I found Beautiful Skin and Nails through Yelp and I'm glad I did. I booked a gel mani and gold (non-gel) pedi a few days ahead. I used their online booking system, which I found really convenient since I could cross-check my schedule and receive an email confirmation about my appointment. This was my first gel manicure and there were tons of colors to choose from. I chose a light teal that also matched closely with a non-gel OPI color for my toes. I'm really loving the mani so far. It's been 9 days without chipping, peeling, or wear at the nail edges. I now know why gel nails are so popular. My toes look pretty good too. :) Both Letty and Vicky (who was doing another customer's nails) were really easy to talk to and do great work. I feel the need to update since my last review. Two years ago, I was frequenting Vicky's tiny room in the back of Salon 3121. Now, she has developed her own small business, complete with massage, hair, and mani-pedi beauticians! The salon itself is not very large or luxurious. It is efficient, bright and spunky- just like its owner! Is it a five diamond resort? No. But the entire salon has been out together by the hard work and vision of one talented and hardworking woman- and I truly respect that. I am SO glad I found this place online. I looked online to find a place, a place to take my friend out to. It wasn't just any nail salon, but a place where, now not to sound mean, but I needed to find a place where they speak English. I usually get my nails done in South Phoenix, but I'm tired of sitting through a place where the women who are doing my nails carry a conversation with others in a different language. Well, online, I found THIS place and there was nothing but great reviews I read! So, I tried it. Now, I took my friend out to this place for her birthday and WE LOVED IT. In fact, when we found the place, Vicky and Letty were so nice and personal. They offered us a drink and that was part of the best part of this place. My friend and I did the LAVENDER pedicure and it was by far the BEST pedicure I have recieved. It was so comforting, the chairs were massaging me to "almost sleeping", Letty was really good with our feet LOL. I enjoyed the fact that we were able to carry a conversation AND the pedicure just felt so good. I especially LOVE that paraffin wax! EVERYTHING that came with this pedicure, I absolutely loved it loved it! This place was just a tad expensive, but heck, you pay what you get! This was a pedicure spa! Then, the surprise to it was a definite sweet charm after the pedicure. You want to check this place out, it is SO WORTH IT!!! I have recently started going to Beautiful Skin and Nails. I have gotten 2 facials and the first facial was all it took to completely change my skin. I used to have enlarged, clogged pores. It felt like I tried every product I could get my hands on to get rid of my deep pores but nothing would work. I found this place through groupon for 12 facials. Had 2 facials by Vicky which basically consisted of a peel - approx 15 min. Never consulted me on what I wanted to do even though groupon stated choose from peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplane etc. I tried to cancel an appointment early one morning due to excruciating back pain (I couldn't go to work but had to go to dr.). I left a message and tried calling several times, even left an email and got no response from Vicky. The only response I got was to be told that my groupon was now void because I no showed.... Thanks jerks I paid for 12 facials and only got 2 !!! When I finally did get ahold of Vicky she was nasty to me on the phone so I didn't end up fighting too hard for more facials because I never wanted to see her again... Beware. read more

LOVE this place! I purchased a groupon in August 2014 for full lash extensions, and I'm just now getting around to writing a review on my experience because I never forgot about it. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions done, so naturally I was a bit nervous. However, the girl who did my extensions (I forgot her name as it has been awhile) was so calm and professional and put me at ease right away. When I explained to her the look I wanted to achieve she communicated with me until we were both on the same page. I am getting around to writing this review now because I have never forgotten how beautiful my lashes looked from here! I moved out of the state of AZ and have had my lashes done again a couple times...and they've never compared to those that I had done at Beautiful Skin and Nails! Each time since then that I've had my lashes done they've looked good, but nothing like how they looked when I got them done here! Seriously, unbelievably beautiful! I received so many compliments and people couldn't tell that they were fake. They would say things like, "wow! your eyes look so pretty!" I live in Southern California now and seriously contemplate driving over to Phoenix just to have my lashes done again here because no other place has compared so far!!
