Emily Porter M.D is knowledgeable, honest, a perfectionist, and has a nice "bedside" manner. Her personality made me feel like I've been going to her for years! I immediately felt heard, comfortable and not rushed unlike many other places I've been to for injections/skin things in Austin. She'll suggest options for the most bang for your buck, like Sculptra filler for more long term, natural collagen boosting and lifting as opposed to just dermal filler that lasts maybe a year. I'd rather pay a little more for lasting results that actually allow my natural collage to keep building. She also did my lips and I'm in love!!! Thank you Emily! A couple of weeks ago I went and saw Dr. Porter at her beautiful med spa in Leander. For a while now, I've been wanting to try out a lip filler just to give my lips a little extra volume. Here's a review from an actual patient, not a fellow peer, employee or friend from back home. A rating of three is for my experience with hydrafacials and microneedling. Injections get a zero star rating. I was originally really excited about this place. They are close to home and they had modern technology. I did enjoy my hydrafacial and microneedling sessions. But-- It turns out updated technology doesn't mean skill in regards to injections. "A picture says a thousand words". My photos speak. The Dr. said my tear trough results were normal--I just need another syringe to balance she said, when she was the one who initially said one syringe was more than enough. In fact, I know that to be true as I've had it done many times in the past. It's not my first rodeo.  The results were, well--horrible! Take a look at the photos. She blamed results on the product--the one she recommened as being "best for the area". Suddenly, "Vollure" should be used". The same product that was blamed for my bad lip filler results performed by her. She's simply sorry that "I'm disappointed with my results". Do you see my photos!!???? Who wouldn't be?  I was told by other professionals what I have is "superficial placement"of filler by the injector, not the product. She insists it's the product-- she recommended. I believe in mistakes. They happen--we're only human, which is why I didn't flee after my lip injection mess with her. But, if you make a mistake, own up to it. Be accountable and do the right thing. Don't blame everyone and everything else. Just be honest about your skill level. Horrible results at my expense. Proceed with caution. read more

Wrinkle free med spa treats you as you are their only customer. I've been going for at least 4 years or so. My first reason was to remove sun damage from my face and so I had my face analyzed and then I had the recommended treatment of a Halo and BBL. I religiously apply the recommended sunscreen everyday. That's the key! I then followed up a year or so later with another BBL. Dr. Porter listens and recommends her prescribed Analysis just tailored to your needs. I would highly recommend this spa. I went to Wrinkle Free for anti-aging treatments like filler, Botox, and laser . The best thing that I ever did for myself was the Halo laser and Hydrafacial. Trust me when I tell you that this changed my appearance! The Halo had a very short downtime and greatly improved my skins texture, firmness, and elasticity.
