A great breakfast spot in Leavenworth! I highly recommend joining the wait list since there's a wait however I'm not sure if this actually improved our wait time. I checked in with the hostess when we arrived and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. Other people arriving were also quoted 30 minutes. We went and walked to the park and got to the restaurant about 10 min after our table ready and they were still able to seat us. We sat outside in a covered area with heaters. Our waiter was very kind! I ordered the breakfast sando and asked for sourdough instead of the bun. The egg patty was a great serving size; the bacon was thick and amazing! The white cheddar and aioli when together well. The potato latkes were crispy on the edges and seasoned very well. The crème fraise was very light, fresh, and lemony. Definitely recommend these. Not pictured but the bear burger was delicious as well! The burger patty must have been smoked because it had an amazing sausage-like flavor. We shared the PBH toast for something sweet. There was a thick serving of peanut butter and lots of banana slices. The crushed peanuts and powdered sugar were a nice elevated addition. Definitely a nice sweet note to end the meal on especially since it wasn't too sweet. read more

The bacon is absolutely amazing!!! Service was good and staff is very friendly. They were able to turn our table very quickly which was nice right before we were headed out of town. The ambiance is very loud at least when we were in there, so keep that in mind but we didn't care! The biscuits and gravy were absolutely to die for! 10/10 would come back for this again. read more

We came for lunch and sat outside on the dog friendly front porch due to having our pup with us. The porch was enclosed in a plastic canvas with two very warm heaters. One of the servers who initially sat us seemed flustered and was not overly friendly, but our server who took care of us was wonderful, very attentive, and super kind. I ordered the Miso Mushroom Melt which was absolutely delicious. My 13 year old son ordered the smoked salmon Benedict which I tried a bite of and it was sooo flavorful. The smoked salmon was fantastic. My 11 year old ordered the fried chicken and waffles with syrup and butter on the side which he enjoyed but did not love and my 7 year old got a plain cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and the fries were well loved by her and my husband. We would definitely return while in Leavenworth for another meal when visiting! read more

Absolutely not for groups. The inside is so small. Outside they have a few rocky picnic tables if you can stand the cold. They do have heaters, but it blasts right in your face so you end up turning it down or off. The inside has tables for small sets of 2, maybe a few for 4, but not much. As most restaurants in this town, it's a walk up to order type of place which is fine. If you order a coffee, they give it to you right there. If you have a group, it can be difficult getting those to your table. The menu has a decent amount of selections, including some rotating specials. I tried the biscuits and gravy which were good, biscuit was a little dry but overall okay. Those who had the waffles really enjoyed it. They have good coffee! read more

I finally got to try this cute new place when I was in town for a pop-up market nearby. My mom loves it so we placed our lunch orders for pick-up to enjoy while holding down the booth. I had the mushroom toast and my mom had the avocado toast. You can also add an egg on top of the toast, which I did for some extra protein. It was a tough decision as everything on the menu sounds amazing. They have lots of sandwiches to choose from and delicious brunch options too. My mushroom toast was so decadent! I came here on a Sunday for a late lunch around 1:30pm. The inside has a few small tables but my party of 2 was able to be seated immediately. There are more tables outdoors as well. You order at the counter and I got the shakshuka-ish and the potato latkes with salmon, pickled red onions, greens, and crème fraiche. The shakshuka came with two pieces of toast and a poached egg. Both were delicious! Definitely one of the best food stops in Leavenworth. Stopped by Bear Bear for some Sunday brunch with my gals. We tried a variety of dishes including the Shakshuka, the Benedict with Bacon, and the Brekky sandwich. We all found our food to be good and well priced. I got the Benedict and wish the egg was a bit more cooked as the egg white was very runny and the egg quickly fell apart on my dish. Super disappointing! I am sure the food is wonderful but we were pointed to a table to sit at outside and ignored. When we got there most tables around us were empty. We were never given menus or brought waters. The waitress took dishes, orders, and brought out food to/from the tables around us and even brought drinks out to a table that arrived after us. This is a little gem in leavenworth. Very cute and small. Definitely if going for brunch on a weekend do the online waitlist. The service is pretty laid back and the food comes out a bit slow but that's mostly because it was very busy. Onto the food..... the chicken and waffles was one of the best I've ever had . It wasn't overly sweet, was a great balance of flavors, and I left full and happy. My fiancé got the mushroom toast + an egg which was also very good. The pickled radish salad on the side was one of my favorite things. I'd highly recommend either of these items but I can't wait to go back for more and will update this review. read more

The waffles and coffee were great. We also had a hamburger but we're not prepared for the seasoning that overpowered both the burger and the waffle fries. That was a little disappointing but we'd still eat there again with the knowledge of making sure to skip that spice, and pickled onions. What a lovely breakfast cabin in beautiful Leavenworth! The staff were super joyful and kind, warmed the whole place up. Came here on a day trip to enjoy the Christmas vibes in town and there was no better place to start the day than bear bear. I ordered the shakshuka with a mimosa and was not disappointed at all. Drink had a good punch and the shuka was warm savory with a hint of sweetness. They give little slices of bread with the dish but I felt it needed a tiny bit more - would recommend asking for an extra slice if you are dipping fan like me. Glad we came 5/5! read more
