Was in town from Cincy and HAD to stop by and get some Bears Bagels for the drive home. Everything was delicious, per usual. They are always busy, but always efficient. The hoisin slab bacon on the Bears Best is TO DIE FOR. I would buy a pound of just that!

If you're on the hunt for some of the best bagels in Columbus, you need to add Bears Bagels to your list! Be sure to get there quick because people know how good these bagels are! On top of having great bagels and sandwiches; they're serving up unique combos I haven't seen anywhere in Columbus yet! The Bears Best was an awesome switch up from your classic bagel sandwiches; and there are tons of other fun options to pick from! You need to give a Bialy a try as well!

Alright I came on a Sunday at 11AM.... Maybe if I came on a Saturday at 9AM I would have had a better experience however it'll be a while before I come back. In my opinion the hype was not worth it. It sucks having 2 good bagel places in Ohio because the Lox really outweighs Bears by a long shot. I ended up ordering a Classic w Turkey Sausage on a Sesame Bagel (all other savory bagels were out at this point) . The taste was okay.... I would argue that a chain such as Breuggers was better taste wise. The bagel itself was fluffy and was the star of the show but like i said just overall not worth it. Lastly, the staff was kind and efficient. Fast moving line even though it was out the door. Also, parking is awful here. Just park down the street and walk over, not worth the hassle.

So so Love this place, this business. I want everyone in the area to know. Dude ! You cannot go wrong here. My third time and order was just the Classic w bacon which was done perfectly on a toasted Zaatar (seasonal begal) Dude it was terrific and the staff is so great. Y'all gotta go !!!

What a cool little shop! There's not much dine in space but there was plenty of people lined up outside for to gos. The shop is very small, with a couple tables, and the parking lot is limited. There is street parking available around the area! We tried a few different bagels and they were all made well, delicious, and with quality ingredients. I really enjoyed all of them. You can't go wrong with your choice, they're good. I would suggest trying to eat them while they're hot and fresh! It was a little messy to eat just because the ingredients would squeeze out after each bite but we kept them wrapped up which helped There was a long line when we came but they moved people pretty quickly. Staff was nice and helped us pick our bagel option per choice! I would recommend for a small group, something easy to eat, a quick meal or snack, and some yummy fuel for your day.

Dropped in today to pick up the Insta famous limited edition "baby brew" cold brew. I grabbed the last Maple brown sugar in stock and am excited to try it. I also could not resist a delicious iced banana bread latte for the road. No bagels - I was on coffee business only. Staff here is still fantastic and so friendly.

First timer at Bears Bagels! Highly recommend stopping in early to beat the line, although it's always pretty busy! I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a salted egg bagel. The bacon was so crispy and had such a great cheese pull! I also got a bottle vanilla cold brew latte and a mixed berry French toast bialy. I would 10000% get this order again! Everything was so fresh, I can't wait to go back!

I legitimately crave the bagels at this place. There is no better bagel place in Columbus in my opinion. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and I added pickled onions and garlic and chive schmear. Omg it was insanely good and filling. I will 100% be going back and would highly recommend it to Hilliard residents since it is such a good Hilliard location. As far as inside the shop, it is a bit tight with limited seating, but the food makes up for that. Their decor is cute and they really went all out for pride this year. The service was somewhat slow, but again the food was so good that it made up for it.

Bears Bagels has been on my list for a long time and it lives up to the hype! The owner was so friendly when I walked in and seemed genuinely excited when I mentioned it was my first visit. The building is small but it's cute and welcoming, and there are a few tables. I had the Goldie Lox and it set itself apart from other delis in a few ways - the lox had a pastrami seasoning, the pickled red onions had a nice tang that cut through the richness of the lox and cream cheese, and the bagel was truly phenomenal. I grabbed a rosemary and salt bagel with a side of veggie cream cheese for tomorrow morning and I'm sure it'll be delicious.

Classic egg and cheese sandwich with smashed avocado

Came here after the gym and let me tell you!!! These are one of the best bagels I've ever had, similar to nyc bagels!! I got the egg and cheese sandwich on a rosemary sea salt bagel and added smashed avocado and a side of their spicy mayo! 10/10 the bagel was perfectly toasted and the avocado and mayo added the perfect kick to the sandwich. The place is small but there's a little high top sitting area and a small table for people to sit. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful with the bagel recommendations. I will definitely be back.

Bears bagels is the best breakfast you can get in Hilliard, hands down. The owners are always friendly and the breakfast sandwiches are fantastic! Try the banana cold brew coffee as well, it's very tasty!

I have been wanting to try Bear's bagels for a long time and when I finally made it there, it did not disappoint. I stopped in on a Friday morning, and the place was packed, with a line pretty much out the door, which I took as a good sign. Thankfully, the line moved fast and I didn't have to wait too long. They have lots of good bagel sandwich options and you can also build your own. I chose to opt for one of their signature sandwiches, the Goldie Lox on an everything bagel. It had pastrami smoked salmon, Garlic and chive cream cheese, pickled red onion, tomato, cucumber, and fresh dill. It was such a delicious combo, I thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to their bagel sandwiches, they also sell their bagels in singles, half dozens, and bakers dozens. They also sell their cream cheese, which is nice because they have so many good flavor combinations. All in all I think this is a great breakfast spot and deserves all the hype it gets. I can't wait to go back and try more of their signature sandwiches!

A few seating options. They have a couple tables too.

I was craving a bagel so decided to stop by. It was late morning on a weekday so most of the bagels were sold out. It wasn't busy. Maybe a couple customers walked in. I tried the porque puerco on the poppyseed bagel. Delicious! Great flavors too. I'd order again. I also got the mixed berry bagel with their seasonal cream cheese. I think it was cranberry orange? Delicious! Unique flavors! It was a bit sweeter for my preference but not bad. The bagels aren't quite NY style. But they are very good. Soft and easy to bite into. Prices are a little higher than The Lox. But it's a nice treat every once in a while and there aren't great bagel options in the area imo. Staff was really nice. Personable and helpful explaining the menu. Not a ton of parking but it's located in the same building as a gas station. I'd come back again!

This…read moreold-home vibe comes with small rooms, small doorways, and lots of little nooks and crannies that would be perfect for working. Worth noting: this business has religious overtones to it with multiple Christian decor items around it. PROS: -Love the upstairs area. Upstairs, there were two separate rooms with good seating areas. Both offered enough privacy to feel like you were having a "private" conversation at the coffeehouse and you felt far enough away from the people on their laptops to feel like you weren't disturbing them with your conversations. -While some of the furniture "appears" older and classic, they have nice upgrades. A full-wood table, for example, had outlets built into the table for laptops. -Really friendly staff. We didn't know what to get, but they were really patient with us. -Decent parking around. This is in the busier area of Hilliard, but it's off the beaten path enough that there's decent parking within a one block radius. Lots of free parking options if you're willing to walk a couple blocks too. I didn't look for a dedicated parking lot. -Mini sizes of drinks. Coffee Connections seems to sell a "Mini", a "Small", and a "Large". The Mini appears to be about the size of a couple of espressos, and it's adorable. I could see that being a great size for kids who want to "have coffee like my parents" in a matching cup. -Delicious coffee. I know it's a coffeeshop, but sometimes the vibe is almost as important as the actual product. Coffee Connections has a lovely, small-business vibe but they also have the yummy, sippable coffee to match. Latte was served piping hot, and it was a pleasure to sit and chat while waiting for it to cool down to drink. -Cute outdoor area. A door right off the order counter takes you to their outdoor seating area. Coffee shops with outdoor seating are hard to find, and this one even has beautiful lights strung up for you late-night coffee drinkers. It honestly feels like it'd be a super-cute date night spot in the evenings. CONS: -Built into an older home, Coffee Connections has smaller hallways and older flooring. Nothing seemed dangerous uneven, but if you need lots of space and flat flooring to maneuver, this may not be a good fit.

The two employees can't even be bothered to acknowledge me. No greeting, no eye contact, nothing. The donut selection was a joke--about 90% of the shelves were empty, and not because they were busy. When I politely said I needed a dozen, the employee grabbed a box and just stood there staring off into space like I didn't exist. After another couple minutes of that, I had to ask if he was ready. His response? A lazy, half-interested "yeah." If zero stars were an option, this place would earn it easily. If those were the owners, that's even worse--because this was an absolute failure of a customer experience. And to top it off, I tried to leave this review on Google, but reviews are turned off--which tells you everything you need to know. There's only one reason businesses do that. The grilled cheese was not good. My breakfast sandwich was warm and not too bad. It had bacon with a maple taste. The biscuit was fresh but not sure it was made on site. Well, I've been going to Einstein's two or three times a week for over a decade. It's the only…read moreeasily accessible place on the north side that you can get LOX n BAGELS WITH EZ AND AND EZ OUT. As far as service goes, the app makes it easy to order ahead and by the time you're driving over there, it's already waiting for you on the far left protected from thieves on a stack where you have to talk to an employee to grab your food so that some DoorDash person doesn't steal it, which we all know happen for a while at every restaurant in town. The ambience has gone from losing our tables to sit at with friends during Covid back to the normal Hangout, but they added a section for the mobile food pick up people to be able to come and grab the stuff and leave. No, or else gives you more bonuses and free coffee all month that I found as long as you order something during the month. Mondays, they have a bakers dozen for $10! Who does that? The brisket sandwich with the jalapeño cheddar bagel has become one of my go to when I don't get the LOX set up. So I would say the good the bad and the ugly look like this: THE GOOD: consistent. Cost-effective. Great deals. Right off 270/sawmill Road, and they even have a drive-through if you're super lazy and working on adding food to any trip you're about to take and don't want to get out of the car. THE BAD: if you're in love with the LOX or smoked salmon, and bagel set up, all of us that have been coming there for decades are pretty upset that you can't order it in the app to come, "open faced" with two separate bagels with a stack of food on it in the long rectangular box they still have, but you can only get access to it, "open faced" if you drive there. Walk inside. Stand in the line. Order it at the counter. Otherwise, if you order through the app, which is so much more convenient, they're gonna smash it together like a pile of slime and when you take a bite, it's gonna all smoosh out the side. LOX work like a hamburger guys! THE UGLY: I really can't think of anything ugly here. One time I was trying to take advantage of the Monday morning Baker's dozen with 13 bagels for only $10, I hit the wrong button and got the one with custom build which bagels you want inside instead of the auto assortment that's standard, so I didn't get to select the bagels but I did get two cream cheeses added and it was still only $15 on Monday so I don't think you could really complain about Einstein's other than saying the multiple locations they used to have in places like German Village in the base of the HUNTINGTON Bank on the Square downtown have disappeared and the only place that I'm aware of is SAWMILL Road/270 up in the northwest corner.
