Some of the specialty drinks offered

This tea place is situated down the corridor where you enter for dicks sporting goods. Kinda hidden but worth it and you don't have to wait long to get your drink. The teas are flavorful.... black milk tea with boba and a peach jasmine green tea hit the spot. We reduced the sweetness as they seem to run on the sweeter side. Unfortunately seating is non existing so I guess you'll have to go shop the mall...such sacrifices for a tea hahaha.

Kinda a little disappointed.. came in and orders a brown sugar with brown sugar boba it literally didn't taste like anything. It tasted like water with ice.. and a pump of brown sugar syrup. I am completely saddened that it was mostly ice too. Unfortunately I won't be returning

We ordered 2 drinks (two different tabs). One regular drink, one from the sugar free menu (menu didn't indicate that it was sugar free from what I seen, nor did the staff give us a heads up about it being sugar free). Both were disgusting and soupy, more juice like then a smoothie. One was dragon fruit and some other (BLAND & watery) One was like Orange and mango (I added strawberry) it tasted like an orange creamsicle BUT coated in like 3 layers of sugar (sugar rush, soupy) Staff was nice and understanding. Offered to remake one of them, so we choice something with pineapple and mango, that one was even nastier (tasted like they blended one mango slice on ice with cream) . Settled for a refund.

The most terrible milk tea with boba at a mall, that I have ever tried. This tasted like a watered down coco puff bowl of cereal that had been sitting out. No taste in tea and the flavor was lacking in all aspects of the drink. The helper who took our order was nice. Not a long wait to get our drink but avoid this place at all cost. Drive down the street to 7 leaves or Gong cha to satisfy your boba craving. Such a disappointment.

While browsing the FiveStars app on a Sunday afternoon, I noticed that TBaar at Los Cerritos Center had a Buy One Milk Tea, Get One Free deal. I was planning on going out later that afternoon nearby, so I figured why not treat myself to two milk teas for the price of one? I did a little research by looking at their website and Yelp page prior to leaving home. While TBaar offers fresh juice, smoothies, fruit teas, and lemonade, the FiveStars deal only applied to milk teas, which there were about 10 different choices from Bubble Milk Black Tea to Matcha Latte. I was immediately sold on Vanilla Milk Tea as one of my drinks, but decided to wait until I actually got there to decide on the second drink. After parking my car on the Macy's side of the mall, I was pleasantly surprised that TBaar wasn't too far of a walk. TBaar is located right at the mall entrance of Dick's Sporting Goods. There were about 2-3 customers in line at the time, but luckily, I didn't have to wait long before it was my turn to order. As I was standing in line, I tried to find a menu with prices, but all I saw were TV monitors in the back that showed the different drinks available at TBaar. No mention of prices until I got to the order counter where the menu was posted on the plexiglass. You wouldn't be able to read the menu unless you were at the register, so it's good that I actually looked at their website and Yelp page beforehand. As I mentioned before, I wanted the Vanilla Milk tea, but was trying to decide what to get as my second drink. I had tried some Jasmine Milk Green Tea from Boba Guys at 2nd and PCH before, and I didn't like it that much. Maybe the one at TBaar would taste better? I decided on the Jasmine Milk Green Tea as my second drink. I added boba to both of my milk teas. The BOGO deal was applied after entering my phone number in the FiveStars Rewards tablet, but I still got charged for the boba on the free drink. After 3-5 minutes of waiting, my number was called, and the bobarista handed me my two drinks with two boba straws. After getting the drinks, I made a beeline back to my car to enjoy them. The drinks looked similar to one another, so I was afraid that I might not tell which was which. Luckily, there were labels on the cups that told me which was Jasmine Milk Green Tea and which was Vanilla Milk Tea. Also, the taste of the two drinks was so different that I definitely could tell which was Jasmine Green and which was Vanilla. The Jasmine Milk Green Tea tasted kind of sour to me. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to taste, but I wasn't asked for my desired sweetness or ice levels. I didn't really enjoy this drink, so I'm pretty convinced that I just don't like green tea, at least with milk. However, the Vanilla Milk Tea was outstanding! There was a great deal of Vanilla flavor in the drink that it pretty much washed away the sour aftertaste of the other drink. I absolutely enjoyed every sip of the vanilla, especially with the nice and chewy boba in the milk tea. I definitely should have gotten two Vanilla Milk teas instead of going with a drink that I previously didn't like, but at least now, I know not to order a Jasmine Milk Green Tea again. On my second visit, I ordered a Vanilla Milk Tea again, but this time, sans boba. It tasted just as awesome as the first drink, but I thought they added a little too much ice. I wasn't asked for my desired ice level, so that was kind of disappointing. Service was friendly, but I wish they could show the menu with prices on the TV monitors in the back so that I don't have to wait until I arrive at the register to decide what to get. Since I enjoyed the Vanilla Milk Tea so much, I would definitely be open to trying something else. Maybe a fruit tea will be my next cup of tea! :)

The drink was very healthy tasty. It was pricing tho. If you looking for a healthy drink made in front of you. This is the spot. Had the watermelon lemonade. It was very sweet and tasty. I would buy again. It dose take time to get your drinks. If you have time to wait. The workers are very friendly and nice. I do like the cups they come in. It's hard plastic so you be able to re used it. Won't break as easy too. There so many mix of fruits. So you want a sweet and different kind of drink then just soda. Got try the drinks here.

My family and I have been coming here for years! Most recently went this past weekend around 2pm and it was busy! They were training one of their staff and unfortunately got our orders wrong BUT they were extremely professional and kind about making it right. I dread having to ask but thankfully they were cool. Thank you!! We'll definitely keep coming back like we have for the past few years!

My friend and I went to Cerritos Mall and we were originally gonna get Starbucks until Tbaar caught our interest. We decided to try the drinks and it was really good for our first time. We enjoyed our drinks and felt refreshed to continue exploring the mall. Will definitely come back to try out their other drinks

Lychee lime (jasmine) green tea with aloe, hubby enjoyed it.

I get thirsty more often than I get hungry, and I'm hungry all the time; so I'm always on the lookout for a good place to slake my thirst. TBaar is in the Los Cerritos Center between Nordstrom and Macy next to Dick's Sporting Goods. Teas are made from powder, fruit teas from syrup, and smoothies and juices from real fruit and veggies, and the Green Tea they use is jasmine. They had free samples of their bubble tea, which I enjoyed because it had a strong tea flavor and it was milky. I ordered the mango orange mojito which was DELISH! I enjoyed the fizz but I would ask for less sugar next time. They have comfy, cozy seating and friendly staff. If I was in this mall, during non-rush hours (there is a little bit of a wait for them to prepare your drink), I would definitely come by, grab a drink and relax.

I always look for new boba places to try and I happen to be at the mall and ran into this place. I had their mango green tea and it was perfectly made it was not too sweet which is great. What I loved about this mango green tea is that they put fresh mango chunks in the drink which really just made the drink. I also tried my sisters brown sugar milk tea and that was honestly one of the best brown sugar milk tea I have ever had. My boyfriend got their watermelon lemonade with no boba and it was refreshing and well balanced. Overall definitely recommend coming here and they also have juices for you non boba fans.

You wouldn't think you could get quality tea at a mall, but here we are! = L O C A T I O N = TBaar is located in Cerritos Mall, hidden next to Dick's Sporting Goods. Even though it is mainly a grab-and-go spot, there is a little nook where you could sit at a couch and enjoy your beverage. = T E A = + FRESH PASSION FRUIT TEA (L, $5.25): I think these drinks that are packed with fresh fruit are harder to find because they require more prep work. I'm glad I could find it here! The fruit tea is so refreshing and the jelly adds a nice chewy element that fills the boba void for me. I also sampled the COCONUT MILK TEA and the LYCHEE LIME TEA from my friends, and they were equally delicious! I will be going for the coconut milk tea next time. ==================================== Tea: 4 // Service: 4 // Environment: 4 // Price: 4

Mango was alright. DONT GET THE STRAWBERRY YOGURT/YAKULT. You are literally paying $6 for a bottle of watered down yakult. That is all.

Sad to to say, this location is probably the worst one I have been to. Actually, my experience here was one was pretty bad compared to most boba shops. Why may you ask? Let me tell you a little story, You may skip to the end if you don't like reading. So this happened last weekend. Just had a wonderful Easter lunch and was spending time with family who I haven't seen in a couple months. Was having a good afternoon and wanted to treat everyone to nice boba treat. Lucky for me, they were running a promotion of a BOGO if you did a coloring page. I had spent the previous night coloring a masterpiece! Recalling back all the coloring skills I had back in elementary school as well as my collage art classes. Fighting through hand cramps and stress from using only a basic 12 color pencil kit to make my multicolor work of art, needless to say, I was looking forward to presenting my work to get a well deserved delicious drink bonus. Already had my eye on their Dubai chocolate frosty drink. Sunday was going great, feelings running high, until my GF and I walked into this place. Got up to the register/kiosk to order. The kiosk had nothing about the BOGO so we had to get the attention of the lone worker to help.. If help was the right word... We rang the bell and waited for a bit before the worker came. Long story short, he said he was not trained for it and had to text his manager. He just left and continued to make drinks since there was a lot of people waiting around for theirs and I could see the online orders printing out, adding to his work load. So we waited, 5 mins, 7 mins, 10 mins. nothing. No acknowledgement. No communication. meanwhile a small line had formed behind us, and I was feeling the social anxiety. I got the workers attentions and asked if there was any progress? He said the manager hasn't responded. I asked if he could call her instead of texting. He said he was too busy and left us there... W.....T......H.... At this point, we stepped to the side to allow people to use the Kiosk since we apparently weren't helped. We waited like chumps for another 10-15 minutes, no acknowledgement, and at this point I got Hangry.. So I made a joke with my GF that I could probably order a pizza and get it before this guy helps us. Hahaha.. funny joke right? EEEEHHHG! wrong... since that's exactly what happened! I ordered domino's pizza. We kept asking for help but the workers basically didn't do anything. When my app said my pizza was ready, that's when I knew we just wasted our time. 45 ish minutes for nothing. On our way out, my girl friend was nice enough to let people know who had the coloring pages in their hand that the worker doesn't know how to apply the discount, and that we waited for almost an hour. We considered going to the Fullerton location but at this point my Hangryness was at peak. I'm over it. So we left frustrated, angry and disappointed. I had to let my family know that there was no Boba for anybody. Much disappointment since everyone was looking forward to a nice tasty, frosty drink. Made me feel like a big L. Why would management run a promotion and not train workers for it? Why was there only 1 worker on a busy Easter Sunday? Talk about bad planning and training. Ironic thing is that they had the advertising for the promo right next to the Kiosk! SMH. They should have called this place "SunWrong DMV". Nothing going right, no help and long lines. They almost ruined my day, but at least the pizza didn't let us down. -- So in conclusion, be wary if you come here especially if there is a promotion, order online and expect a wait during the weekends.
