There is ample free parking in the lot on York St with 2 entrances. There are separate ordering stations for the brewery and BBQ. The combined area has open seating with high tops, the bar, tables, and sofas. You can order drinks at the bar, and for food, you order at the counter and receive a buzzer. I headed to Beards & Bellies and ordered the 3-meat platter with sausage, brisket, and ribs, Mac & cheese, and cornbread. All potters are served with fresh onion slivers and house made pickles. I'm not a pickle person, but their house pickles were delicious! They were thin but still crunchy, flavorful, and not wet. Everything that I ordered was pretty good! The Mac and ribs were my least favorite. The mac wasn't baked, but taste wise, it was okay. Small serving size. Ribs weren't super tender, but were flavorful, smoky, and crisp edges.

Pork belly slider really is a must try! Cool spot and chill vibe in a neat little neighborhood. Will Come back!

First time dining in and everything was spectacular. The smoked wings were amazing and fantastically paired with the deviled egg potato salad. If you're looking for a place to wind down this is it. TVs always on and music blaring! Self order food in the back of the building and get your own drinks at the bar. Staff were all so friendly! Highly recommend if you're in the Covington area!

The appearance of the food is terrible! Not appetizing at all. I wouldn't call that a meal. The wings had a nice flavor but there wasn't much meat on the bones. I knew they were dry rub but those are some seriously dry wings. The brisket has a nice flavor but not much to eat. Slaw was spicy. Potato salad was standard. The service was bad. You walk in and menus are located on the tables. The orders can also be taken in the back area by a human. The human would rather the order be done on the QR code. After he took our food order we were sent a text stating it would be complete in 45 minutes. The cook walked outside for a cigarette break. Metered parking spaces are all around but parking is sparse. We had no idea it would take this long for a pick up order. Inside most people are drinking and hanging out with their dogs. It's an open air venue and it was a hot, muggy, rainy day. I don't think I'll be returning it was not a pleasant process for such a small amount of food with was quite expensive.

Stopped here after the Reds game. Was surprised it was not busy but it was a Sunday afternoon game. First time in here. You order at the counter and they give you a beeper. I ordered two sliders, the brisket and the pork belly. I so enjoyed both, if I had to pick a favorite it would be the pork belly. I also ordered the slaw and it was very pickley and I will order again! My hubby ordered the smoked wings, greens, cornbread, and potato salad and he enjoyed his as well. My girlfriend ordered the meat plate with mac and cheese, and potato salad. She didn't care for the dry rub on the ribs but liked everything. She ordered bread pudding to go and said it was not too good. We ordered our drinks from The Wooden Cask Brewing Company in the same space and I will do a review of them also. We will definitely be back after another game.

First, I love the space. Very spacious and casual, so it is great for everyone. We ordered dinner but I did notice a yummy brunch menu while at the counter, so that is my next thing to try. Our dinner was brisket (which comes chopped and tossed in bbq), potato salad, slaw, cornbread, and pork belly. You order at the counter, grab your own plastic ware and napkins, and have a seat while waiting for your pager to go off. Drinks are not fountain. All single bottled items or you may get a drink at the bar which is to the side and inside the same establishment. You retrieve your trays of food from the same counter once your pager buzzes, along with wet naps, if needed. Our food was beautifully presented on a paper lined silver tray. The potato salad and slaw were perfect portions of not too little and not too much. The potato salad had the perfect blend of mayo to mustard ratio. The slaw was ok. Pork belly has great flavor. Brisket was good texture but the sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. Cornbread had great flavor, though a little dry in the middle. Overall, I would say it is worth a try. We went right before dinner time and we were only the second table of people there, so I'm not certain if that was a factor. Service is excellent and friendly, which is always a plus.

This is in a great place and has parking. The seating area is huge and feels like a place you would always like to hang in. The food was spot on , especially the corn bread , this was my favorite piece of cornbread I have ever had. The sausage with the mustard was incredible. The service was good , I did double check my bag and was missing something. It happens

I love me some BBQ. Found this gem in a brew pub with the help of Yelp. Guys were super friendly, and the food was excellent. The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, but the ribs made up for it. The sausage was .... Luscious.... There I said it. Definitely on my "come back here" list.

We stopped at Beards & Bellies BBQ for some ribs & southern sides after going to New Riff! The ribs were super tender and had great flavor without sauce, although I did enjoy their Caribbean Heat sauce.

    Brisket platter

Was really looking forward to trying a new BBQ. Place. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! My wife got the brisket platter and I did three meats(brisket, wings, and pulled pork). Wings were pretty good but everything else was dry and bland. For sides we got tots, broccoli slaw, potato salad, and corn bread, all underwhelming. Finally the staff was rude when getting our food like it was an inconvenience I ordered.

Feed the Family meal..... it came with 6 buns but we dug in before I could get a picture!

We stopped here on a Friday and it wasn't crowded at all. We ended up getting the "Feed the Family" for our family of 4, it was more than enough food! Our daughter couldn't stop eating the Mac N Cheese. This was inside of a brewery and was such an amazing space!

Best bbq in the Cincinnati area! And it's in one of the best breweries. It's a win-win situation.

The wings and prime rib were decent. The sides were super disappointing and the cornbread was super mushy with a bad aftertaste.

Every visit feels like a treat, but lately they've taken things up a notch with a lineup of signature cocktails. I tried the espresso martini, and it was outstanding--smooth, balanced, and the perfect complement to the bold, smoky flavors coming out of the kitchen. As for the food, it's consistently excellent. The dry rub wings are my go-to: perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and flavor, and even better when paired with their bama white sauce. If you're leaning sandwich, you can't go wrong with a pulled pork or pulled chicken sammy topped with their Carolina gold sauce--it's tangy, slightly sweet, and completely addictive. And the fries? Thick-cut, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside--exactly what great fries should be. Beyond the food and drinks, Lucius Q really shines as a place to gather. They have a fantastic event space that comfortably holds around 50 people--perfect for parties or private events. It's also one of the rare downtown spots with plenty of TVs, making it a great place to catch a game. Add in live music most Fridays and a great outdoor patio for those perfect Cincinnati weather days, and it's easy to see why this place is always buzzing. Lucius Q is one of those spots I simply can't walk past without slowing down and breathing it in. Whether you're a Pendleton regular or just passing through downtown Cincinnati, it's a must-visit that delivers every single time.

So either it's just not popular for lunch or it was just an off day. Our group ordered and we were relieved as 4 more patrons walked in... But even during our stay, no more people came in. Well... Our group ate our words and stuffed our faces with some really good barbecue. We all mostly got sandwiches but these sandwiches were huge honking sandwiches. I think our waitress said it was half a pound. I ordered the brisket sandwich and macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was creamy and warm. I was hoping for a sharper bite of cheese flavor but it was still good nonetheless. The brisket sandwich was really really good. It wasn't sliced brisket but was more "pulled" consistency, like pulled pork. It was moist and tender (not dry at all). The sauce was perfectly sweet and complimented the smoky, rich brisket. My colleagues couldn't finish theirs but one ordered the chicken sandwich and another a pork. All of them were pulled consistency and had excellent flavor of their respective meat (chicken and pork) but I preferred the brisket. Do yourself a favor if your craving barbecue and come to Smokin' This and That!

Overall atmosphere is a bit over the top. Pros: The ribs were meaty, the pork sandwich was piled high. Cons: The coleslaw was mushy and tasteless, the Mac and cheese was inedible, 2 different beers we tried were flat, we did not like the BBQ sauce.
