Amazing dessert! Super yummy and the staff are all so friendly. Love seeing them at events in the local area! They had a super cool Mashle collaboration as well. The pastries are filled to the brim with crème and not too sweet, just perfect!

I didn't know there was a beard papas at this location and so I decided to try it out and see if it was as good as I remembered from the Irvine location. I had gotten the mini pack with 2 fillings. I got half vanilla and half cookies and cream. Total was only $8 and a couple of cents which isn't bad for 6 mini cream puffs. For 1 giant cream puff it's nearly $6 already and it's huge which I can't fit in my mouth

10/30/25 Cute (clean & tiny) place at the shops in the corner of South Street & 183rd (I think?) serving up cream puffs that are out of this world! Great service, too! We just had an amazing meal a Peruvian a few doors down & wanted to grab a quick dessert. I've never had Beard Papa's so we tried a few cream puffs, got the minis, 3 vanilla, 3 chocolate- oh so good with the crispy out layer & creamy filling. I loved the vanilla more than the chocolate. Also took home 1 ube fondant (lava) cake for later. It's been sitting in our fridge for 4 days & I decided to finally take the plunge. It's small for (see photo) $8.50 but, boy, did it surprise me!! Popped it in the microwave for 25 seconds & I thought it was going to be "meh". When I stuck a fork in it & out oozed this luscious, deep purple ooey gooey goodness.... WowZaH!!! Magical! It was devilishly decadent but light & delicious!!! Was it worth it? Absolutely--- if you're gonna splurge every once in a while. Will I order it again? You betcha!

Yup officially addicted, I think I like this way better than donuts.....in my opinion. Very tiny spot across from knead lol. Luckily it's never busy when we come in. Good service....including the bakers in the back.

These were delicious. It was my first time ever trying these and let me tell you, the melted in my mouth. I got a cookies and cream one and also a Dubai one. Both were tasty and were the perfect texture on the inside and outside. Service was great, the lady who helped me was very kind and its pretty small inside, no seating or anything just a grab n go kind of place.

This is the second time this place got my order wrong. I paid extra for ube filling and I got vanilla custard for both puffs. Very disappointed.

Beard Papa's in Cerritos is hands down one of my favorite dessert spots. After years of always driving out to the one in Gardena and finding out there is a Cerritos location local to me I had to stop on by and it did NOT disappoint. The cream puff was made fresh to order, so the shell was perfectly light with a pleasant crunch, with different fillings you can choose from and if you're a fan of lighter cream you can definitely ask for 1 pump instead! They also had a great selection of other flavors, which made it hard to choose. The classic vanilla custard is always a safe go-to--rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The chocolate custard was deep and not overly sweet, and the matcha had a nice earthy flavor that wasn't bitter at all. I also love that you can choose different shells, like the original, or chocolate flavors and other seasonal flavors (Our personal favorite is the Strawberry and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cola flavor collab!) The staff was friendly and efficient, even with a line, and the store was clean and well organized. You can tell they take pride in making everything fresh because nothing tasted soggy or rushed. Beard Papa's does an awesome job with seasonal flavors and collabs, and the Cerritos location consistently delivers, it really drives home the same great flavor as the same Beard Papa's back in Japan! If you're a dessert fan or just want something different, this place is 100% worth stopping by. Whether you're there to get a set for yourself or a pack of 6 to share, it's a great sweet treat gift to bring to parties! I'll definitely be back for future collabs and flavors.

This is such a cute place. I know some people who are absolutely dedicated to cream puffs I found out about this place and had to try it. I ended up going at an odd hour. Nobody was there. One other person came in after me. So I had the staffs full attention. They were asking me how my day was and explaining the flavors and giving me their recommendations. They honestly seemed extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. It's always great when you have hardworking staff like that working for you. I ended up getting a couple different flavors and a regular filled cream puff. Ok, so here's the thing. For desserts, the sweeter the better. These were not very sweet, but I loved the flavor! Plus my mom is one of those die hard fans for any type of puff pastry/ cream puffs. So I'm actually thrilled this place opened. They do have close up parking and everything was a breeze They also always seem to be having deals going on like if you buy so many it's a certain price. So you end up saving a couple dollars

We found ourselves here due to a collab with Mashle anime. There is no dining space and is strictly a take-out shop. All that being said, it's super cute and adequately decorated for the current collaboration. The server is welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic about the items presented and sold. And the fact that the items are stocked and available is a huge point because we've been to many collabs where things are "sold-out" or just simply unavailable. If you're a cream puffs person, I highly recommend trying this place out. The presentation of the puffs is appealing--they're cutely packaged and colorful. I feel like you can't go wrong with the option of vanilla or chocolate pudding. It's all pretty darn good. It's located in a busy Cerritos complex with plenty of parking. Try to come during non rush hour times for a smoother experience.

The good: easy to order and lots of options. The fillings are filled on the spot and you can see the one person working doing all this. This is super lowkey casual spot but THERE ARE NO SEATS whatsoever here - so you just order and take it elsewhere to eat.

I finally stopped by Beard Papa's the other day and my experience was wonderful! The infamous Crumble Cookies is located right across the shopping plaza and although I've been curious about those controversial cookies, I went with my gut feeling and decided on Beard Papa's as I've been dying to try a good cream puff. I ordered the chocolate fondant and Oreo Puff for myself while my boyfriend opted for a vanilla custard pudding. When we arrived there were a few people in line paying for their pastries. There isn't any seating available and the pastry shop is quaint so this is strictly a grab and go kind of place. The service here was good as the young girl behind the counter helped us out pretty quickly. The chocolate fondant is ultimately a mini chocolate lava cake and the cashier recommended me to microwave it for about 15-20 seconds. It's safe to say it was pretty good. It reminded me of the chocolate lava cakes from Domino's but fluffier. My boyfriend ended up giving me his vanilla custard pudding and it was also quite good. It tasted like a vanilla gelatin with a hint of coffee. The star of the show was most definitely the Oreo Cream Puff. I had the choice of vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate custard filling inside the puff and I opted for chocolate. I hands down give that pastry a 10/10 and wish I ordered a few more as I demolished my Oreo Puff immediately. Overall, I recommend Beard Papa's to anyone with a sweet tooth looking to try something different. Get the Oreo Cream Puff, you won't be disappointed.

The filled-to-order cream puffs here are light, fluffy, and sweetly satisfying. I recently tried them for the first time, and there were some tasty options. Browsing the available flavors, I saw the "Buy Six and get $3 Off" sign and had to go for it. I picked up a couple of the new flavors of the month. The decadent Purple Ube Oreo Puff for Halloween, with cookies and cream filling, hit the sweet tooth nicely. The cute Gudetama Puff with vanilla filling was just okay for the price ($5). I also got the Original, Strawberry Crumble, and Matcha Cream Puffs. All were delicious in their own way, and some were enjoyed more than others. They aren't overly sweet, so try a few out and find your favorites. Some flavors and fillings rotate regularly or monthly, and I've noticed that the website sometimes doesn't show the latest flavors. You'll have to visit the store to see what's available for the day or follow their social media. Although the price is premium, it's more of a nice occasional treat, but the monthly deals make coming back more enticing. The staff was kind and got me on my way in no time. Although small in space with no seating, the store is clean and inviting with fun decor. The menu and display of the cream puffs were easily viewable. They only accept cashless payments.

I didn't like the texture of the puffs. It was cold, hard but the filling was good. $5 for once cream puff was not worth it.

You have ONE slice of their special occasion shortcakes (strawberry, mango, and I think one more variety), and you instantly become a new customer--this has been their calling card for DECADES, and they EXPONENTIALLY grow their clientele with each cake sold (potentially a new customer per slice). Their customers are SO loyal that--as far as I can tell--Honey Bakery isn't even on social media--word-of-mouth, even in 2026, is all that's needed--their baked goods speak for themselves. I highly-recommend their MILK BREAD (you'll be willing to make a special trip here, SOLELY to pick up a bag or two)--if you're a bread-lover, you'll find their freshly+baked loaves to smell intoxicating, and let's see if you can stop yourself from snacking on JUST one slice, right out of the bag....they're REALLY addictive. I used to love their pork sung pastry too, but now it's a pork sung dense bread with a pastry blanket on top. This is a mom and pop shop so I feel like they either hired a new baker or one took over and has a taste for very dense bread and textures... honestly texture is not bad, but way too filling and heavy for me.

I was also there during that day wanted to say that it wasn't at all how the situation unfolded; to clarify it was definitely busy and the 2 boys at the bar station were getting absolutely swamped by orders. It was understandable that they were behind and could not keep track of every drink being made. The lady, Corrine, however made a very big scene when she noticed that her drink was definitely missing. The boy in the colored shirt whom I assume is the manager apologized for the inconvenience and went to make the replacement drink right away. While he did this the lady started to use profane language and did in fact grab the tote bag to toss. The manager did politely ask that she not throw the bag as it is still merchandise. He promptly offered them a refund for their transaction and an apology for the inconvenience. Im obviously very nosy so I listened in on the entire thing. She WAS NOT accused of stealing but I do however think it was an overreaction. I hope this helps and for the record the 2 boys on the bar area handled their rush like 2 champions.

But I will say, the bun with the coffee filling inside is spectacular, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves coffee. At night, the selection of the breads is extremely limited, but the place is still popular due to the large variety of drink offerings.
