    Entrance to the drive thru
    Derek W.

As much as I enjoy the ambience of a cafe that would enable customers to get some rest or work done, I'm afraid I still cannot award a 4th star as deserving as they may be. I came in on a Sunday when 7 Leaves was having a promotion for their Brazilian Lemonade. That day, they were offering a double leaves bonus for this specialty lemonade, which I'm pretty sure is a seasonal drink. The promotion would work at all of their locations, both for mobile and in-store orders. When I came in at about 4 PM, all of the tables were occupied except for the ones by the bar-style seats and the one in the far corner by a couch and an armchair. Actually, there was outdoor seating as well, but given the recent heat wave, I certainly wouldn't want to be sitting outside, especially at that hour. There was ample parking when I arrived, but it's not consistent, even on the same day of the week. More on that later. After I arrived, a female employee with a headset was ready to serve me. I informed her of my intent to take advantage of the double leaves promo, but she said it would only work via mobile order, and that was even after she asked her co-workers in the back. It made no sense because the promo in the app said it would work in store too, so she was clearly mistaken, yet adamant with her answer. I came earlier this year to visit a Yelp friend and had their Spanish Latte, ordering through the mobile app in the process. However, I had immense trouble placing my order in the app that I'm almost certain I'd have issues again, hence why I wasn't willing to go through that trouble. Also, on that day, which happened to be a Sunday as well, I was lucky enough to snag the last parking spot on the northwest corner, which I nearly misconstrued as a handicapped spot. Anyways, one of her other co-workers stepped in to help, and that co-worker was 1000x more helpful and friendlier than the first employee, who was also handling the drive thru orders. I don't think an employee should be handling both the front counter and the drive thru simultaneously, but they must have thought such multitasking was a good idea for whatever reason. I asked for the prices of the Brazilian Lemonade, both the regular and large sizes. Assuming that leaves do not round up when the cents portion of the total is a number greater than 7 squared, you'd get the same number of leaves for either size, at least sans toppings, so I settled for the regular size. It took about 5 minutes for the bobaristas to make my drink, and that was with no other customer in line to order, except for one who came in to pick up his online order. They made about 2-3 drinks for the drive thru customers before they handed me my drink. Once I got my Brazilian Lemonade, I grabbed a straw at the pickup counter and headed over to the far corner to chill in the armchair, where you can see all the other customers with their laptops on the tables. And if you're still reading this review, here's a hot tip I'm burying in the midst of this review: I found out through the app you can play a game to score a free Brazilian Lemonade. It's one-time only, but once you beat the game, which is pretty short, you'll be issued a reward for a free Brazilian Lemonade, and it's good for the next 7 days. The Brazilian Lemonade itself was refreshing, one that I could imagine sipping on while chilling at a beach on a sunny day. Even though there's probably a lot of sugar in that drink, it certainly wasn't overly sweet, but that might be because they included a lot of ice in my drink. I keep forgetting that you can go easy on the ice, which I believe would *not* incur an upcharge. What's unique about the Brazilian Lemonade is that they actually use a lime wedge as opposed to a lemon wedge despite being called a lemonade. Still, it's a refreshing drink that's just about perfect for those hot summer days. I enjoyed the Brazilian Lemonade overall, but I think it's a wee bit overpriced for the amount I got. Perhaps the larger size would have been the better buy, but I shudder to think how much more sugar that would have been compared to the regular size! I was also kind of perplexed with the pickup process. When my order was ready, the bobarista simply announced the drink name, but when other customers after me picked up their drinks, their names were called. I wonder if it was that way because while I was waiting for my drink, there was no other customer waiting as well? Either way, I found that a little peculiar. I do enjoy the atmosphere here, especially with a good choice of music and at a reasonable volume level for a cafe where patrons are looking to get work done. I just hope they can improve on the shortcomings that have prevented me from awarding the 4th star. Maybe on a future visit, but for now, I'm sticking with 3 stars, though this 3 stars is better than my first 3 stars. I did get my double leaves for the Brazilian Lemonade, though, so at least I'm pleased about that!

Absolute best place to get a Thai tea! I feel like other places just don't do it right. Their other drinks are pretty good too and they also have a secret menu, I recommend their strawberry sunset or love cream. The prices here aren't overpriced either which is nice. Their pastries are pretty good but I usually only come here for their drinks! The service here is chill and welcoming. The ambiance inside is cozy and they also have a little patio outside. Every time I'm craving a drink, I'm usually coming here and you should too haha.

The summer mint is so refreshing. Excellent drink on a hot day. Service was quick and plenty of seatings. Must try!

Convenient drive-through, and the only boba shop in the area that open shop at 7AM. I been here 4 times and utilize the drive-through all 4 times to satisfy my boba cravings. The staff are always as friendly and helpful. They told me that i can sign up for the 7 Leaves rewards, and even explained how that works. Their drink selection is limited, which I appreciate because it limits me from having major decision fatigue. I particularly love their mung bean drink so I get that all the time.

Visited the business with family and ordered large Vietnamese coffee easy ice. After finishing the drink. Noticed the cup was 3/4 ice!! Unsure if I paid for coffee or ice!

The good: I love that this place has a drive thru! I had their Brazilian lemonade and jasmine salted cream. I've been to 2-3 other locations before but this one is awesome because it's spacious with parking and is convenient with the drive thru option. The bad: I've had their salted jasmine tea before but this one seemed way saltier than others I've had from their same location. I think their cup could be improved as well for the drinks with the salt cream on top. A sippy cup would allow for you to get a sip of both tea and cream without you having to shake up and mix the entire cup like you do with their sealed boba cup. The interesting: Both of the drinks I ordered come at a set level of sweetness that cannot be adjusted. They sell macarons and a couple of pastry options as well. I think of 7 Leaves as the OGs of salted sea cream drinks. They've been around for over a decade and I can remember when my NorCal friends would buy a bunch of these from SoCal on their trips down.

Great customer service! It's very clean, a good place to read or study. It's busy but they are very efficient and knowledgeable. This beats any other trendy coffee shop!

I can't have them from anywhere else because these hit the spot so hard that no one can compete. I personally have not tried anything else, but my kids have enjoyed other treats from this place. They are located in Cerritos at a very busy shopping plaza and there's plenty of parking. I didn't expect the bakery to be an actual restaurant. There was a good crowd, sitting at tables and eating and drinking. They have about a dozen different flavors of macaroons. You can't go wrong with any of them, but my top favorite are the Birthday, Fruity Pebble, Horchata, Cappuccino and Ferrero Rocher. They make nice gifts too, as they can put it in a treat box in an ice brown paper bag. I definitely need to come back and try their drinks and something else from their menu.

They charge an extra dollar to substitute oat milk, so I kept the regular milk. My son got the cappuccino cake, and I chose the ricotta pistachio cake. The pistachio cake was a little dry -- not terrible, but noticeable. However, my hot salted caramel latte was actually very good and paired really well with the dessert. The music and atmosphere were nice, and there were only a few patrons inside, which made it feel relaxed. However, there were a couple of dirty plates left sitting on tables while one employee seemed more focused on organizing napkins instead of clearing them. I also wasn't too sure how fresh the cakes were since they had been sitting in the display. Whether I come back really depends on the flavor and quality of the food and drinks next time around.

I was also there during that day wanted to say that it wasn't at all how the situation unfolded; to clarify it was definitely busy and the 2 boys at the bar station were getting absolutely swamped by orders. It was understandable that they were behind and could not keep track of every drink being made. The lady, Corrine, however made a very big scene when she noticed that her drink was definitely missing. The boy in the colored shirt whom I assume is the manager apologized for the inconvenience and went to make the replacement drink right away. While he did this the lady started to use profane language and did in fact grab the tote bag to toss. The manager did politely ask that she not throw the bag as it is still merchandise. He promptly offered them a refund for their transaction and an apology for the inconvenience. Im obviously very nosy so I listened in on the entire thing. She WAS NOT accused of stealing but I do however think it was an overreaction. I hope this helps and for the record the 2 boys on the bar area handled their rush like 2 champions.

Service: 3.5 stars Brown Sugar Oat Latte: 3.5 stars…read moreBrioche: 2 stars (dry) In the span of 1-week, I happened to stop by 2 separate 85°C Bakery Cafe locations (Tustin, Cerritos). It has been so long since I've been to this plaza for Gen, that 85°C Bakery Cafe was not even open yet! We were down the street at Canaan and we wanted to grab coffee (and bread). We saw the Brioche tray "fresh" from the kitchen so we decided to grab one. Even though this Brioche was "fresher" than the ones from the Tustin location, this one was dryer. The Tustin location was pretty bare bones in their bread offerings, barely any bread for customers to purchase as compared to this location where each tray was full. The lines to the counter were also very long. When another customer (with their family) came in, they were like "What, is coffee free?" I joked with them as well since it seemed like it, with the amount of customers lined up everywhere. Good thing I placed a kiosk order for my coffee first so that was ready before I even reached the counter, helped me save time. Kiosk Order: Brown Sugar Oat Latte (Medium, Hot) $5.75 Counter: Brioche $2.85 As I mentioned in my review for the Tustin location, I am very disappointed that 85°C makes their customers purchase bag(s) and box(es) for their bread and cakes. One can bring their own bags but if one was purchasing an entire box of bread to treat others, one does have to purchase a box, for presentation. This is not a supermarket. This is not to help the environment, this is greed, plain and simple. Bag(s) $0.10 Box(es) $0.15 I do love that their coffee was extremely hot - it was still hot by the time I arrived home around 35 minutes later. I dislike lukewarm coffee, especially lattes. For flavored lattes, I normally order them half sweet, but I forgot to check if I could do that through the kiosk. The Brown Sugar was a bit too sweet for me, but it was not overpowering and the Oat Milk was a nice balance. For the price and the size of the cup, it was most certainly reasonably priced. This location has many tables for customers to enjoy their drinks and goods. This location is one of the busiest I have been to in awhile, and I used to line up for over an hour when the Irvine location first opened up. Parking can be a hit or miss, but we were lucky to find a spot right in front of the entrance.
