I am only two weeks out from surgery but I can not be more happy with my treatment, results, after care, and follow ups! Dr. Hix and Dusky are AMAZING! They have called me after hours and holidays to check up on me and have given me the attention and reassurance I needed at times. Dr. Hix's pre surgical plan with antibiotics and nerve / pain meds 2 hours prior to surgery helped me get off of narcotics early in my healing process. Stay away from Beleza, especially if you are immunocompromised or have any other health issues. It's a long story, but I had hernia repair surgery with Beleza in August 2025, and from where I sit right now, I can tell you that the doctors have ruined the last 5 months of my life, including my birthday and Christmas. I am going to have be on IV antibiotics around the clock for at least a month and my infectious disease doctor tells me it may take up to a year to cure the infections that they caused by (1) not giving me appropriate antibiotics after my intial surgery in the first place and then (2) gaslighting me (on several occassions) when I came back in the office and complained about swelling in my abdomen. (I had been telling them that I had terrible night sweats, and they just blew that off while I went to several other doctors about the sweating - I thought it was menopause - but it was, of course, the infection that they ignored and ignored and didn't listen to me about. Dr. Smith literally yelled at me over the phone when I sent a message in November saying I felt very ill and needed to go to the ER. He yelled at me over the phone and told me to come into the office the next day, which I did. I was taken in for an emergency surgery that very day because of the "edema" (that is what the doctors kept telling me it was, but it was NEVER swelling, it was always an infection), and, in fact, it was a significant infection. I had drains for most of the last few months, and I still have one now that is infected - it's being switched out by my infectious disease doctor on Monday when they also put a PICC line in me for the IV antibiotics I now have to take. After my emergency surgery, I told Dr. Hix that I wouldn't see Dr. Smith anymore because he yelled at me more than once, and I felt like I had to walk on eggshells around him because of his demeanor. Wow. A finally got a reply over a year later. These aren't allegations, there are facts. I have correspondence between the two of us, of which you said my review on another outlet was damaging. I also have plenty of before and after photos listed on other outlets. I did not list them here as they may be against the nudity policy. But, in hopes of protecting others, I'll put myself out there with a few photos. One can simply Google your name along with "malpractice" or "Texas Medical Board" to confirm the truths of this review. The stories to be read sound exactly like mine, except my story was shared before your investigation by the state board began. I would say that's sufficient evidence in and of itself. There are not enough words to express how much I love Dr. Staci. She made me feel whole again for the first time in 22 years. Prior to Dr. Staci, I had a breast reduction at the age of 25 that went horribly wrong, led to 30+ reconstructive procedures and I have hated my breasts ever since. I came to her to replace my aged implants and she transformed my massacred chest into one that makes me feel normal. I no longer dread being topless or seeing myself in the mirror. I am in love with the Cedar Park Beleza! Not only are the staff top notch but I have never seen better results anywhere else. Kate is just great for fillers. She included me the entire time to get my exact desired look. I had minimal to no bruising and low swelling for under eye filler. My lips came out like pillows, I wanted a conservative look but enough to enhance what I already had, and she gave me exactly what I asked for. Her approach to Botox is refreshing, in that she only wants to provide enough to make you feel comfortable, not just load your face up with as much as possible. Again, she included me in every step of the way and I could not be happier. I saw Krystal for a Jessner peel and she was very sweet and comforting during the process. I had a lot of questions about facial products and after a long and informative conversation, I left with 4 products that were way less expensive than I thought they would be. I saw results from the products in little as two days and could not stop touching my smooth and hydrated skin. I have been going to Krystal for the "vampire facial" as commercially known through the Kardashians, ie Microneedling with PRP for 3 months now. 3 to go!! She is super patient as I am highly sensitive and i won't lie, in the first couple minutes it's rough!! But I am pretty thin, so there's a lot of skim on none of you know what I mean lol! I have to tell you, I am from the Iberian Peninsula and therefore had quite a bit of pigmentation. I've tried lasers, Obagi (what a nightmare that was), and just about everything you can think of. Krystal suggested this treatment and it has been working like a charm! But I don't think I could get through it without her! She really pays attention to her work, checks in the next day to see how I am doing, and really works to make this as best of an experience as it can possibly be. From all the recent reviews I've read about this location, I've really been considering going somewhere else for my Botox and other procedures. But I will stick with Krystal for any procedure she does as I can tell she does amazing work and really does care that her clients are happy at the end of the day and understands we wear our faces everyday and are investing in her work. read more

So I have been contemplating getting my lips done for a while now, and after doing my research I decided why not try it. Some of my friends have had botched lip injections and I was very picky with which place I would go to. After looking at reviews and seeing before and after pics, I decided to choose Beleza. I called to see if they had any availability and was able to get in that day. The injector asked me what my desired results were and what realistically was possible. I did on one syringe of juvaderm and was able to analyze where I thought more could be injected. She was super sweet and made the process simple and relatively painless. A little disappointed. I went here to see about permanent acne scar removal. Sadly I was told they weren't sure the scars I have can be removed! They did inject me with some type of syringe in attempt to build collagen? It didn't work well. I can still see the scars very much. Also no after care instructions were provided. While they were nice and professional here, I feel like they over charge for their services. $500 for something that didn't even have results :( They were running Black Friday deals, but even at 25% off some laser resurfacing runs $700+ for one session.... Also they will ONLY finance for 6 months, no matter the cost of service. No thanks, I guess I will stick to Groupon and pay $300 for the same service. read more

Overall, the service is mediocre. The girls working at the reference desk are rude and clearly unprepared. Some of the cosmetologists know the job and are pretty decent at what they do, with a few exceptions. There have been times when the botox made absolutely no effect as if they had injected water, then it works. I was told that it could be an issue with staff altering the product to increase profit and or unprepared staff applying botox in the wrong area. Most recently I called to say that I was on the way and would be 10 minutes late. I was told not to come because the person would have another appointment soon. I was ok with that since it was a follow up botox and the job was not horrible like in the past. I thought about addressing this during the next visit - they are conveniently close to my home. Called today to make an appointment and was told that I would have to pay $50 for the previously missed appt I couldn't believe my ears and argue on the late notification and dismissal for not making it on time. I guess they just lost a customer Just horrible customer services all around. Find a better place!!! Oh, don't be misled by the good reviews. Staff at the front desk spend time using customers info to submit fake reviews. I got a notification in the past shortly after i left the office and I never submitted a review about this place until now. Dr. Hix Hernandez was my last stop after having consults with all of the other top plastic surgeons in Austin! I met with 4 before her and the difference was astronomical! She is above and beyond them all in every way!!! She spent almost an hour with me at my consult and about the same at my pre-op. *note that if you book a consult on a day she is not available and/or don't specifically ask to see her you may be booked with her consultant although i think this is rare* Staci is so caring and is a perfectionist which makes her an excellent plastic surgeon! She has many years of experience in all of the procedures she offers, as well as many years of reconstruction experience so she can handle complicated cases with ease. She is not the cheapest by any means. You get what you pay for in plastics and if you are shopping for plastic surgery by price then you probably shouldn't be having work done. On the same note she also didn't up-sell me on procedures I didn't need like every single other surgeon did. She offered me multiple procedures to achieve my result and helped me choose the procedure to give me the exact look i wanted. The staff was great, I was able to call and email with any and all questions without any issues. The procedure was a breeze I was completely comfortable beforehand (met and chatted with all of the assisting staff) and was in absolutely no pain afterwards. Nurses called and checked in on me multiple times the first week post op and I was able to call and text Dr. Hix on her personal cell with any concerns and was even able to send pics of progress so she could ease my worries after removing bandages. I'm just over a week out now, still feeling and looking great! She's been such a blessing, and I am so grateful for her!!! I have several friends who I have referred to her after my consult and they love her as well. She is the best! Make sure to read through the bad reviews before ruling out Beleza. You will find that they all are from before she joined the practice, or like other places they are bad reviews of the effectiveness of the procedure which is out of the staffs control (ex. This is for the Cedar Park location. I had a consult today that I was under the impression would be with the surgeon. That was incorrect. Instead it was with an abrupt if not rude/unwelcoming registered nurse. She asks me what I am there for. I tell her chin liposuction. She hastily squeezes under my chin a couple of spots and tells me that wouldn't help. Recommends a completely different procedure instead. I tell her hold on I'm still reeling from telling me something completely different from what I had planned on. Her response is to quote me the price for liposuction and how much more expensive it is. I mean I have the money to pay, you're just giving me unexpected news and rushing me on like you're over this consult. I get rushed out of there and made to feel like I didn't belong there in the first place. And if you're going to send someone home with a different recommendation, have a handout or pamphlet. Don't think "spelling" it for me on a card to do my "little" research is the same. This is the first time I decided I wanted to do something for myself about something that has bothered me for some time. It did not at all go well at this clinic. I'm not sure if I'll pursue a procedure any further. The only thing I do know for sure is that I won't be getting any procedures done at this location. I saw her for my first time getting lip filler a few years ago (amazing) then sadly moved to CA. I saw the esthetician Jeanette Baker for a Hydrafacial 2 days before my wedding, and it was a wonderful experience! She was professional but warm, explained everything to me, calmed fears I had about doing it so soon before my wedding, and did a really great job. My skin is glowing and wedding ready, and I couldn't be happier! I've even been going makeup free since - just sunscreen because my wrinkles and sun spots are less pronounced. Overpriced and Overpromised Lipo! Look, any woman doesn't like to openly admit she sees someone to keep her slim and young, yet after paying almost $8k for stomach and "flanks", and not knowing if that was a good price (nope, if you are wondering), I was a newbie at the medspa thing. The reason for the 2 stars, is the doctor did take away the pregnant looking tummy I had after the birth of my son, yet the upper stomach still exists and have to go see another surgeon to really fix the problem. And what was the staff and the doctor's response at Beleza about why the upper stomach came back? It's not their fault I gained weight in the 90 days the stomach returned (wow - fyi I did not gain any weight) So the new price with the new surgeon (whom hasn't insulted me to date) is to fix the tummy correctly AND the upper legs AND the back side $8k. You get the idea. Beleza is a great skincare place (if you notice all positive reviews are about SKIN and not necessary LIPO). Keep in mind the previous reviews about the revolving door on staffing (it's terrible, never the same face twice), and adding to the doctor walking out of the office as I was sitting in the parking lot waiting to go to my appointment AND he never showed, it really has been a struggle to work with Beleza. Something is going on there, and I'm not sure if it's good. When staff leaves constantly and doctors don't show, acts insensitivity to an issue you are already sensitive to, it leaves you wondering if they have more serious problems then just my lipo job that needs to be redone. read more

Very disappointed in the cool sculpting. I wanted to do something non surgical and this sounded ideal. However after doing a treat of several areas, there were no improvements in any of them. I haven't read any reviews of the Smart Lipo here. So here goes. If you are within 30 pounds of your ideal weight, and just have a stubborn spot, like belly fat, let Beleza suck that off of you! The procedure is done while you are awake but on Atavan and feeling fine. The morning after the procedure, I was amazed to see that my belly was completely flat and I have no love handles anymore! I will be wearing a compression garment for 30 days, but it's not uncomfortable. There is some modest bruising and swelling, so don't expect to jump right back into your bikini for a month. This Beleza location is much, much nicer than the one in Round Rock. The office is clean and feels more upscale. The reservation process is efficient and they have a newer photo facial laser which hurts less, relatively speaking. The staff was pleasant and making an appointment was easy. I noticed they had beer and wine in the waiting room. I didn't get offered any, but I'm sure my photofacial would have hurt way less if I had some. Cedar Park is getting beautiful. read more

No none better in Austin for Botox than Dr. Broder. I've had Botox injections since I was 35 years old,, having started in Los Angeles with a plastic surgeon friend of mine who injected me for free to help reduce my headaches (muscles between the eyes were very tense, causing headaches.) I'm very picky with high expectations because, in retrospect, my friend in LA was truly gifted. I like that I'm expressive but don't want the lines to stick - if that makes sense. I found Broder back in 2010 and will stay with him as long as I keep getting the results I am getting. I usually wait until the end of the year or other times when their Botox specials are the best ($8.50 a unit,) but now because I have him inject so little, I'm a lot more financially flexible and schedule my Botox on Tuesday which is their $10.50 day. The thing is, it's not just a money thing, the injector makes a HUGE difference as Dr. Broder can inject 25 units and I see the same results as when other people inject double that amount. I schedule my Botox when I am starting to notice some of the wrinkles I don't want coming back, and my last injection was 11 months ago. I heard that when you inject so much it lasts, which I honestly didn't believe, but it seems to be true. Tips - Be flexible about your appointment time depending on who you are seeing. If you are seeing someone that does surgeries on their surgery day, then understand he has surgeries and if it were you, you would care more about quality than strict adherence to time. He's been on time... I'm just saying, being a stickler for that doesn't make sense here. I've been to the other locations and they've always been on time, Just thought I'd throw that out there. There have been some growing pains over the years with the staff... so just like H.F., if you don't have a great experience, definitely leave a message for Dr. Broder - he seems to really care.
