She takes her time to give you a beautiful design. 4) GOOD VIBES. That is the #1 thing that makes me a repeat customer. When the energy is just so good I wanna come back for more. I will put up with okay details if there are good vibes, and okay vibes if there are good details, but this is the best of both worlds! read more

This is very helpful since I'm generally indecisive when it comes to getting mani done. Also, it's a confidence booster. Also, Kim is meticulous at applying the gel on my nails. They're smooth and follow my natural curve. While waiting for my nails to cure, she also gives me some tips to make them last longer. You just can't rush this critical period so they can set and don't chip. I waited an additional two minutes to let them really set. I'd come back to try out different styles and textures. They did an amazing job on my feet and hands, but they lose a star because of how run down and unsanitary this place is. As much as I would like to go again because of the service and great job they did but sadly they don't keep the place clean! Nails on the floor, dusty all over, and some of the tools were on the floor. They don't provide sandals to wear when finished with a pedi so I had to walk on their dirty carpet to get to the nail station! Yuckkkkk! I just wanted to go home and pour bleach on my feet!!!! Three stars because Moon was friendly but more of a two stars rating for the work. I stopped in after work on a Tuesday for a gel french manicure and there was only one other customer in the shop at the time. The front door was actually locked so I thought they were closed but the lady saw me and opened the door. My nails were already long so I just wanted them filed even and painted in the French manicure style with a gel polish. I'm not a big conversationalist so I don't really care if the person doing my nails talks to me, but Moon made a little chatter and was at least pleasant. I wasn't too thrilled with the job she did as my nails are more pointed than rounded to my preference, and the white polish just barely covers the whites of my nails, and hardly one my index finger and a small bubble in the white polish! The shop is also dim but maybe the desk lamp wasn't enough. I should have spoken up, that's my fault, but I was also wanting to get home. And yes it did seem like she was in a bit of a rush towards the end. I was also shocked when she told me it was $30. I paid of course but this will be my only visit here. read more
