I don't always get my car serviced but when I do, I come here! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Been coming here since 2003. I drive all the way from LA to come here. The staff is super knowledgeable. Paul, the shop's manager is always great! He explains everything that it needs and in great detail. He's like the car doctor. I came in told him what noise I'm hearing when I drive and right away knew what it was. Paul is really honest with you if you can wait to get something or can get it for cheaper elsewhere he will tell you. Or if you come in and say you need something done and when they check your car it's really something else he will tell you. They are also really good about telling you if they notice you will need something eventually. Great place! Highly recommend it. read more

I can not even give Paul and his team enough AWESOME STARS! My mom and daughter drove down from San Francisco over the weekend. Two hours into the drive the A/C is not working. To have mom (80+ years) in the car that long and her pup was truly a difficult drive in that HEAT! My family was leaving Tuesday EARLY morning back to SF and on a time constraint. I came in with a really bad alignment problem. I had just gotten my whole front suspension redone on my lifted Silverado 1500 and the alignment was super out of whack. Bear fought it for more than 24 hours. Usually it only takes an hour, lol! They were saying it was something they haven't seen before in the all years they've been in business, but they figured it out and now I'm truck is running straighter than it ever has. I took my truck to these guys to get an alignment done. After telling them I was going on a long road trip, and didn't have much time, I was one of the first ones there the next morning. So I drop my truck off bright and early the next morning. I get a call about half an hour later, and the owner goes on to tell me that I have over five hundred dollars in front end work. Typical auto repair, right. So then he says he can't align it without spending five hundred plus! So now I'm in a panick, figuring no one can work on my vehicle until I spend five hundred dollars. Not the case at all! I took it across the street, they put it up on the hoist, and to our surprise, the only thing that was off were the barings in the front left wheel. And bear never mentioned the barings. The mechanic stated that it wasn't that bad and that I'd be safe on the road trip. Well it's been five thousand miles later, and still no front suspension problem like bear had mentioned. And for the owner to use my situation as a weakness against me, oh boy what a piece! My name is Alfonso, And I want to thank the entire team... had a great experience. Very fair price! Very honest people! Jeff inspected my truck suspension and showed me exactly what was wrong. He gave me the option of just taking care of the issues (that were several with the suspension) or buy the whole kit and would take of everything. Decided to do everything. It was worth it. I did had a small alignment issue and took it back in... a technician inspected and did some adjustments. Jeff stepped in drove it and there was something he did not liked. He personally did and adjustment to the alignment, drove it one more time and it was good to go. Now my truck drives like a champ very smoothly and straight. Too bad there isn't more stars to add! I have a 2005 F150 4 x 4 with 150k miles. Front end was shot... Couldn't keep the truck between the lines on the freeway due to the play in the suspension. After Bear provided a free full inspection, I badly needed some work. After new tie rods, control arms and ball joints, my truck has never drove better. Let me start off by saying that finding a mechanic/shop that has great customer service, skilled and thorough technicians, AND integrity and honesty is like finding a needle in a haystack. And once you find one...you always go back. That's what I have found at Bear Alignment. A business that, from my experience, runs with a great work ethic and amazing customer service. This is a long review, but I'm so happy with the service I received, I want to let you (a fellow consumer) know. I moved to Corona in August, and it's been smooth sailing with my car...until about 2 weeks ago. I started having problems and I'm a long way from my last trusted mechanic. So I brought my Toyota Corolla to Bear Alignment. I came in as a walk in, and they were very busy with appointments, but still made time to fit me in. They completed an entire safety check on my vehicle and then explained everything to me. I want to note that while I waiting for this to be done, I overheard the (I believe manager) Paul talking to what seemed to be a distributer on the phone about a part for another customers car. A price for the part was communicated to Paul, and (from what I could gather by evesdropping), Paul said he was going to pass on the part and was going to keep looking to see if he could find it somewhere else, because what they were going to charge was more than he was willing to charge the customer. I was really surprised by that...so he's going to take HIS own time to shop around for a better price for a part, so he can then give that discount to his customer, as opposed to just raising the price of his service? Awesome. Fast forward to the safety inspection being completed, and because they didn't find anything wrong with the vehicle (As it turns out, I believe my car had been hydroplaning in all that rain we were getting recently), they didn't even charge me. I was super impressed by that. I ended up getting new tires to fix the problem, and bringing my car back to them to get it aligned, since I was so impressed the first time. I had problems with my car again - it was making a funny noise and driving super rough, and so I brought it back to them. Turned out to be a tire issue. But here's the kicker. I was in a hurry to get to work, dropped the car off, and headed to enterprise to rent a car for the day. Bear Alignment called me very soon after I left and said they'd figured out what was wrong - a tire had blown out because of a nail I'd run over (sigh). I was heading to OC to get to work, and couldn't return to get my car over to a tire shop. So what do they do? They put on my spare, call the tire shop, drive it down there, wait for it to be fixed, and drive it back to Bear to wait for me to pick it up. And then, when I call to ask what I can pay for this HUGE help to me...they say no charge. AGAIN. They said - we didn't do an actual service on your car, so please don't worry about it. I want to mention too, when I went to Enterprise, they had only the best things to say about Bear. Can't say I was surprised! So can I just say, they have earned my business for...ever. This kind of care and great service seems few and far between these days, and I'm all about supporting a business that goes above and beyond to take care of it's customers. Thank you Bear Alignment!! I came here for an alignment and Paul the shops manager was amazing!!! From the communication through yelp all the way until I left the shop. There was an issue with my caster and he explained to me in detail how that affected my car and what steps to take in order to fix it. Basically Paul gave me a class on my cars issue. He told me he can fix the issue but suggested to take it to my dealership and see if it came defective. Paul and his team spent a little over an hour of their time to find the exact issue and did not lie just to do the alignment to charge me. At the end they did not charge me anything! C'mon who does that? Now in days is hard to find honesty and transparency. I called the dealership and I might be covered through my warranty! If it wasn't for Paul I would have never called the dealership. Amazing! One more thing to point out.... I brought my other car here 2 years ago for an alignment and it still runs perfect. Textbook example of a perfect 5 star experience. I recently purchased 4 new tires for my Camry and needed an alignment. I called Bear, along with 2 other shops. One of the other shops was almost double the Bear price, and the other was more than double. Given that, and that Bear was close to my work, I decided to try them out. I made an appointment for 1 pm, and showed up right at that time. They immediately took my car and said it would take about an hour. I mentioned that I was going to walk over to the Miguel Jrs a block away for lunch, and Paul just happened to have a gift card for them for a free burrito that he gave me. After lunch I walked back, and my car was ready right at 2 pm. On top of all that, I asked if they could take a look at a loose splash shield (the protective panels under the front of your car). They found that a bolt/retainer had worked itself free, so they replaced it and secured it at no extra charge. Overall A+ experience! read more
