Quesadilla and fried okra
Lauren S.

We enjoyed our trip the the Bear E Patch! We took some treats to go that the whole family enjoyed. I got a quesadilla and fried okra - very delicious! The service was also very good. Come here for a diner feel and home cookin.

A hidden Gym in Charleston! I would have never thought twice about it had my friend not taken me there. There's plenty of seating for any size party and a large menu that will satisfy any craving. The friendly staff is also there to help you decide your meal. With great prices and large portions to boot! Definitely local diner vibes. I let my eyes eat instead of my stomach and needed up ordering too much. I ordered the Country fried steak cheese and egg biscuit, French toast, Harbor Saute, and the Montana Omlete. Definitely did not eat it all but I happily took everything to go and I continued to enjoy my food. Next time I'm in town this is a must stop for food.

First time here and it was great! A nice hidden gem of a diner in West Ashley. Service is quite fast, food is delicious, and it is a very casual diner vibe here. I have been wanting a club sandwich and got the the dagwood which had the ham in it like I wanted! Large portions of turkey and ham, bacon was perfect and crispy. I will definitely get it again when I want a club sandwich. Boyfriend always enjoys the country fried steak when he gets it and is his go to order!! I had a bite and it was tasty! Will definitely come back when I'm craving some breakfast or diner food.

Service is always great here. Feels like a family-owned diner. Multiple places to sit. Ordered the regular breakfast platter with eggs, choice of meat, and grits or hashbrowns. Grits were thick and so delicious! Always have a good meal anytime I go here.

Five Star Friday!! In the last few weeks I've eaten here twice and have had incredible experiences. Each day they have a great amount of offerings on their specials board. They also have a very extensive regular menu. The first visit I had Sue's Special breakfast; 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a pancake. I normally wouldn't order something I can make at home, but I'm glad I did order it. Everything was tasty. Earlier this week I returned with a few members of one of my networking groups. We have an in-person meeting once a month on Monday's, so I made us a list of local restaurants that are open on Monday. The Bear E Patch it was! This visit I ordered the Cabo Wrap; grilled chicken, bacon, peppers, onions, cheese, and a spicy Cabo sauce. The sauce was a chipotle sauce. After my first couple bites I was in love with the grilled chicken. It was seasoned perfectly and juicy and oh so yummy. I was having a hard time finding the sauce, so I asked for an extra side of it. The sauce is so yummy too. I will definitely order this again! Every time I've been here (I used to go years ago when I lived in West Ashley) to my two most recent visits the staff is always excellent. My friend Paul who's been going here for years too said it was the first place he found in WA with a diverse staff and that's why he fell in love with supporting the Patch. Until next time BEPC!

This place is hands-down a gem. It's locally owned and gives you the vibe of a mom & pop restaurant. True southern charm. When we walked in the place look packed and I was nervous about getting a table with six people during breakfast brunch. We were told wouldn't be long and they meant that. We were seated less than 10 minutes. This is the kind of place that people go for breakfast eat and leave. And I mean that in the best way possible it's like the guests know there's a a good bit of traffic during breakfast. And with good reason, the food & service was amazing. I can't wait to go visit Charleston again just to eat here.

If you are looking for a local restaurant that the local goes to, this is it, this is one of those restaurants. On a Saturday, We arrived at 7:55am, three minutes before it opens, the parking lot only has a few cars, so we decided to sit in the car and wait. Well by 7:58am, the parking lot was starting to fill up. As soon as the door opens at 8am, we walked it and we can just find our own seats. By 8:15am, the place was packed and you have wait for a table. The service was excellent, all the staff was nice and kind. They always try to refill the coffee. The diner feels of the restaurant feels good, not feeling old and dirty. The food was great, I have the Skillet with Sausage, potatoes, onion, and peppers topped with gray, it also comes with two eggs and Grits. It was a lot of food. It tasted great and great value. If I am in the area, I will come back again for sure

The people were very nice. The food was good. It looked clean. Try the pie. Be sure you check out the specials on the wall.

Absolutely amazing omelets! Try the farmer's or lowcountry and you won't be disappointed. The grits are also fantastic!

A review posted in honor of the experience one of my friends had this past week -…read more My husband and I came to Charleston specifically for the food, and out of all the amazing meals we had, Miller's All Day was hands down our favorite. We came for breakfast and started with the banana bread with Nutella cream cheese -- absolutely incredible. We also split the cornmeal pancakes, which were so good we came back the next morning just to have them again. I ordered the B.E.C. with the home fries, and I can honestly say they may have been the best potatoes I've ever had in any form. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they practically melted in my mouth. My husband had the turkey club and said it was fantastic as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We loved it so much we went back the very next day. 10/10 -- highly recommend if you're visiting Charleston!

Everything was pretty standard and there was not something that we absolutely loved. The grits were a heavier dish while the avocado on the toast was more like a spread. The chicken and waffle salad had waffle "croutons" but it kind of just tasted like an older waffle dried up. The chicken in the salad was a little thicker than it should have been. The pimento cheese and crackers were very tasty. The ambiance is fast casual and it is very hush there. Our server Hamilton was very kind and helpful.

We were able to find seats at the bar quickly but a table would have been a 30 min wait. I got a bottle of champagne (mimosa) for only $15!!! I've been to places where a carafe is $15 or more . The food and drinks are well worth it. My French toast was so good with the raspberry compote. My husband enjoyed his food & my son ate his chicken & waffle so fast I wasn't able to get a picture The waitstaff were all friendly. I will definitely return the next time we go to SI

We decided to give this a go, we have been trying different places during our visit. Based on…read morereviews we thought it's a good choice. We arrived and parking wasn't plentiful but it was a Sunday brunch so we accessed the lot close. We went inside to get on list. Told 30 minutes and it was exactly that. They had tic tac toe outside as well as tables. It was very warm inside and seemed like little airflow. We sat and asked a couple questions about what we had already decided on. I ordered the eggstravaganza, friend had similar, kids burger, kids French toast and a kids pancake. The kids burger was just mediocre, it wasn't house made but seemed a low quality patty. The child gave it a 5, kids French toast was ok to me, was eggy(which adults want) and made with challah bread. She didn't really care for it but ate it with cream sauce and other one. The kids pancake was gone in a flash! The bacon had great flavor and cooked well. The biscuit was a lil too doughy to my friend and I both(reminded me of a McDonalds biscuit) grits very creamy, eggs and sausage good. We all had waters to hydrate. I'm not sure it would be a must do if I visited again.

I hate giving bad reviews, but I will if I need to, however, this place is exceptional!…read more First it's got a super comfy vibe, think, "I've just walked into my aunt's backyard bbq with all of my family". Everyone just fits in, no matter if you're the black sheep! Seating is a little limited, but worth the wait. I guess the first person I ran into was a manager, he introduced himself, (legit, "Hi my name is Bryan" and shook my hand!) (Post Script, the handshake is pervasive here, literally both bartenders were introduced to me and both came up and shook my hand.) I had checked this place out from other Yelp reviews and already knew I wanted the Fish and Chips, so after my beer order, I was shocked and awed that without asking, he brought the Malt Vinegar! You know it's gonna be the bomb already! The fish arrived very quickly! Bruh...this fish was legit. A large solo iceberg of fried perfection crested upon a wave of fresh made "chips " and they were clearly fresh made, not the frozen variety. The beer batter on this fish was so good I was in heaven. I thought it might be heavy and greasy, and yet somehow it held only flavor, crunch, and absorbed my Malt Vinegar to perfection. This place is packed with regulars and it clearly seems to attract other service industries personnel. All good signs of a good time! This may have been my first visit, but won't be my last!
