This is just a very strange place...odd enough that I chose to return to my usual provider on Bee Caves in Austin--an hour's drive from where I live. The experience was so weird that I will never trust a different provider with my face again. For starters, I had to fill out an endless six-page form on my TINY phone on-site. Office staff claimed state rules barred them from having forms filled out pre-visit, AND they couldn't offer tablets in-office for better visibility. (Yeah, right.) At my post-Dysport check-in, the redheaded lady (forget her name) pressured me to set another injection appointment in three months, even though Dysport lasts much longer. She claimed it was to "deprogram" the muscle. I'd never heard of such a thing, and couldn't find any information about it. My regular provider doesn't know anything about that, either. So I think they just want recurring business even if it's not aesthetically necessary. Hmmm. Just weird vibes and feelings of not getting the whole story from this place. Why on earth would I trust them with my face again? By the way, if the owner is tempted to discuss details of my appointment here on Yelp the way he has with other patients who left negatives, he needs to be aware that it's a HIPAA violation and I will react accordingly. You don't get to punish negative reviews by revealing personal private medical information without consent...and dude, you DO NOT have my consent. In fact, you REALLY ought to consider removing the details of patient visits from the other negative reviews. You don't want to get busted sharing that stuff. read more

Up until going to ginger allure I had never looked into any kind of fillers or Botox, etc. so I did my research and was excited to have found ginger allure. Grace seemed so knowledgeable and on my first appointment really explained everything in detail. I was very pleased with the results. However, on my second visit, I was put into a treatment room and left there for 30 minutes past my appointment time with no effort from the staff to assure me or keep me informed as to why grace was so late. She finally arrived, I got my work done and was pleased. So I decided to give them another try for a 3rd visit. She was late, again. With zero explanation or reassurance from her or her staff. I gave this place a try on a business referral from someone I have a professional report with . I usually will pay plastic surgeon bc I care about bed side manners and professionalism . At first grace was ok and liked results , but she seems cold and uncommunicative. If you try to talk to her husband up front , it seems she became on edge . You try to offer suggestions and she talks down on you and your in medical field yourself . She comes off as she knows more than doctors and that is a red flag . She talks down on her husband in front of clients and complains on music he selects for salon . You can hear her say it alters her mood . She then talked down on me and was very rude bc I couldn't do the facial expressions she did and basically called me a liar bc could not do them and no other spa asked this . She refused to do treatment if I could not, like I'm her husband or child and I told her I would go somewhere else . She then completed it but I vowed I would not return here. The guy remarking below is the one that was numbing my face in the waiting room. Talk about rushing! Again, why would I let them work on my face again? Seriously! And why would I let them get thousands off of me if I had known the procedure was only going to lift a mm or two? That's why I am upset. Accept what you did.... Do not let this place work on your face. I would venture to say most of the 5 star posts on here are written by their friends. I had never been to a med spa so I was naive about the whole thing. They rushed me through the whole process. The guy that works up front was putting numbing cream on my face before I ever went back to the procedure room. I did not have time to read the forms that they have you sign. Do not let them work on your face before reading the forms. There are multiple forms and some are 10 pages long. They will not refund you if the work they do is crappy. Even though they don't seem like it, they will later throw it up in your face that you signed a form saying blah, blah, blah, if you are not happy with what they did to you. Boo Hoo. I'm a small business owner which you're going to remain with the work you do and the policies that you have. Why would someone spend more money to have you work on their face again once you have messed it up? They told me there was time to do all of the procedures I wanted in an hour (I didn't know any better) so they were both (Gracie and Paris) working around each other on my face in a small, cramped room to get everything done quickly. Big mistake. I now have the end of a PDO thread poking up into my skin about an inch above where the original incision point was made at below my brow line. It doesn't take a lot of common sense to know that that is not going to somehow lift your brow again in a few more weeks. Needless to say with this thread giving way, my eyebrow has fallen back downwards. I also had them do threading to lift the corners of my mouth. Again, the corners are back where they were at before the threading. If this procedure is going to only lift by 1 or 2 mm's, I wouldn't have spent thousands of $'s to have it done. They did not make me aware of that. They were trying to fast to make a fast buck. I also had filler put in below my eyes on the first and second visit to the spa. Before I even left the second time, Paris was trying to press down the ridges and uneven knots below my eyes, that she had created with the filler. I still have them and they show up even worse when you put makeup on. Be very leery of this place. I dropped $7,200, including tips, at this place for basically nothing. I am in the process of disputing most of the charges. read more

Where do I start. This little gem in the heart of Round Rock is a must for anyone wanting to age gracefully. I can't possibly say enough good things to describe the level of care I receive here. From education about literally everything having to do with skin, to threads (omg you must try this) to nutrition advice, and most recently, a FaceTite procedure. I had a significant amount of scar tissue in my face from a previous skin cancer surgery and Grayce literally exhausted herself working through breaking all of that up. It took a significant amount of time and they all stayed late (after 9;00) on a Friday night to do this procedure that should have been completed an hour earlier if my face had just cooperated. Having that skin cancer was a crappy time in my life and the surgeon (incredibly gifted surgeon who was a magician) had taken a piece of my face out right below my eye the size of a small egg. I thought I was maimed for life but he carefully put me back together again but naturally, all that sewing and carving did indeed leave my face full of scar tissue (under the skin, most of it wasn't visible) and a little lopsided. These ladies were bound and determined to fix this, and their care is so meaningful to me. I'm 60 and was always a "10", but aging, menopause and life happens to all of us, and I desperately needed this uplifting experience. I went in for Botox. I had never had it and didn't know what to expect. I was so nervous! I walked in and the place was so cute and most importantly clean. I loved that it was so doctor like but then walks in the glamorous red head in scrubs and a lab coat. Very nice! I fill out my paperwork and go have a seat. We had a very thorough consultation. She simply hand me a mirror and asks what's bothering me. I tell her and she tells me exactly what I need. Not only that she tells me how long it may last, the type of injections, and lots of medical terms I can't remember off the top of my head. All I know is it all made sense and I felt much more relaxed when she started. She marked my face, took photos, sent it to her board doctor, and we got started. What I really loved is how she also talked skin care. Exactly what I did and didn't need. She's like, you're getting this done we need to take care of your skin. You're using good stuff let me know when you run out I don't want you waisting it. Can I just say, someone not trying to sell me a bunch of stuff is basically like sexy talk? Lol. Anyway, this was my fave part. When she was done she says, I went very conservative on you. I've never Injected you and bodies are different so I don't know how you're gonna take it. I had a bad experience with fillers injected in the cheeks, I had an Hematoma that is still healing and this is my week 4. One of the sides of my face still looks uneven due to a hard lump. I also added filler in the corners of my mouth because I am losing a lot of volume and I still have two bruises there that the owner of the place told me they are discoloration issue. I did not have those before going!! The owner keeps telling me Hematomas are usual for fillers, that I had discoloration on those areas since before. I do not recommend this place. Please go with someone with injection skills. It wasn't the owner who injected me. So my horrible experience was with one of the staff members. read more

I would not recommend this place. It was my first time getting under eye fillers by Grayce and I had the worse experience of my life. She treated me very cold and did not explain the procedure at all. When she injected me it was with a stab and it was very painful my left eye went blurry. She couldn't be bothered by my concerns because she was training the front desk as well so I was rush out. She was in such a rush she never had me sign a release for treatment form. I was texting after letting her know that I had big bumps under my eyes that were not there before and even after the bad treatment that I got from her I went back exactly three weeks so she can see for herself the bad job she did but before I was seen by her she sent someone in to take pictures of my face using a bright flash so my face looked flawless because of that flash and she compared the results to the bright pictures she had just had them take of me and not of my actual in person face. I told her look at me it does not look like the pictures you just took but she continued to be rude. When I explained to her that the day of the procedure she was rude and had not explained anything to me her response to me was I'm not everyone's cup of tea ( her own words). I paid almost 1000.00 dollars that day I did not deserve the treatment I got. I gave one star because it would not let me right the review without it but I would not give any stars at all if given the choice. After reading your response that you were recording me now it makes since why you stood in front of me and lied about what happened the day of my appointment. And I never signed a dermal filler consent form. Here is what my bill was. You are bipolar you act nice on text but that day you and I know that you rushed me. And you didn't explain to me the risk involved. You were to busy training the front desk lady that I was never given a release form to sign for dermal fillers. No way.
