First time here and i had beyond excellent service. I called a few places for a quote and this place had the best prices. Paul was very thorough, offered 3 options to choose from. When I dropped off my vehicle I was helped by Sherrie, I witnessed an act of kindness that was super generous and amazing to see as a first time customer. A lady in scrubs came in to pay for her service, made an arrangement with Paul to pay $200, the rest later. Sherrie's husband and Paul took care of the rest of the bill, and let her know that she was taken care of. This lady was in shock and grateful at the same time. It was a sweet moment and it made me feel secure that my car was in good hands. I work until 5pm, Paul waited for me until 5:30 and explained every detail of my service. Hands down THE BEST and safest place to get a vehicle to get worked on. When I moved here years ago I was absolutely beyond hesitant as to where to take my vehicle. Being a woman, I am extra hesitant that somebody's going to try to pull the wool over my eyes when it comes to car repairs. Paul, Dan, Jeff and everyone else on their team go above and beyond to satisfy my hesitations. They take care of my vehicles so well and I cannot thank them enough. My wife brought my 07 mustang here on America's tire's recommendation, after I rebuilt the suspension and had Michelin tires installed at America's tire. The guys at Bear were great to my wife. Lake Elsinore ford botched my alignment a month before, where the inner part of my front tire went bald after ford did the work, even after I rebuilt my suspension, ( new tie rods, ball joints, struts & spring assemblies). This took about one years life off of my tires and caused me to replace them. Bear said ford failed to adjust the new camber adjustment kits I had installed, even though I specifically told ford to do so. My car is now aligned perfectly, it corners quite well and turns on a dime, much better than when new! read more

I am writing to do an updated reviews on this shop. Please stay away! I took my car to a legitimate shop where I knew they would not try to rip me off. They showed me the damaged axle which was replaced with a brand new axle 3 days prior to bringing it to Bear Alignment & Brake Service. It had 2 punctures in the boot consistent to a flathead screwdriver puncture. Clearly disappointed and almost ripped off. Beware of all the positive reviews on this site. Not sure if any of them are legitimate. NEVER coming back here. STAY AWAY! read more

Went to Americas Tire Depot. The guys were cool, but they couldn't do my wheel alignment because of how close the bumper was. Said I needed the "old school" machine so they sent me to Bear. Im pretty scketchy about random guys touching my car (95' Supra) so I checked out the reviews. Saw some negative ones, so I contemplated it. I set up an appointment and brought it in with low expectations. Customer service was good, general knowledge was good, and they even went out if their way for another customer while I was there which didn't benefit me, but its respectable. Service was done in an hour or so with a 6 month warranty at $55. They even dropped $5 for me as a military discount which was cool. So $50 is helluva lot cheaper than the $90 that Americas tire depot was going to charge. Not to put them down. Overall, I can't give it a 5/5 because ive only had the car back for a few hours. So far, its been handling well. Impressed me on a few corners. This review was also posted on Google. read more

I went to do alignment cause I saw they have special for 55$ when I went there and I showed the guy that I have coupon for 45$ off he told me oh your car its need special work so it's 88$ not 55$ I asked my mechanic and said alignment on all cars is the same there's nothing different doesn't matter what kind of the car. I will never go there ever cause they back on their words and all they are special it's fake to let you go there then they charge you double or more , wasting time drove two time . disappointment . read more

I went to Costco to get my tires replaced and couldn't find my wheel lock key. The guy at Costco referred me to Bear Complete Car Care. I drove down to their shop in Corona and explained my problem. Within an hour they were able to remove all four wheel locks and replace them with regular lug nuts. The biggest surprise was that they did it for free!!! After handing my keys over to these guys (for a rear-shock repair that I didn't even know about until they enlightened me, an alignment, and a weird once-in-a-blue-moon diesel incident -no comment-haha), I am ever more impressed by them. I hesitated writing a review because I just don't think I could do them any justice with a short written review. But, for them, I'll risk it. The vibe is old school, grease-monkey-ish (mechanic shop after all)and not snazzy, but I think that telling element is its charm. They focus less on the way they look on the outside and care more about doing a stand-up job; it's what we love most about Bear Car Care. Their work speaks for itself. To say that these guys have great integrity would be an understatement. Paul always speaks calmly and knowledgeably which is an absolutely rare find. He's some how selected a crew whose members could probably run their own individual shops if they wanted to based on their knowledge-base and their experience. Whenever I leave there, I can't help saying, "once again you guys came to the rescue!". Imagine saying to your mechanic, "thanks, I can't wait to come back" haha! We brought our vehicle here for new brakes and rear main seal repairs. As a rule of thumb, I dont trust mechanics...i have to say this group changed my mind. They backed up the quote they gave us even though it ended up being a much bigger job. For the 2nd time I let Bear do work on a vehicle of mine that was not needed. If you go here and are told to have something replaced make sure you get a 2nd opinion. The second visit gave me a systems check which turned up some problems. Everything was thoroughly explained so that I comprehended. Took my Volvo C70 for rear brakes. When I left with new rotors and pads there were strange noises so I took it back. Bear said they checked it out and there was nothing wrong. Today I took it to Volvo because my wife refused to drive the car. Volvo put Volvo rotors and pads on the car and the noises are gone. Volvo told me that it is well known in the industry that none Volvo rotors and pads will make strange noises. Yeh, Volvo parts are expensive but Bear should have told me upfront and I would have opted for the Volvo part. As it is I had to pay Volvo $500 to redo the work with Volvo parts after paying Bear $250. read more

I was really excited to go here based on the reviews... What a bitter disappointment. I gave it two stars because the work seems to be okay, though the brakes are still squeaking. Granted, Paul said I could bring it back in should that happen, but I don't have another 3 1/2 hours to waste. I made an appointment for Tuesday at 12:30. Showed up on time and my car was promptly taken in. I needed back brakes, the front rotors resurfaced (which they also tried to trick me into a full brake job, but when asked point blank about the condition of my brakes were honest that the pads were just fine), and two tire studs replaced for the same wheel. Long story short, I was there for over three hours for this service. After over two hours of sitting there and not being told anything, I finally asked why it wasn't done yet. Turns out they had gotten in the wrong parts.. twice (allegedly... though why you don't check that is beyond me), and didn't think they should inform me there was a problem. I was assured it was almost done. While I am waiting, some girls from AutoZone show up with parts... Ended up those were my parts!!! They weren't even working on my car!!! The complete indifference toward my time was infuriating. I had to cancel my afternoon at work and ended up losing out on a lot more money than just the cost of the brake job, all because they couldn't even have the common courtesy to inform me of the situation. I would have rescheduled... Or gladly accepted a ride had it been offered. Instead I was stuck and totally pissed off. I voiced this, and a slight discount was applied, but not anywhere near what I ended up losing out on. I hate that I can't support this place, because I prefer to support small businesses when I can. I usually try to support small businesses, especially in my local area. However, this place was a big let down and not what I would expect from a small business! I went Saturday morning to get my Astro Van aligned since I just had new tires put on the night before. I pull up at 8:45am. There was 1 pickup truck waiting ahead of me. The guy behind the counter said the only way they could do it for me was to leave the vehicle there and they could get it done closer to the end of the day. I said, "You only have 1 truck out there right now and I have no way of getting back home." He said, "Sorry" So I left and went to Discount Tire Center across the street. They acted very professional and even greeted me when I pulled in. (unlike Bear Alignment where the guy barely made eye contact) They immediately put the van on the ramp and went to work! The technician knocked it out in 45 minutes and even showed me a "before and after" spread sheet because the front tires were out of alignment. Bear Alignment was a big let down! read more

This is the place if you want it done right. You can trust that the work will be completed expertly and that you will be treated professionally. I brought my vehicle in regarding a front suspension issue. It was diagnosed immediately and I was invited to see the problems firsthand. I was put at ease at once that I was dealing with knowledgeable staff whose goal it was to do the job right the first time and keep me as a satisfied customer for life. During the course of the repair, additional problems were discovered. This is common in auto repair. Instead of those issues being ignored or becoming huge add-ons, the philosophy was that they would rather give away some labor hours and have a satisfied customer. The additional problems were explained and I was only charged for the parts. As a result I saved hundreds of dollars on labor and have complete confidence that the job was done right. Very fair prices as well. A professional, top quality oil change is only $25. They don't charge set-in-stone book rates, reducing labor costs when tasks overlap. This place is great!!!! Bear Alignment and Brake Service was recommended to me by the manager at Americas Tire in Corona, (another place I would highly recommend). I had a loud squeaky whine (which ended up being my power steering pump) and a horrible knocking noise that 3 other mechanics couldn't find but were continuing to tell me my car was okay to drive. I drive close to 30K miles a year so I need to depend on my car. Bear diagnosed the problems within 40 minutes of my being there, fixed the car and couldn't have been more professional. Their manager Paul, was fabulous, took the time to explain everything to me, showed me the parts that needed replacing and followed up with a call the next morning to insure I was satisfied with my car. You rarely get customer service like that anymore. Everyone at this business was friendly, helpful and took pride in their part of making this business successful.
