I've been getting Botox for years but there is something wrong with their practices and I question the Botox that they are providing. After purchasing 40 units over a month span because I had to return to repair lopsided eyes, I still look a mess. To top that off, they request a tip, which is a practice that I have never encountered before at other spas. I got a groupon here which shôuld have been a red flag. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist sounded like an older southern woman who was very sweet. I was very excited to get my botox here at this point. the injections were fast and painless although the offices were outdated and dirty. After I left the lady who did my botox walked me to the counter where there is a giant sign that says "gratuity appreciated" and then she asked me what I wanted to tip her. I've never heard of tipping a nurse/ doctor specialist for injecting botox. I thought that was very tacky. I'm supposed to leave 20 percent on 150$ ? wouldn't that defeat the point of me saving 40$ by purchasing a groupon? What a scam! I will not return ! read more

Has anyone else gotten hate mail from Tracy S.? Pretty sure its the owner. Trying to tell me the "tech" didnt tell me the water cures cancer. This place sucks, and so does Tracy S and her SINGLE review of ONE business on Yelp..which happens to be Beautiful Solutions. From Tracy: This med spa does not saltwater with the claim that it cures cancer. The ingredients that are added to the water have been proven to fight cancer but nowhere does it claimed that it cures cancer. I am very irritated when people take a statement and alternative to make it sound different. This med spa Is the most professional, caring, educated and up to date on medical cosmetic procedures places that I have ever had the privilege of going to. I most definitely will be back. Like Sonia I was also badly burned at this spa when I went for laser treatment on my hands. I had first and second degree burns all over the backs of my hands. Like Sonia I was given samples of lotion to use. I went to my own doctor and paid out of my own pocket for proper medical care. I had to use prescription cream and antibiotics to avoid an infection and help reduce scarring. I went to them to show them the damage after going to the doctor. They never offered a refund at all. They never offered to pay for my medical expenses. I had a positive balance on my account from purchasing a package and they never offered even that money back. They did offer to let me come back for microdermabrasion treatment to help diminish the appearance of scarring but there is no way I would ever let them touch me again. I will post photos. Please be aware. The pain and scarring that can occur from untrained staff is unimaginable. read more

I had an appointment last Friday they called two hours before to cancel, fine. I make another. I get there at 5 minutes to 3pm they take me back quickly put on numbing cream and she says it will be 20 minutes. It's 3:49 I'm still waiting!! I am the only customer in the office why am I waiting so long. Finally I get up and go to the front to ask what's going on??? I just don't understand how you can be so rude! I was on time and even early should I not be treated in the same fashion? Four women were just sitting in the front office hanging out doing not a thing. But here I sit almost 50 minutes into my appt and It hasn't even started yet. The numbing cream is not even numbing much anymore. Should I just leave. I have a conference at 4:15. My last appt took 35 minutes. What happened to this place?? Very sad. I took off work early for nothing!! So frustrating how some people treat others. read more

I went in for a Botox injection I bought through Groupon. The entire experience was smooth and my injection worked great.

I have been a customer of Beautiful Solutions for a long time. As much as I hate to say it, the last few times that I have had Botox injected, It has not reached its full potential and did not last more than 6 weeks. I don't know if it's too diluted or what!? Several people have told me that they have had far better results from other providers. Sadly, I am going to have to go elsewhere for Botox. However, the fillers that I have had injected at Beautiful Solutions seem to work fine and the staff is also wonderful! read more

I got 20 units of Botox in my forehead for the first time. I love how it smoothed out some of the wrinkles however I'm not happy with how it has affected my eyes. My right eye looks puffy and my left eyebrow is sticking up unusually high. I wish the injector would have taken into consideration my short forehead and this being my first time. When I questioned if 20 units was too much she said it was nothing and that she does 60 units at a time. I think she was either inexperienced or not a good practitioner. I have been going to Beautiful Solutions for quite a while for different types of services. I have never had a bad experience and I would bet there are many people like me who just do not have time to write reviews. This is the first review I have ever written but I felt it was important because it is people who have bad experiences that take the time to write. I have several friends who have also been coming here for years, we have all loved the customer service. I have never been asked for a tip but I do tip because it is the right thing to do. The credit card machine asks if I want to tip, just like my hairdresser's does so I do not know why people complain about tipping. I have been going to this medical spa for a while due to the low prices for botox. Unfortunately today I was solicited to leave a tip for botox!!!. Literally the treatment tookless than 5 minutes and under Texas Medical Practice act section 193.17. botox injections are considered delegated medical procedures. A 20% tip would have been around 40$. If this is what they are striving for these aestheticians would be making more than 500$ an hour!!!! The medical board does not authorize gratuity on a medical procedures. If you get a facial, or another treatment that is not regulated by the medical board, of course it is both reasonable and customary to tip. I considered contacting the supervising physician to alert him or her so they don't get get in trouble with Texas Medical Board, as I doubt they are aware that the staff is soliciting tips, but to my surprise Beautiful Solutions do not list their supervising provider on the Website which I find both surprising and worrisome. Has anyone else ever been solicited for gratuity for injections/ medical procedures? Does anyone know who the supervising physician of this clinic is? Hopefully this was a fluke and maybe they have new employee who doesn't know the difference between procedures covered by the Medical Board versus treatments that within the independent scope of practice of aestheticians. I still have credits on file with this Medical spa so I will use them at least once more. If this solicitation continues I may reach out to the Texas Medical Board to intervene so that others don't get put on the spot like I did today (was very uncomfortable) and then change botox providers...... read more

Since moving to Austin last year I have been looking for a good Medi-Spa. I used to go to a fabulous place in Seattle called Calidora and have not been able to find a comparable place to go for facials, various treatments and injectables since moving. However, I finally found my go-to Medi-Spa here in Austin! I logged on to the web to look for nearby medi-spas and RSVPed to a Spring Party at Beautiful Solutions since they are right down the street from me. In the meantime I also purchased a GroupOn for Botox from Beautiful Solutions as well. The party was a BLAST; they had live music, appetizers and refreshments, drawings for product and much more. There were product representatives in each room demonstrating their various products and offering very generous specials. By the time I had left that night I had won a chemical peel (value $150), an IPL hand treatment (value $150), Skin Medica sunscreen (value $45) and a Skin Medica C & E cream (value $45)! I also purchased some Juvederm, the Skin Medica Lightening System and TNS treatment at huge discounts. (All at about 1/2 - 1/3 off) I made my appointment last week for the Botox, Juvederm and IPL (which I had respectively pre-purchased and won) They were amazing! I had a dental block for the injections by Cindy, who was was extremely gentle and accommodating. After that first Cindy did the Botox, then Trish, who is very talented, did the Juvederm injections. I immediately looked natural and like my old (or should say YOUNG) self. YES, when you get Botox, it can hurt a little AND bleed - you are getting injections! But they gave me some arnica to apply and I did not have one bruise later. The IPL on my hands worked too! Cindy walked me through the treatment as I had never done this before, nor probably would have if I hadn't won the treatment. The laser zaps those sun spots and they disappear after a few days. Amazing! I was not charged a mandatory tip, in fact I forgot to tip them and had to go back and ASK them to please charge a tip on my card for both Cindy and Trish. I did not have to pay $50 to a doctor for looking at me. There were no trick or hidden fees and no one told me they sold 'cancer curing water.' In fact I mentioned that and we all had a good laugh over that review. The staff at Beautiful Solutions were wonderful, professional and absolutely knew what they were doing. Not sure what these other reviewers were talking about but it sounds like they went to a different spa. While the party was so fun and winning great prizes was great, I would still review Beautiful Solutions as excellent based on the service and talent of the staff alone. For my part I highly recommend Beautiful Solutions! The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and professional, the spa is clean and the treatments are superbly done. I am so happy to have found them and they have earned a new customer for life. read more

95% of the time that I came to this place, my face looked distorted from Botox. Their pricing is great, but it is not worth it due to me looking angry, and barely able to move my cheeks, and forehead. I do not recommend this place. Don't try to skimp on saving money at the price of good looks. You would be better off not getting anything done at all. I am pretty certain their product is highly diluted too. There were times it didn't seem like the Botox did anything. When I called back to question it, they would quote me a full price fee for getting "more" units even though I might not have even gotten the unit deserved. Perhaps this place needs to be investigated for potentially diluting their product. I have a hard time believing that they can charge so little for Botox, when almost every other place charges quite a bit more. I could not believe also how jacked the staff's faces looked after getting collagen in their lips, and Botox too. That was another Red flag. She gave me the best results I have ever had with a procedure never recommend to me before. I am very very pleased with the outcome. I was not rushed through the visit like I am normally at med spas. I have read some reviews of people who were not pleased with their services. I find that unfortunate because it was the opposite for me. Sure their is not the fancy lounge with herbal tea and aroma therapy in the waiting room. That didn't even matter because my results are what mattered and I have amazing results. I was very impressed with how they did the procedures and especially the technique. It was virtually painless much less painful than my other 2 experiences. But the results are absolutely amazing. Not sure what to say about the Botox not working for some people....works for me! Michelle is my injector and she does it well! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I do agree with the others that a tip jar in off putting. But then again take into consideration that Jersey Mikes (a sub shop) ALSO requests a tip when you check out...they even make you push buttons on a screen that beep really loud at you if you mark "No Tip"! I have been searching for a good esthetician since moving to the area 3 years ago. I found this gem of a place with a Groupon I purchased after visiting at least 5 other spas in the area that I left with only mediocre or down right disappointing results. They always have good deals and are constantly looking for ways to help their clients save money. Weather it be with a rebate, points from previous procedures or a complimentary 25% of products during your birthday month. I highly recommend Reana! She is extremely knowledgeable and makes her recommendations without trying to push a sale. Her injection technique is amazingly pain free and I love that she would rather do too little and have you come back rather than do too much. My first appointment was such a comfortable pleasurable experience that I went back two weeks later for another procedure to learn that they always honor whatever Groupons they have on line in the office as well. read more

This place is a joke. I have been getting Botox for the last 3 years and have had great results until I visited Cindy at BS. I had to make 3 visits to get the Botox results that should have been visible from the first visit. I am still not completely satisfied, but refuse to return for a 4th visit! My friend went with me on the first visit and she has had to return for the 3rd time to get the Botox redone. I have a hard time believing this place is legitimate when both of us had to go for 3 visits. Never had this issue with any other place that I have received Botox injections. I called for an appointment for a consult and was scheduled for the next day. The front desk staff was friendly. I met Cindy for my consult for juvederm and she was professional and answered all of my questions. I only needed a half syringe for a scar and she did not try to sell me more product or push me to buy extra. She did inform me of all the great deals they offer. I have called around and Beautiful Solutions does offer the best prices. Their office is clean and everyone I encountered treated me in a professional and friendly manner. Did sort of help the first time for about 2 months (typically lasts 5. Went again to use my promotional gift card and bonus 10 units from the last visit. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Office and equipment is dirty. Very unprofessional staff and owner is not willing to refund any part of the service. They have tip jars waiting at the checkout desk. I have had several great experiences with Beautiful Solutions. It is not a glamorous spa by any means, but the people who work there genuinely care about their clients. Cindy has done my injections and she takes the time to change the needles so that I do not bruise. I have had Botox before and bruised so this was a pleasant surprise!! Also, the microderm treatment made my face glow!! Don't expect a fancy spa when you make your appointment but do expect quality injections that are much more reasonable than other locations, with an extremely trained professional. I found the establishment to be professional, no tip jars anywhere from what others have said, was not asked to purchase more Botox from what I had purchased from the Groupon and when I asked the strength of the Botox was told it was full strength and not diluted in the slightest. My technician had been employed by a dermatologist in Dripping Springs before coming to Beautiful Solutions. She only does the Botox and fillers--like Juvuderm.
